I liked that it is in a very odd location that is in the city but you wouldn't think it was with its free parking and nice garden atmosphere, with spacious rooms and kitchens that they don't advertise but are a definate plus!!
Location Room Size
Cleanliness (lack of) Poor wi-fi Poor Breakfast No heater Water was not very hot
The location was excellent! It was easy to get around everywhere we wanted to go. Having a car, the free parking was a bonus. I arrived very, very late, after midnight, and they were waiting for me and knew my name! I love the room had a kitchenette also. Easily walkable to so many places, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was clean and I always felt safe, even staying on my own.
The rooms do need a little updating, and the bathroom is a bit tight; however, this is all to be expected for this price and location.
Location , value , wifi and stuff
There is no view from room
Walking distance to Fisherman's Wraf and ocean.
No AC in the room. You can feel the springs in the bed.
Comfort of the bed was too stiff bathroom was dirty and thrashed Room was too small, Microwave was next to my head, Fridge in the closet, Not enough room to move around between the bed and TV.
Especially it is good for group of friends and family.
The location is within walking distance to many areas and the San Francisco Big Bus stop. Breakfast was only sweet cake and muffins, but nice coffee, tea or juice. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
the place & location
This place was quite perfect! I traveled up to the city this past weekend and had an amazing stay at this hotel. It was in a good neighborhood and close to bars, restaurants, and little shops. The price was exceptional and beat out all competitors. With the price being lower i thought the room might be a little more crammed and that we would try and be out of the room as much as possible. I was wrong, there was a nice little kitchen and mini fridge, a closet, and the beds were on opposite sides of the room! Would recommend this hotel to all friends and family!
Super helpful staff. Always friendly and pleasant. Location to family and places to see and eat. Half the price of other places.
No dresser or clock in room.
staff was helpfull good location
the walls are too thin, you could hear the neighbours talking. breakfast was too weak, just muffin and coffee-tea.
The location, the parking
There were a lot of small problems: some holes on the wall, some nails going out from the walls, a torn towell rack... A surprising breakfast made of tea or coffee with some pieces of cake and no place for sitting in the breakfast room wich is the small lobby of the hotel We also discovered that if we took the room directly at the hotel it was much cheaper than through Booking (US$109 instead of 139 !)
Affordable, clean and in a good location (lovely restaurants and shops along Union Street)
You get what you pay for, so don't expect luxury - just wish the shower had stayed consistently warm
Too much noise.
Position next to the hot spots of Frisco
They charge you a lot of money just for the position. The rooms are very small, the surroundings are noisy. The breakfast is ridiculous. Never again.
Location, near to centre of town and plenty of decent restaurants. Car parking on site and free.
Fridge not working on arrival; started by staff, but then froze everything! Maid did not wash up dirty tea mugs on 3 days we were there. No supplies of tea or coffee. Breakfast of only muffins, juice, and coffee very inadequate, and nowhere to eat it apart from in bedrooms. Air-conditioning not working, so had to have portable heater in room (nights were cold in late October).
Much appreciated good service by front desk for early check in and late check out.
Reception clerk Jonah! Nothing too much trouble. Great suggestions for limited time in the city. Location. Public transport to wherever is almost on the doorstep. Good value for money.
No tea making in room..a small frig only, to be used for...?? Small, motel rooms with no storage - one small cupboard. VERY basic breakfast...tea bags but only tepid water. But good coffee.
they accommodated us in a medical emergency. they had parking free of charge. the little kitchenettes are good.
location, parking and excellent staff
- There was a strange smell in the room, i had to leave the window open. - Old furniture
This is a tired old motel, suitable if you are not going to stay in the room any appreciable length of time. Nor is there any common room to relax in. I would look for other accommodations.
The central location, very helpful staff, Easy to walk to most places.
NO AIR CONDITIONING, ROOM WAS MUSTY, HAD TO REQUEST COFFE POT, IRON,& FAN (to big for the window). BREAKFAST WAS A JOKE, ONLY COFFEE, (NO decaf), OJ, AND MUFFINS. HAD TO TAKE BACK TO THE ROOM, NO PLACE TO EAT IN 8x8 LOBBY. NO PRINTER AVAILABLE EXCEPT TO PRINT BOARD PASSES. NO ELEVATOR, BUT WAS ONLY TWO STORES. DID HAVE MICROWAVE BUT NO REFRIG. NO COFFE POT IN ROOM. WAS OVER PRICED!!
Our room had two bathrooms! Awesome. Comfortable bed, clean, friendly staff Perfect choice -- location could not have been any better.
Breakfast was a bit skimpy -- just croissants or muffins and coffee. Would be enhanced with fruit and yogurt -- and butter or jam for the croissants. But the croissants were good!
Shower would go hot and cold and there was no place to put soap or shampoo
