The hotel's location was in a great part of the city. The Wi-Fi was free. There were several nice eating establishments within walking distance.
The room was extremely small. The A/C did not work. Parts of the floor felt like they could collapse under your feet. The bathroom was clean, but only had a shower, no tub. The parking was very, very tight. For what the room cost, I expected a little bit better.
The parking had very small spaces. You can barely get out of you car. The rooms smelled, ripped carpet, power strips for plug ins. The lights went out when we turned on the hair dryer. Very loud, can't sleep at night. No A/C. Do not recommend!
Location. Friendly staff
Power kept on going out, which meant crawling under table to reset, all power went out so had to get ready in the dark.
Pool Location, Old facility poorly maintained. No Noise absorbation. Doors unsecure, did never know when someone would step into Room. Breakfast a filthy red table in a cramped Little corner.
The location is the reason we stay here.
The sliding shower door was fixed by using a shower curtain and rod. That is how the inn keeps the rooms. The decor is dated and cheap. Do not stay here and hang out you will be disappointed by the lack of atmosphere.
It was near the wharf, took about 5 minutes to drive over. There was parking at the Inn for our vehicle. The room had enough space for my 2 friends & myself.
It was way overpriced. We went over for a Concert, Beyoncé & JayZ so they hiked up the prices all over SanFrancisco. There is NO AC unit to cool down the room, so while all of us were getting ready for the concert we were burning up. We called to request more towels & the receptionist said "ooooooh kaaaaaaa", I guess no one has ever requested additional towels? The room needs serious updating! It seems that it's all on its last leg. The tiles in the bathroom are all falling apart. The sink seemed to be missing a fixture. The pillows were like rocks. The bed was uncomfortable. Such a disappointment. I would recommend you do not stay here unless you have run out of options.
It's not too far from fisherman's wharf and Chinatown (if you don't mind walk couple of miles as I did)
Very slow free wi-fi
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great location.
Noisy. No real room for breakfast.
Jonah took great care of us....great guy...extremely helpful!!!
Didn't care for the room we were given the first night...asked to be placed in a more cheerful room and Jonah completely hooked us up for which we were very grateful....thank you so much for a wonderful experience
The availability of a parking area is a huge advantage and ease. Breakfast is tiny but sympathic. Couple of laundry places in near walking distances. Some good dining places in nearby Hollow Cow.
Those non-disciplined customers that smash the doors of their room/appt when they leave or come in. It makes a hell of noise, and you can imagine how pleasant that is in the middle of the night. But those stone age customers can be found anywhere of course. Old-style TV in the room. We didn't use TV, but it takes a lot of place in the room being not a flatscreen TV.
Loved the location of the hotel and the nice room. The parking was tight but very convenient and close.
The walls must be very thin and room noise was persistent each night. Fortunately, we were exhausted so it didn't bother us too much.
Great location and free parking is the most important perk. Has that nostalgic motel feel, but really quite comfortable. Definitely recommended. I usually stay here.
Like everything else in the Bay Area, it is overpriced.
Great location right on bus route, free parking, near Lombard, near Fisherman's Wharf. Older motel, but clean.
Breakfast was just coffee, juice, and muffins (which were good), but there are many restaurants nearby if you want more food choices.
The breakfast cold not really be calld a breakfast.
The location was great. Just a short bus ride to the wharf or Chinatown. Good neighborhood dining options and stores.
Wildly fluctuating water temp in the shower that would never regulate. Glad the shower was large enough to stand next to the water flow and jump in when it was the right temp and then back out before it went to full hot or full cold.
Close to the Pier Area Jonah on the front desk was great value.
A bit dated.
Poor breakfast. I mean Almost Zero, useless info' breakfast included in the price'
The accomodations were sparse but within acceptable range for the rate. The location was quite good, only a short distance from the winding garden & some great views from Pacific heights.
The room was a bit musky, seems like the carpet needed a a good shampoo.
good value free parking great location clean and comfortable wifi access
The hotel was nice....great up keep. Really quiet and only about a mile to fishermans warf
The breakfast was just a muffin and juice
Location and off street parking.
Musty smell until we opened the windows.
Tony the morning staff was very helpful and knew alot about the area. Great location in the city.
The evening staff did not seem to care. There was no coffe in the rooms and did not serve coffee in the office till 7am so if you wanted to leave early you could not get any coffee. No air conditioning in the rooms. Rooms where out dated. Not worth the money paid just to sleep there.
Best price we could find without being too far away from the attractions we wanted to see. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean.
The furnishings were on the old side and the bed was too firm for my taste.
I liked the uniqueness of the staff. Room was very quiet for the location.
We had to change rooms due to the fact that the tv wasn't working no coffee
