Score from 162 reviews Wonderful
We liked the very comfortable bed, the breakfast being brought in, the closeness to the shopping area, the motel was unique and special because of it's age.
We were told we could order breakfast from 7am to 11am but no one was at the front desk until 7:30 or later. The air-conditioner was too close to our head and needs to be put closer to the foot of the bed
The staff were friendly, answered all our questions and the location was wonderful. We didnt drive our truck the whole weekend
The fact that we were unable to even look and explore the bath house due to not being able to enter without the attendant whom we never saw.
Lovely large room with a two person jetted tub, complementary coffee and drinks, breakfast brought to you in the room, old time spa on premises, great location for walking around town.
Need to contact guests directly about spa services available so they don't arrive and find everything booked.
Size of room and spa tub
Could only stay one night
The bed was very comfortable and the spa tub was nice. The staff was quite courteous and helpful.
The location primarily - when we wanted an evening meal we had to walk quite a ways to a restaurant. Also, the parking situation wasn't the best.
The whole experience was wonderful. The staff was great and ready to help us anyway we needed. Quiet and luxurious.
We loved everything.
We liked everything about the hotel, did think it was a bit pricey.
Location, wish it was closed to the shopping area, you know bad knees.
The historical aspect of the building was quite interesting. Perfect location and access to all the shops was very convenient. The Staff was extremely helpful and our stay was very nice. We will be going back.
The people were very kind to my wife and I. We felt very welcomed when we checked in and stayed overnight. The room was clean and they even added a romantic touch of rose pedals since it was our anniversary. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Eureka Springs area.
Spacious and stately elegance
Price was high
loved the huge Jacuzzi tub
we left a review on the comment card in room.
Old historic hotel with large room. Large comfortable bed.
Insufficient parking for 8 guest (had to park on the street and got a parking ticket). Needs an infusion of money for restoration.
Loved the champagne treat and breakfast - very delightful place
Period feel and welcoming atmosphere
Loved the convenience to the shops.
The view from our hotel room was beautiful with all the fall colors.
The antique hotel was beautifully restored and appointed, was very romantic. Rooms were large! We had a lovely view of the valley but were also two blocks from historic downtown. Free offstreet parking was included.
Breakfast of coffee, juice, fruit and pastry was gorgeously presented. Only suggestion, pastry could have been better quality.
It was a great place to stay. So peaceful and serene. Would have liked a second bottle of champagne in frig....LOL! We are so happy to see our history being preserved and well cared for. We loved it and will be back next year for our anniversary.
Having to go home!
We liked the historic value of the building and the location in relationship to the shops and restaurants.
It was noisy. Rooms are close to the street and more traffic noise than we would have liked.
The rooms were luxurious and large, staff extra helpful and friendly. Champagne and breakfast in room was a nice touch. It is within walking distance of shops and restaurants, don;'t need a car to drive once in the town
We had a street facing room and it was very noisy. Would ask for a room facing the back next time.....If you park in the lot below, the steps are formidable
Room accomodations, whirlpool tub and breakfast in room
was a little pricey
Period furniture was uncomfortable to sit and relax on
I liked everything. My wife and I agree that we will be returning.
The only thing we didn't like couldn't really be helped. From the hotel parking to the door one has to walk up 89 steps. That's hard on us old folks.
Close to shopping area.
Where do we start... We were in an entry floor room, which would have been fine except for the fact the door was gapped from the frame at the top and we felt like we had to whisper to keep from being heard outside the room. This was made worse by the hotel staff (the young guy who was a bit on the creepy side) sat at the hotels "office", which was in the open lobby area and about 10 feet from our room door, pretty much the whole time. Grant it this is an old hotel and we knew that going in, however, we were not excepting it to not be kept up. Once inside the room, the wallpaper was coming off the walls, tiles were coming off the bathroom walls, and the blinds were ripped. The only actual place to sit was the bed. There were two old chairs that creaked and wobbled so needless to say not a comfortable feeling trying to sit there. There was also a bench in front of the window a/c unit, so sitting there required a parka. Breakfast that was included with the room was a joke, at least to us: paper thin apple slices that were dry and starting to turn brown, a single orange slice, a single kiwi slice (fuzz still on the outside), a small dry pastry ( about two bites worth), and 4 oz cups of orange juice and coffee. The walls are either not very thick or not insulated; the person on the other side of the wall was either coughing up a lung or puking their toenails up. The shower/jetted tub is hazardous: difficult to get in and out of, sloped to the point of making footing difficult, and smooth so slipping is almost impossible to avoid. Might take some Clorox wipes with you to clean it before using as well. Parking is down the hill behind the hotel along the street. Didn't make me feel too comfortable leaving the car, but didn't have any other choices. We had booked four nights. Needless to say we were out of there the following morning, we checked out and moved our vacation spot from Eureka Springs to Branson, Mo.
