The location relative to my meeting was great. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
I was unaware just how small the room was and most surprisingly is that it didn't have a closet.
The decor, paid wifi. Old and clunky
Bed was great, and location
No coffee in rooms
Nicest place I've stayed. The entrance was the best!
What an incredible hotel! Our first trip to Chicago and we could have never asked for a better place to stay. Very central to everything. The staff was fantastic, the rooms were so nice and big. We will stay there again!
There is so many things we liked. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location would be hard to beat, the room was comfortable and the bed was great!
Long wait for elevators, the bath room was on the small side.
Grandeur of the hotel lobby Location from the metro to get to/from airport Concierge was entertaining and helpful
Prices for food and drink in the hotel seemed a little pricey No mini-bar in the room (not sure if this was just our room)
Gym Quiet, comfortable room. Pleasant staff Convenience to theater district
Hotel plant and rooms could use refreshing
Location. Inside the loop. No need for a car.
Sound proofing is appalling. Selection at bar is poor.
Paying for wi fi
Location was great no need for a car to explore the city. Friendly staff and spacious lobby and hallways. Too many elevators. Hotel has 4 entrances one on each side of the block. Classis feel hotel with modern renovation.
The rates were high. No free enternet in the rooms.
Be quiet. Convinence
Second visit here, great hotel spoilt but inefficient check out process
Checking out was atrocious, couldn't do it online so had to queue with people checking in with only 4 staff on duty. Spoilt the experience of a beautiful stay
My husband and myself absolutely loved the actual property.
Unfortunately, the staff was disappointing. The bellhop and concierge were very friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff that we had interactions with were not friendly at all. They actually seemed put out to help us as guests of the hotel.
Lack of a mini bar or kettle for hot drinks
Very central. Close to metro.
Have to pay for wifi in room.
Located in a nice location, very close to metro and bus lines. Quite place in general.
Too many entrances to the hotel, which is hard for a foreigner to orientate initially.
Charged more than whats wrote on the walkout receipt.. like 50 or 60
Historical stylish interior design
no sound proof one night i woke up in the middle of the night twicw coz next door kid was crying u can hear every thing
Extremely small bathroom
We were upgraded to executive level (free hors dourves and cont, breakfast). Great location. Price was ok for the stay. Room was very nice with 2 beds and 2 baths.
Mattresses were dated. Price break would have been nice.
The small room and small bathroom
The rooms and amenities were so well thought out. Plenty of light, comfortable seating and beds, and a functional bathroom... all in beautiful old building with magnificent lobby.
Bed was great and there was no noise from the street so really quit.
My room was quit small and dark so not a lot of daylight.
It was my fiancé's 30th birthday and I supriaes him with a stay at the Palmer House. It was a great location with lots to do in the area! We stayed on the executive level and everything was lovely!
