Location of the hotel and cleaness of the room

Noisy room and we could hear everything from the side room and the hotel corridor. Elevator during checkout time (11:00 a.m) doesn´t work eficciently. Pricely wi-fi

Loved being surrounded by such history and character. The room was great and quite large. Fit our family of four comfortably. Staff was always helpful and friendly and you can't beat the location for access to all the downtown tourist spots. Highly recommend The Palmer House

Parking fees but they are no worse than anyone else around there at 42.00 a day.

The bed looked very small at first because we had booked a double room, but then we slept on it and it was by far the best mattress we had ever slept on! We were on the inside square of the building so we didn't get much sunlight, but that didn't really bother us because we were only in the room for sleeping anyway! The downstairs bar was amazing, Carrie was the best server ever! The lobby itself was absolutely beautiful, and we loved that there was a Starbucks right in the hotel. Location is right near all train and bus routes, and anywhere you need to go you can get to easily from this area. I would definitely stay here again!

Pool was kind of 'underdone' for the hotel, but I suspect most people don't go for the pools in Chicago :)

Excellent location and a classy hotel

Rather small room due likely to when the hotel was built. The double room was very small and such amenities as a refrigerator would have been nice.

I like how old the hotel is and the beautiful decor. Modern meets the 1930s.

Lobby is magnificent. Roomy lovely bedrooms. Courteous and helpful staff--recommended a great place for dinner (Rosebud Prime)

Small bathroom but it really didn't bother us. Also noise from L train but it didn't bother us either.

Lovely old hotel in the loop of Chicago. Close to area attractions. Food was great.

Rooms could use some maintenance. Peeling paint on doors. Floors not very clean. Plumbing fixture in tub falling off.

Internet should be free in the hotel room. Free WiFi was available only in the lobby

The convenience of food places when in a hurry and the location was central to so many destinations we needed to attend.

The beds need to be upgraded and you need to offer queen beds instead of only full.

When we first walked in, it was impressive. Once we went to register and check in our room, it was quick, easy and hassle free. We were on the Executive floor worth a private elevator, so no long waiting to get back and forth from our room. The complimentary breakfast was to our suprise, very very healthy and everything fresh all the way down to the freshly squeezed juice and yogurt. The 5-7pm "mini snack time" was filling worth drinks to purchase as well as non - alcoholic beverages were complimentary. I really really enjoyed our stay in the room being that those two floors are only a year old and completely renovated. The robes in the room would have been a nice "gift" to take home to go with all the other special accommodations lol But not complaining. We'll Def be back!

The view of the building, but still nothing compared to our experience. Wish we had a view of the city.

    Very nice great room

The bar service was very poor. There was not enough wait staff. They were over worked and it showed with the lack of smiles

For such an expensive city we got our room for a fair price! It was an absolutely beautiful hotel and was in a perfect location for what we wanted to do.

The bathrooms had no fan. You could tell the bathroom had moisture build up which made the bathroom a little unclean. Nothing overly horrible though, just more of an observation

The facilities were excellent, I had just stayed in your Anaheim facility, this was certainly 3 steps above that one. I loved the hotel and the city.

This is a stunning, historic hotel. Lobby/bar area is beautiful. The bar food is surprisingly good. The hotel is well situated if you're spending time in the Loop. My room was small but nicely appointed.

Where C. stands for Climate control:excellent! and A. stands for Art: not to be missed are the Peacock doors and much more! and S. stands for sleep: great bed, comforter and linens and H. stands for History: the place has years of it -noticeably-from the b&w photos of famous guests, frescoes on the ceilings, and beautiful furnishings!!

Consigniers- Most were at best brisk, several were rude. Elevators-slow. One cannot be in a hurry but that comes with the history of the hotel which I love
