what i didn't like was that i wasn't told about a 50 dollar per night that i had to put down on incidentals in which i wasn't going to use
Excellent location for those that like to explore the great city of Chicago.
At those rates, $13 per day is a bit much for Wi-fi which is free at an Econo Lodge.
That it is an old landmark and the decor of the rooms has been kept according to the time period for the major part.
The hotel is too big and it feels like a train station in the main areas. It is a beautiful old building that should be more like a boutique hotel, but unfortunately gives you the feeling of being on a cruise ship with 3000 other people. Other ppl. were loud in the hallways after hours at 2 and 3 a.m.
Didn't have assess to Wi-Fi from room
The facilities are wonderful
My room didnt have a view of anything. The window was just facing a brick wall. I would have liked to be told this before hand
We enjoyed the history of the hotel and exploring your great halls and the pool! The staff was very welcoming and made my son feel special he was so excited when we received our room service and that it was just like in the movies and he was called sir.
I was a little disappointed with the bed it's self I would have loved to have had a higher quality mattress but it didn't at all take away from our stay, I was just hoping to pamper my sleep. :)
Wabash St entrance next door to Miller's Pub.
No free wifi
Books wrong type of room. Didnt explain booking throughly. Loud atmosphere.
Everything was great!
Can honestly say nothing was wrong!
I loved the history and elegance of the hotel. The bar area was straight out of a movie. The staff was fantastic, and had everything you would ever need.
We stayed on the executive floor and though perfect location, the hot breakfast was always cold. However, they had a nice variety of breakfast and beverages!
Excellent, staff, room, and service!
Staff most helpful. Gave good recommendations for dining. Walking directions were clear and accurate.
bathroom very very small
location, Architecture, staff, shops and restaurant, interior design of hotel and hotel room, 24 hour fitness center, and pool/Sauna
I love that it was pet friendly ! Great location
As expensive as the hotel already was, they wanted to charge me $40 to use a microwave for 2 minutes
The location is perfect, everything we love is nearby. It is an old, beautiful building yet very up to date classy furnishings. It is also very clean which is very important to me.
The lobby was really beautiful. It is worth to see itself. Room and location were also top level.
NO free wifi
Palmer House certainly has its cache of historical charm, the favourite sanctuary of celebrities. Its location is also excellent
Everything in the regular double is on the small side, and the sounds from the other rooms and the corridor are heard rather too much . Our windows led out to the metro station, so the noise of trains might be a problem in the night.
In general is good. but the room is no free wifi, and parking fee is expensive(self is 45$, valet is 76$).
First time in Chicago didn't know where to stay and everything wS perfect! Thank you
Location, location, location. Good, firm, beds.
The smallish bathrooms have a tiny bath in which to shower. A renovation of the rooms would leave the baths out and just have a more generous shower.
The Palmer House is beautiful and front desk staff were very nice.
I had a terrible nights sleep with a party next door that got out of control and went on to 4 am. Front desk sent security to check on them but never returned after the first time and Inhad to call again at 3:30 am. I think security should go back and check several times when people have loud parties. I was very disappointed for this reason.
THE HOTEL AMMENITIES EVERYTHING I NEEDED WAS THERE . I TRULY ENJOYED MY STAY
Staff was very helpful and recommended places to eat !!
Wifi was terrible so slow
Rep at registration Wadell that made up for inadequacy of bellman also executive floor.
More outdoor bellman Doorman to greet at cars know that when a lady is standing there with luggage help is needed regardless of color. I had to ask twice for assistance and then two bellman we're still socializing
