Location, beautiful common areas, clean comfortable rooms
Front desk "supervisor" was flat out RUDE and unhelpful at check in, small rooms
I like how old the hotel is and the beautiful decor. Modern meets the 1930s.
Lobby is magnificent. Roomy lovely bedrooms. Courteous and helpful staff--recommended a great place for dinner (Rosebud Prime)
Small bathroom but it really didn't bother us. Also noise from L train but it didn't bother us either.
Concierge service was excellent; staff very accommodating & friendly
No refrigerator in the room
Lovely old hotel in the loop of Chicago. Close to area attractions. Food was great.
Rooms could use some maintenance. Peeling paint on doors. Floors not very clean. Plumbing fixture in tub falling off.
the ambience was really cool....especially the reception. Room was quite nice on 21st floor. Overall a great experience
Internet should be free in the hotel room. Free WiFi was available only in the lobby
Easy registration and check out
Beds too small/ should have 2 queens
The convenience of food places when in a hurry and the location was central to so many destinations we needed to attend.
The beds need to be upgraded and you need to offer queen beds instead of only full.
When we first walked in, it was impressive. Once we went to register and check in our room, it was quick, easy and hassle free. We were on the Executive floor worth a private elevator, so no long waiting to get back and forth from our room. The complimentary breakfast was to our suprise, very very healthy and everything fresh all the way down to the freshly squeezed juice and yogurt. The 5-7pm "mini snack time" was filling worth drinks to purchase as well as non - alcoholic beverages were complimentary. I really really enjoyed our stay in the room being that those two floors are only a year old and completely renovated. The robes in the room would have been a nice "gift" to take home to go with all the other special accommodations lol But not complaining. We'll Def be back!
The view of the building, but still nothing compared to our experience. Wish we had a view of the city.
Great location Helpful staff Great value Good size rooms
Pool was very small
The air condition is too low and too hot in morning
Very nice great room
The bar service was very poor. There was not enough wait staff. They were over worked and it showed with the lack of smiles
The history of the building. Location. Staff were very helpful and friendly
Rooms were very small. I understand that it is an older hotel but we felt very cramped. The TV was in a very ackward position.
For such an expensive city we got our room for a fair price! It was an absolutely beautiful hotel and was in a perfect location for what we wanted to do.
The bathrooms had no fan. You could tell the bathroom had moisture build up which made the bathroom a little unclean. Nothing overly horrible though, just more of an observation
This is my second time at the Palmer and this time got a King Suite and it was heavenly!! Everything is perfect! I cant wait to be back again. I luv in Chicago but sometimes you just need a starvation even for a day and the Palmer Hours is the place for that! Thank You!!
The facilities were excellent, I had just stayed in your Anaheim facility, this was certainly 3 steps above that one. I loved the hotel and the city.
This is a stunning, historic hotel. Lobby/bar area is beautiful. The bar food is surprisingly good. The hotel is well situated if you're spending time in the Loop. My room was small but nicely appointed.
Where C. stands for Climate control:excellent! and A. stands for Art: not to be missed are the Peacock doors and much more! and S. stands for sleep: great bed, comforter and linens and H. stands for History: the place has years of it -noticeably-from the b&w photos of famous guests, frescoes on the ceilings, and beautiful furnishings!!
Consigniers- Most were at best brisk, several were rude. Elevators-slow. One cannot be in a hurry but that comes with the history of the hotel which I love
Room was was big with big closets.
Bathroom was very small
What a huge and fancy place great docor
It could be a bit closer to the river
had to leave
Love the location, amenities, and the overall look and feel of the hotel.
Thin walls and noisy neighbors meant sleepless nights.
Great service Bar
