Lovely old hotel in the loop of Chicago. Close to area attractions. Food was great.

Rooms could use some maintenance. Peeling paint on doors. Floors not very clean. Plumbing fixture in tub falling off.

The convenience of food places when in a hurry and the location was central to so many destinations we needed to attend.

The beds need to be upgraded and you need to offer queen beds instead of only full.

When we first walked in, it was impressive. Once we went to register and check in our room, it was quick, easy and hassle free. We were on the Executive floor worth a private elevator, so no long waiting to get back and forth from our room. The complimentary breakfast was to our suprise, very very healthy and everything fresh all the way down to the freshly squeezed juice and yogurt. The 5-7pm "mini snack time" was filling worth drinks to purchase as well as non - alcoholic beverages were complimentary. I really really enjoyed our stay in the room being that those two floors are only a year old and completely renovated. The robes in the room would have been a nice "gift" to take home to go with all the other special accommodations lol But not complaining. We'll Def be back!

The view of the building, but still nothing compared to our experience. Wish we had a view of the city.

    Very nice great room

The bar service was very poor. There was not enough wait staff. They were over worked and it showed with the lack of smiles

For such an expensive city we got our room for a fair price! It was an absolutely beautiful hotel and was in a perfect location for what we wanted to do.

The bathrooms had no fan. You could tell the bathroom had moisture build up which made the bathroom a little unclean. Nothing overly horrible though, just more of an observation

The facilities were excellent, I had just stayed in your Anaheim facility, this was certainly 3 steps above that one. I loved the hotel and the city.

    Nothing.

This is a stunning, historic hotel. Lobby/bar area is beautiful. The bar food is surprisingly good. The hotel is well situated if you're spending time in the Loop. My room was small but nicely appointed.

Where C. stands for Climate control:excellent! and A. stands for Art: not to be missed are the Peacock doors and much more! and S. stands for sleep: great bed, comforter and linens and H. stands for History: the place has years of it -noticeably-from the b&w photos of famous guests, frescoes on the ceilings, and beautiful furnishings!!

Consigniers- Most were at best brisk, several were rude. Elevators-slow. One cannot be in a hurry but that comes with the history of the hotel which I love

We loved the elegance and historic feel of the hotel. It was very convenient to the things we did- concert at United Center, trip to Lincoln Park Zoo, shopping on State St. And seeing Millenium Park.

I would recommend they add a coffee pot and mini fridge to the rooms, and upgrading from double beds to queens. Free WiFi password with check in would have been very helpful.

Loved the location of the hotel. The hotel was very clean and housekeeping staff was great. They made sure I received the extra towels that was requested.

The stay was a surprise for my husband for our anniversary. I requested champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to be brought to the room and front desk stay ensured that it would be sent to the room. The items were never delivered. I didn't fuss about since it wasn't charged to my room. Instead we enjoyed an evening out.
