We loved the lounge area. The hotel was exquisite, bar tenders were a little too busy but friendly. Great hotel, we will be back. Also the ceiling above the louge was beutiful and the peacock doors were so beautiful too.

Nothing!

The Palmer House is a classic older hotel that has been gracefully renovated while keeping its original charm. Room and bath were small but comfortable. We upgraded to the executive floor which was very nice, especially breakfast.

No coffee maker in room. Very small room for the price

Location

Ice machine broken on my floor, went down one floor, also broken. Hot tub advertised online, very disgusting! It had a ring of filth around the blue plastic material it was made from. Very disappointed they even would allow such a low end hot tub to be open at an establishment that is supposed to be nicer.

The location

We were offered a special deal which included breakfast. The breakfast was pathetic as was the whole deal. Everything in this place was an extra charge. I wish we had stuck to our original bookings.

Tracy at the Conceirge desk was amazingly helpful. Housekeeping did a good job keeping the room clean. When there was a discrepancy on the bill, reception checked and saw there mistake and corrected it immediately.

I didn't like that the person that checked us in did not check in the notes that our room rate was less than the standard rate. The billing discrepancy would have never happened if he had checked his notes. When I made the reservation through Booking.com. I asked a couple of questions through e-mail that never received a response. I wish the room had a refrigerator in it.

The Palmer House is a beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

No coffee pot in the room and the restaurant was not open early enough for me. I am an early riser, 4-5am is when I am up and getting ready for the day, I had to walk down the street to the dunkin donuts to get a cup of coffee.

Room was small and wallpaper was starting to curl up.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Palmer House Hilton and returned because it was a very good experience the first time several years ago.

I did feel it was a bit expensive! The valet parking was priced through the roof! I did get talked into up grading our room, and I felt it was not worth the extra money.. I would not do that again.

It was a very nice hotel. The lobby/restaurant is very impressive.

Parking is inordinately expensive. I thought I was getting a good deal on the room, then they charged me 62 dollars a night on parking service. They claimed it was on the website, but I didn't use the website to book this hotel. So really I saved no money whatsoever. In addition to that, when I finally got my car back the windshield and car were dirty. In fact, someone had spit on the trunk of my car. That whole ordeal pretty much ruined my experience and had me leaving with a pretty bad taste in my mouth. In addition to that, the room was nothing very special. The tv was too small and set back too far from the bed. There was no view.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was close to the things we wanted to do. The price through booking.com was affordable.

The movies on demand were outrageously priced. There was no free wi-fi in the room.

The check in was friendly and smooth. The room was trendy and very comfortable. The bath towels were soft and generous. The cleaning staff was courteous. The Starbucks on the lower level was much appreciated by those of us, you need that first cup of real coffee.

The restaurant located in the central foyer is an awkard experience for both diners and arriving guests. I much prefer the earlier layout with sofas for people to sit and admire the decor. Also, the lack of a good breakfast room, such as previously existed with the French Quartier, is much missed.

Great location, plenty of elevators to the floors, quick check-in.

Gym is not for free, so is the wireless (unless you have AT&T).

Overhead light flashed all night 1 night. lamps needed updating. most lamps had nonfunctioning outlets.
