the staff was very friendly and the room was very clean with nice thick towels. So easy to walk and catch the Trimet and go anywhere.
Mattress could have been a little nicer.
Mgmt were extremely helpful and look after our every need. T he motel has been renovated and its very clean and has comfortable beds. Good shower, and no problems at all.
King Room a bit small in the end.
Location location location!
No blankets for the bed. Dam near froze to death. too tired to complain.
everything will come back to stay when in town
The lady at the front
Stains not only on the comforter but also on the warm Lauer and on the sheets. Two dents of all the previous guests in the bed. I would never go back, plus it was expensive for what it was regardless of the stains.
it was a very, nice, clean room and the location was great!
The hot tub in our room and the 2 televisions.
Trying to be rushed out of the room 35 minutes early because someone who booked the roomfor thenext day wanted an early check in time. It was seriously rediculous when they called twice and came and knocked on the door all within about 15 minutes.
neat old vintage hotel in great condition super convenient for the Max line only 1/2 block away. good price and easy stay very clean and smelled very nice
sort of odd shaped room but not bad over all
We are no frills travelers. We pack light and use our lodgings for sleeping, washing up and regrouping before we head back out. The Palms Motel worked perfect!
No bedtime mints on the pillow?
The staff were all very pleasant.
The Bathroom was not the cleanest. The shower was dirty. The fridge did not work well and the carpet looked dirty
This is an easy location to get to and from the city it is on the light rail system and you have two stations close buy one 30 meters away. Staff friendly.
This is an old motel and showing its age. rooms in need of refurbishment but that is why its cheap.
Staff was great!
The price and that it was reasonably close to my daughter's house (whom I was in Portland visiting).
No one is in the office or available by phone for inquiries or requests (one must go to the office and ring the bell and someone eventually appears); I tried to use the phone in the room to call the office to ask for another coffee packet to be delivered, but the phone was not operational. I never saw any housekeeping staff around to ask for the coffee either. Neighborhood is not ideal for walking around in (I like to walk for exercise).
This motel was right by the yellow rail, making it really easy to get downtown. It was clean, quiet, and very very cheap! We loved our stay here and will return!
The room was very small, which didn't bother me, but some people may not like that. The bathtub got a little stopped up too, but overall it wasn't bad.
Clean, functional, close to the trimet.
Since it's close to the trimet, there's some noise from the trains, but for the price of the room, i'm happy.
Close to streetcars, free parking
The place felt a bit old.
Close to max and downtown is a quick ride away! Old and worn motel but they keep it clean. Great staff. Thin walls. Great for a fun getaway with friends who just need a room for sleeping at night. Wouldn't recommend to families or people on business trips looking for peace and quiet.
I thought it was perfect for what I needed.
Good value for the price
Clean and excellent location. Easy to walk to N. Mississippi and walk to public transit max Yellow line lrt literally just "next door" if you want to get downtown or anywhere else on the line and its an easy drive to N. Alberta St.
Basci cable sucked, but that'snot why we chose it. Just bring an ipad for Netflix for the kids.
Ants in the shower, no wifi, no closet, cable was restricted to tv-14
Good value for the price.
Lack of body lotion and inadequate soap.
everythang...staff was rhude nosey nasty
Good location near the highway, good view across a small valley. Great people, very nice.
Where do I start? bad service, bad Wi-Fi, a long hold on my card, difficult area to get in and out of, Definitely not worth the $$$$.
