The Palms Hotel & Spa  

Hôtel location was perfect especially if you end up staying during spring break or any music festival! At least we could enjoy the beach and pool during the day and didn t have the loud music and people next door as was the case with other big hotels down in south beach! Staff, beach service, garden were great!

The automatic 18% gratuity charge on top of everything, hotel fees and other charges on top of price mentionned on booking. No other nice restaurants close to hotel, have to walk down south beach but could be much appreciated if noisy!

Bar prices way too high

I liked that we had direct beach access.

I wish it were a little closer to the bar and restaurant area (Ocean Drive), it would have been nice to have a shuttle to and from the airport. It would be nice to have a bar on the premises that is open late. The staff was nice, but it took 12 hours to bring toothpaste up and the hotel rooms were nice, but I have seen better. To me it was an ok hotel, not great, but not terrible either.

The pool will palm trees, flowers, hammocks, and cabanas was incredible. Nice setup on the beach as well. Location was nice - not down in the crazy South Beach scene just north of it all.

Drinks were way too expensive. 14 to 25 dollars a drink is crazy. Best to brink your own liquor/beer/wine and save 100s. Room service menu was obviously different in the kitchen than in the rooms. Ordered to times and they had different food get delivered along with different prices.

I liked the hotel staff and the service they provided. The hotel staff made our stay extremely enjoyable and comfortable. The hotel staff was so friendly and the service was excellent. It was very clean. I chose it because it is on the beach and it does not have a crazy atmosphere. I would definitely go back.

The only think we didn't like was the noisy construction next door and a couple of times we were billed from the pool/beach bar charges that were not ours.

The location to our conference and the beautiful gardens and nearness to the ocean shore. Fantastic hotel!!

The staff were outstanding - they made sure we had a good time, weather we were in the hotel relaxing or outside the hotel soaking in Miami nightlife.The city view room we initially booked was small for 3 people so we paid extra and upgraded to an ocean view room - very comfortable.

It was a bit quiet - perfect for couples and families not 3 lads like us. The location was on miami beach but the address led us to believe it was on south beach - situated away from all the main nightlife of Miami.

Fantastic ocean view, great private beach with sun chairs and bar service. Grand lobby with relaxing piano music,lush garden and veranda giving you a feeling of true luxury. Very proffesional staff, valet parking outstanding. New fresh towels for the beach was a blessing.

The Essensia Restaurant was expensive with a limited menu. Sunday BBQ was a dissapointment, food was below what you would expect from a 4* hotel and a price tag of $30 pp, sausages and beef burgers ought to be replaced with beef cooked on the grill. Allthough breakfast was excellent it ought to have a less expensive option that offers a continental breakfast for guests that are not used to eat dinner at breakfast.

I like to be at this hotel because it's the only one that has a green area in South Beach.

I don't like that I can open the windown of my bedroom.

The room was really nice and clean, the beach was amazing! As well as the Spa. I really had a wonderful time in this hotel.

The staff was very efficient and very friendly

3rd time in the Hotel. this time the hotel was full but i had no problem.
