Well appointed room incl micro, Keurig & mini fridge. Continental bkfst, wine & cheese & all day coffee and tea on 2nd fl. Robes, slippers & free wi-fi. But the best were the staff who were all friendly and helpful. Extremely well run hotel.
Bathroom a little small for two people, but really not an issue.
Location, high tech bathroom, clean rooms, complimentary breakfast, wine and cheese at 4, comfortable bed, free wifi, doorman very friendly
No dedicated valet parking spot in front of the hotel
The staff were extremely helpful, the rooms were plush & luxurious & the location was fab. Would definitely book a stay in the pearl again- a fabulous hotel
They made us feel welcome and important .The location was superb with Times Square, Theatres and Subways around both corners and wine and nibbles each afternoon. Top value for money.
AC a little noisy
When next I need to stay in the city I'll probably look for the Pearl
I got spoiled by the terrace I had the first time I stayed at the pearl and I kind of expected it this last stay.
Big rooms.Good location.
Poor breakfast.Bad pillows.Small lobby. Overbooking in the first night. Forced to sleep 5 in a room.
Great location, clean rooms, and breakfast was good...complementary wine and crackers late afternoon was a good way to speak to other travellers.
The air conditioner in our room, was so loud, it felt like a train was about to come through our room..it kept us up during the night
The location in Mid Manhattan is perfect for exploring NYC. Rooms clean and very good size. Complimentary cheese and wine daily.
Friendly staff, good location, sound proof rooms, clean, free & fast wifi
Breakfast, common areas (very small lobby & breakfast room), the noicy rooms in the 2nd floor (although the next day we were provided rooms in the 5th room)
Comfort, luxury good sized room for New York, fabulous beds and location
Breakfast very basic and no room to sit down to eat it. A couple of the reception girls, whilst helpful, didn't really seem to want to be there but not a big deal. Having said that, wouldn't hesitate in staying here again, a real gem
Friendly staff. Constant tea, coffee, snacks. Nice quiet room. Comfortable. Great air conditioning, Wi fi, clean, great location. Safe in room. Great buffet breakfast.
The Pearl is right in the middle of Times Square and walking distance to Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Central Park. The hotel staff were outstanding, friendly and helpful. Wine and cheese hour provided by the hotel was a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable and for being in the middle of everything you could hardly hear the city noises from your room. We enjoyed our stay very much and the hotel made our first time to New York City that much more memorable.
My only complaint is the little tv in the bathroom didn't work. Wasn't that big a deal as it was a luxury we really needed to use, but probably would have just because if it did.
We stayed at the Pearl as part of our 35 wedding anniversary our room was upgraded to a King with balcony, The staff were very friendly and so helpful, and we would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to anyone intending to visit NYC
breakfast set up room in general
room view comfort of beds parking costs
Everything - location / staff / rooms / comfort
I liked having a keurig, microwave and fridge in the room. I also liked the lit makeup mirror , TV and an excellent tub/shower.
The hotel was full and the breakfast area definitely needed more attention from the staff in terms of replenishing food and providing seating.
This hotel is truly a very good hotel and I would not look at another hotel in New York it is the best you will get by miles thank you to all the staff for making my stay great.
Spacious room, nice bathroom accesories, welcome fruit and drink in the lobby.
Breakfast was poor, and no normal dining tables. Loud noise from the street even after mindnight could be heared.
Small hotel felt like the staff really knew us and looked after us! Very informed any courteous. No waiting just quick service!!!
The room was special and the location is brilliant
We had to leave too soon
The car barking is 3 blocks a way from the hotel . At the check-in . I could not checked in until 4 p.m . The check-out . It was 12 p.m and some one knocked my door . One of the staff and she told me with a rud attitude that it's 12.05 . And I have to leave the room . It was only 5 minuts . Even that I requested a late check-out but I have not received a conformation from the hotel . The thing is it was the first time that someone knock your door and told me to leave the room , knowing that it is only 5 minuts late . Very bad experance
Location was fantastic and service in accommodating our room requirements for our 11 month old son, the young girl at reception was absolutely fantastic!
No New movies to purchase or watch
A couple blocks away from the craziness of Time Square. Hotel is nice, but there are no views of the city (if that's important). Great if your seeing a show. The rooms are large enough for a family of four. The wifi service was lacking, so not a great option if you need to do business.
