We like the soft comfort of the room as it is very relaxing. The staff is always very courteous and attentive.
Nothing not to like, but this time there was no bottled water upon arrival. My wife asked the staff the next morning and they immediately placed some extra bottles.
There is not one negative thing I could say about our stay. They made my 5 year old son feel like a King for the wknd! Gianna (sp) (concierge) is 5 STAR! We would never stay anywhere else :)
Nothing...just leaving on Sunday to head home. Ha!
Everything, this is just one great hotel! Great staff.
Very clean, updated bathroom with a spotless shower, comfy bed, spotless carpet, fresh smell in the room, great lighting with dimmers on all switches. Staff was wonderful, extremely courteous..
Very, very expensive food in the lobby. Good food but very pricey.
Everything in this hotel
Thermostat telling me the outside temperature! Nice touch.
In room printer was broken. Concierge slow to respond. Had to call again and tried housekeeping, and they came quickly and resolved the issue. Difficult to figure out how to turn off "night lights" under the bed end tables. Needed to go to front door and turn off master switch in order to get the room totally dark.
Cleanliness and comfortable.
What's not to like? From first minute to last, we enjoyed our stay and the unexpected-but-appreciated upgrade to a Junior Suite. We'll be back!!
If I HAD to find something negative to say about this place, I'd say that they need more outlets for charging devices in the room. When you're a family with numerous devices that you apparently can't live without, you need more than one spare outlet. This was a minor flaw overall, however!
The staff and service couldn't have been more friendly. The hotel is conveniently located near most attractions and the concierge was most helpful in suggesting sites to visit and arranging reservations.
This property is gorgeous! And the best part is the staff is amazingly warm & friendly. The location in Chicago is perfect. We felt like royalty!!
Felt very pampered!
the friendless of all the staff
I spend a lot of time in hotels, and this was the best I've stayed in for a while. Beautiful bespoke furnishings in the rooms and inventive, cool bars, restaurants and open spaces that give this place an air all of its own and belonging perhaps to an era before the rise of the monotonous chain hotel.
That won't be back in Chicago to stay here again sooner.
This is the best property I have stayed in for a very long time. As someone who was in the convention and trade show business I have stayed in quite a number of properties and The Peninsula rates among the best in the world. I am excited to see they are opening a property in Paris. I hope to be there in the Fall.
I have no complaints.
Fantastic in every way.
The staff's attention to detail
The staff was very kind and easy to talk to.
The staff were just great, the conceirge and the housekeeping did a fabulous job!
Decor is a bit outdated, but still very comfy.
nice location best service
good comfortable hotel in a great location
too many restrictions, wanted to have lunch in the lobby and they said, they were setting up for some other service, really? not used to this from a five star hotel!
Everything fascinating!!! The food from Shanghai Terrace is very authentic. We also taste the afternoon tea, the scone is really nice. It's a pity that we didn't have the Sunday brunch over there, but we will definitely come back and enjoy it.
