I liked the big beds and comfortable atmosphere. Location was amazing, close to everything on the market street strip. The room wasn't as clean as I expected but just litttle things like a hair in the grains of the towel and a stain on the comforter. Other than that nothing wrong. |

The convenience of it's downtown San Francisco location, and the value of being half the price of other downtown hotels. Old school, but definitely cool... |

The staff were very helpful and the location was great. The parking was one of the cheapest I found attached to the hotel @ $32 per day. I also booked a Standard Room and was upgraded. Early check in was not a problem, just caused additional parking fees when checking out the car (nothing to do with hotel) The rooms definitely need refurbishment. The paint on the bath itself was peeling away so was unable to have any baths. The rooms definitely need re-painting. |

It was only a short walk to the cable cars, shopping, and the Yerba Buena gardens. The room was kept very clean and the staff was very helpful. I only wish they had decaf coffee with their in room coffee makers. |

This was probably the worst hotel I have stayed in and it was totally over priced. I felt very unsafe in the area of the hotel, the room was very cramped, outdated, with unsafe electrics. In my opinion this hotel would be closed down by Health & Safety if it was located in the UK. |

Location is excellent. Room was clean and of medium size. I requested a quiet room so I do not have any complaints about noise. Hotel wouldn't let me settle the bill early, which is really weird! The hot water in the shower fluctuates all the time which makes it quite annoying. |

The relatively affordable price, considering it is in the heart of downtown San Francisco. The staff, cleanliness, and comfortable rooms. Business center could use another computer; faster internet connection. |

great location. I would have liked it if the hairdryer worked. Although I asked for a replacement it never came.I would have been helpful to have something in the room that said what the services were of the hotel. There was no chest of drawers or any drawrs to put your clothes in. |

Rather large hotel, worth the money. Clean room, however rather noisy especially the bathroom. Free wireless internet and two internet stations in the business center ($5 for 20 minutes). Breakfast available (not free of charge). Very close to bart station at Powel street, walking distance to Union Square. |

the location was nice and central and some of the staff were nice and friendly. yes our hotel room was very shabby as in the paint and plaster was peeling off the walls and ceiling which gave the room a very unsightly appearance. Also there was not a mini bar/fridge in our room and it says on hotel website that rooms have them. Also no safe |
