The hotel is so central to everything, the hotel staff were friendly, the room I stayed in overlooked the San Francisco Chronicle which was great for James Patterson fans! The hotel is a little older, but perfect for the price and location It did get a little noisy at night with traffic and people milling around out front |

It was a very nice stay with a room that had all the amenities one does like while travelling. As well room service as front desk were extremely polite and helpful, the room spotless clean. The "antique" flair is well preserved and we could not find the area dangerous in any way like another comment stated. |

The central location. The very loud motor of the in-room refrigerator !! We had to call the front desk at 1am in the morning as we didn't know what was making this noise and could not sleep. |

The staff were generally helpful. Our room was rather small and there were no drawers to put personal items in. The A/C "banged" at irregular intervals. Staff in the restaurant had problems speaking English. |
