Loved the details in our room--crown moulding, large bathroom with cool french-like doors and amazing shower head, loved the balcony too. The beach area was great but it was windy when we were there & we loved the heated pool! With the little bar/food area right there, life just doesn't get any better! Jacuzzi was very nice, too, just a little too warm- Only that the food was almost too fancy for us---overly spiced or something.

The location was perfect on Key West. Close to everything. Once we were upgraded to a less noisy room, I thought the facilities were wonderful. Smaller room was not good value for the price. Guess it all evened out. First room was right near the truck delivery area and we were bombarded by diesel smalls, truck engines, back-up beeping, air brakes, etc. for about 3 1/2 hours one morning.

The location was good and convenient for attractions, resturants etc in Key West. Parking was adequate and free. The room was comfortable. I was disappointed that the room I was given did not have a balcony.Although I had not specfically requested a balcony or sea view I had anticipated that all rooms had some kind of view and a balcony Very few rooms at the hotel had a view of the sunset and no public rooms provided a view of the sunset dispite the hotel being ideally situated to provide this. It was necessary to leave the hotel to view the sunset

Beautiful resort, well located near the idyllic port of Key West and close to Duvall St. The staff was very helpful and polite. The room we got had a mixed view on the garden and the parking lot, however this shouldn't frighten you at all because the overall impression is still relaxing and exotic. The private beach area, however small, was quite enjoyable and the beach/pool service is very good and democratically priced. I would definitely want to come back here again! There is no breakfast service or buffet, room service only. On the bright side, it is worth the money!

The hotel has the single best location in Key West. And although it is an older hotel, it is impeccably maintained and much more interesting than the cookie-cutter international hotels nearby. We had no complaints whatsoever about the Pier House. In fact, we are planning to return in just a couple of months. It was a great experience.

An oasis of tranquility close to a very noisy Main Street (Duval Str). The hotel gardens are amazing!! The small pretty private beach of this hotel in busy Key West added to our pleasure. Parking is free and is on the hotel grounds!

Excellent location in Key West close to shops entertainment etc Comfortable room and bed with good range of features Restaurant very good Staff in restaurant very efficient and friendly Disappointing that swimming pool not available Confusion over booking and specific request for sea view room ( despite confirming 1 day before arrival that we would get this as we had " been ugraded at same price " ) we spent 1st night in ( small but excellent ) room overlooking car park and only relocated to sea view room next day for extra charge

Only the location (central). Solo la centralità del resort. English: Yes. Dirty room and air conditioning system old and very noisy (impossible to sleep). Low quality shutters and curtains: impossible to prevent the light from spreading all over the room early in the morning. We have paid for high quality structure and received low quality standard. Italiano: Si. Stanza sporca e sistema di aria condizionata vecchio e molto rumoroso (impossibile dormire). Impossibile oscurare le finestre: la mattina molto presto entrava tantissima luce. Pessimo rapporto qualità/prezzo: abbiamo pagato per alti standard di qualità e non li abbiamo trovati neanche nella media...davvero pessimi!

All was great. Design, comfort, large room with huge shower... Excellent place, excellent location, excellent choice we did. Restaurant is the bad point. We had a dinner to take profit of the sunset. Food was clearly bad. Cheese or cream or both in every meal... The only deceiving point of this great hotel.

The Pier House Resort is not cheap, but you absolutely get what you pay for. The room I stayed in wasn't a water view, but I didn't need it. It had its own private veranda overlooking the parking lot -- but the parking lot looks like a page out of a tropical paradise. A private beach is a wonderful plus in a place as crowded as Key West, and the location is perfect, at the end of Duval Street, right next to Mallory Square. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I will be sure to book here again on my next trip to Key West.

The single best thing about this hotel is the private beach!! If you are planning to go to Key West and spend a lot of time on the beach this hotel could be a good option. Staff at the beach and the related bars was very helpful. That parking was included in the room rate was also very good. Location is also a plus since the hotel is at the end of Duvall Street and all bars and restaurants but in a quiet area. The hotel is rather old and not very well kept, especially for the level of prices asked. Our room (Lanai Room, n 191) was rather small and very different from the picture shown on the website, and the bathroom (although recently renewed) very basic, the terrace was a 1 square meter lot with palms and thick vegetation very close to the window obscuring light from coming into the room. Although the hotel is situated in a quiet area the walls are thin and we were constantly woken up by people walking in the corridor or by people hanging out at one of the bars. I also did not appreciate the 12.50% additional room tax which appears to be normal in Key West but that was not flashed out sufficiently on the website when we booked the room. All in all, the hotel is too expensive for the service and the rooms it provides.

The location was great and the luxury of the rooms was fantastic. The staff was always courteous and gave us plenty of time to check out late. All around great time. Food at the hotel superb. I didn't care for our lack of view, but given our last minute reservation during high season, it was understandable.

The location was very good and the staff were very helpful. This hotel doesn't have a private beach as advertised unless you want to call a 10-feet stretch of sand as a beech. So I felt duped by the promotional advertisement.
