We booked this hotel for the Fitness Center - we needed a good workout and a sauna before our flight. It was PERFECT. I would go back just for the Fitness Center. Also loved the free WiFi and large flat screen TV. Good beds with excellent pillows and down comforters.
The hotel is rather warm - we actually turned on the airco to cool down in December.
Friendly and helpful staff
Location of hotel
My room was comfortable.
No room service or timely housekeeping which i found very surprising for a raddisson hotel. Particularly the inefficient housekeeping. I had to complain about being woken up after returning from a day of meetibgs at 5.30pm because someone forgot to clean and make my bed that day! That does not happen at raddisson, from my experience anyway.
Very clean and quiet
resturants and bar not open in the afternoon when i arrived hungry and thirsty!!!
We arrived late and have been travelling for 24hrs. We found the staff and management team to be very helpful and even though we arrived around midnight we were still able to get food. The manager even ordered the food for us and the bed was extra comfy too.
Close to the airport with shuttle bus.
Dinner is acceptable. Not a decent one.
The smile of the people at the reception desk
Bell hop who helped me in the morning was nice. Shuttle drivers were nice.
No bell service late at night. Manager who carried bags seemed impatient. Manager and employees argue a lot in front of customers. Front desk staff rude. I had been told that plenty of delivery places are 24 hours (before I checked in) it turns out that this isn't the case. There was a dirty washcloth on the floor near the two upholstered chairs.
Wi-Fi was excellent
having been on a plane for the best part of 15 hours I was very irritated that the shuttle bus did not appear after one hour. The Crowne Plaza shuttle gave me a lift. !!! There had two buses running and one was involved in an accident. When I finally arrived at the hotel 2 buses were parked up.
Close to airport
Not enough tea, coffee, cups, milk, no coffee machine, not enough towels for the money your paying these things should be in the room
All staff extremely friendly and helpful
Very noisy, noise from outside and aircon
Very close to airport.easy to get to subway for Manhattan.good gym nice bar and resturant .
You are tied to hotel for social,no local bars or resturants . Felt safe while out running, but after dark don't know??.
This was one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in in NewYork
close to airport. Free shuttle. Good solution to spend one night between two flights.
i come late i get lost about 1:00 pm and isleep tow ouers and i went to the airport.
From management and cleaning staff they were very helpful friendly
Staff where very friendly, room was nice, bed was comfortable!'
Wifi was slow and kept loosing it, close to JFK but that's it....lucky I had a car
First of all, I like location very close to JFK airport. Handsome staff in reception.
I didn't like staff in restaurant because when I arrived I asked 1 tea bag and sugar for my 2 years older daughter from one lady in restaurant. That lady was very root with me and she told me that I have a free tea bags in my room other vise I need to pay 2$ dollar for 1 tea bag. The day before I was staying in other hotel in Times Square where tea and coffees free for every customers.
Room very noisy
Lack of sound proofing ...
the bed was very comfortable, we were on the 11th floor so it was quiet, the staff were helpful and friendly, we had booked early so we got an excellent room rate
the hotel is looking tired here and there, such as skirting boards and general decor, the restaurant is small and badly lit, there were too many of us trying to board the 0500hrs shuttle to the airport - why not ask in advance so they know how many they have to transport?
food - veg stir fry very poor.. queen beds too small
Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Free shuttle from JFK
Staff were arguing to the point of yelling at each other at the front desk; very unprofessional and uncomfortable. Airport shuttle was free, but it was very dirty and run down. Not a good first impression of the hotel. Our flight was cancelled and we were in a bind for a room on short notice. $349 for one night is robbery for this room but we had no choice. For some reason rooms were very hard to come by. Oh well , supply and demand.
