I had a concern with a hotel policy when booking - they went above and beyond in fixing the issue, definitely exceeded my expectations and set a great tone.
Living area needed one more easy chair.
You are paying for the location. We had much larger and better accommodation near Sea World and in Kissamee. We thought this would be two nice evenings of relaxation after attending my father's funeral in Ocala before heading home. Boy, were we disappointed.
everything was fine
room service will not clean room, only taking trash, replace towels, but not for last day
shuttle service and having the hot tub and pool
no stove in the small suite ???
Stayed here for one week in September with Wife and older Son.Loved the apartment on 12th floor.Could see the fireworks at Disney at night.Great kitchen.Large fridge.Washing machine etc.Friendly helpful staff. Will be back.
That stay wasn't longer!
Hotel is spotless and the staff are very helpful, the location is central for universal, international drive close to the main routes to the airport and Disney.
Housekeeper offered and did add extra mattress on the sleeper sofa and brought up extra towels upon request. Location is good.
Extra resort fees greatly increase your cost. In suites, there is no ice available without going to the desk and getting the small ice bucket filled. We had four people booked and only got coffee, towels, etc. for 3 people (if you want coffee after the first day, you must pay, so bring your own Keurig pods). Would not waste time on the overpriced breakfast. Only one of two elevators working and took over 20 minutes at 1am. Those little things mean alot to a traveler --- I have stayed in multiple resorts in Orlando, this was not my favorite.
Location, pool & spa, full kitchen, comfy bed
Breakfasts (over priced), weak shower
Staff, room, hotel
The mattress was too soft for me, might have been old, not sure.
The facility was well maintained and clean. We had clean towels and sheets daily.
Please do not arrive to early for arrival, as you will not get into your room until the appointed time. This was an inconvenience for us as we were driving from Ohio over night.
The clock radio sounded like a Geiger meter when not in use. There was a hum from the street lamp all night and was very bright. Requested chairs on the balcony and never received. Second night our key no longer worked, went downstairs to get it working again and found that we were transferred to another floor without being told.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice big quiet suite with all the kitchen facilities you would need. 2 minute drive to I drive.
Not much but breakfast area could have been a bit larger.
Suite was excellent. Pool area was great.Food at pool bar was lovely and very good value for money.
lack of resteraunt to eat breakfast in was annoying. Very little choice compared to other hotels in Orlando. Been given your dishes for breakfast was not suitable as you had to use same bowl twice. Only area that I saw to eat food was pool area which was no good when it was raining.
The room was a god size. The hotel was clean. The reception staff were helpful.
Décor is a little shabby with stains on carpet and scratches on furniture. Poolside view rooms come with music till 11pm whether you want it or not. Location means a 10 minute walk to International Drive on quiet, poorly lit streets which are not pedestrian friendly.
Had a new feel, very clean and kept up. Staff was very nice and helpful. Beautiful views. Was able to lay in bed and watch the magic kingdom fireworks.
Needs more parking. Parking on grass/mud took away from the appeal of the resport.
Big rooms Well equiped Easy parking Washing machine and dryer Central
the only thing i did not like was that I had booked for 4 people with breakfast and there was only breakfast for 2 people included and i was not expecting to have to pay extra for the childrens breakfast each morning
I would strongly recommend the Point Orlando Resort to anyone staying in the Orlando area, after a two week stay in the resort I felt very sad to have to leave! From the moment of our arrival to our departure the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location was ideal, as it was within walking distance to nearby attractions but was also nicely tucked away from any traffic or noise. Our room was fantastic, we had all the comfort and luxury of staying at a hotel and all the convenience and facilities of renting an apartment. The resort suited our needs and met our requirements beyond our expectations. We were impressed by the daily high level of housekeeping. We would go back in a heartbeat!
There was nothing that I disliked about the resort, in the hallways the carpets and walls were a bit scruffy and could do with fixing, although the resort informed us they were laying new carpets during our stay it didn't seem to occur so it would appear to be a work in progress
The greeter at the desk was extremely nice.
The lower walls and baseboards needed some touch up on the paint.
Good location, good gym and pool and the suite type accommodation was good. The access to the shuttle service to the parks was a good feature.
The breakfast area was cramped and with limited options. More space needed for breakfast. The information about transport options could have been more forthcoming, we had to ask a few times before we were told about the I shuttle etc.
Very close to universal studios and appreciated the free shuttle giving us a saving on petrol + $18 car park fee.
Rooms were spacious and pool area was nice.

Clean hotel with a nice pool and bar. Friendly staff
We were told we were getting an upgrade and what we would be getting because our room wasn't available.. Then when manager came over she snipped at staff member because she offered upgrade without consulting her first . Awkward and irritating situation
The rooms were spacious and quite cool. The kids had space to play. The kitchen was fully equipped and the staff were quite friendly. I believe I got very good value for the amount I paid.
The breakfast can be much better in terms of variety. Also the bathroom faucets needs to be inspected and fixed.
