Score from 62 reviews Very good
A very comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Unpretentious. Close to Mass MOCA. Good free breakfast.
Couldn't get connected to WIFI.
tacky furniture. town has little to recommend it. linking together a bunch of refurbished row houses could be charming but this just felt icky.
Very friendly atmosphere. Guests and staff enjoying themselves. Bring swimsuit even in winter for hot tub and heated pool. Inn cat Sabine can be won over with assiduous attention.
Porches is always clean and relaxing. They always offer nice touches to make you feel comfortable and welcome.
Incredible staff, very nice property, great services, bathroom was excellent.
Stiff bed, room was less exciting than bathroom, breakfast was good but a bit disorganized.
We loved it, and were impressed by the creative, historically-sensitive renovation to the property.
Close to mamoma Rooms were cool and hip Understated Well designed
Nice cool design, confortabile and orginal
Breakfast area is too smalto and comfort alle, insufficiente staff
The pool and tub were great. The place was very clean; the staff was helpful. The bed was very comfortable.
There was quite a bit of noise, especially around 6 - 7 AM. Some of it was banging doors. It's unreasonable for people leaving not to make some noise, but perhaps the insulation could be a little better. Aside from that it was a great 2 nights.
History of mill worker homes Retro style and decor Hipster vibe Very capable and nice staff Nice breakfast and newspapers Excellent facilities and comfort Cleanliness and attention to detail Total lack of pretension Calico cat!
Staff talking loudly and/or listening to AM radio in the kitchen during breakfast... Nothing else!
Decor Breakfast fabulous
Everything except breakfast.
Breakfast room far too small. Crowded and not the relaxed morning experience one wants!
The Inn was well appointed, with charming furnishings and a very pretty pool and lounging area out back. Parking was adequate (but not plentiful).
The staff was not attentive to our reservation and made a mistake in which room they assigned to us. They did not offer to correct it, but as we were staying with another member of our family, we corrected it ourselves and subsequently needed to instruct the front desk as to our correction so that the appropriate prices would be applied. The Hotel itself is on a fairly busy thoroughfare, and traffic noise was substantial beginning early in the morning. The breakfast room was crowded with a shortage of seats. Families took up much of the space leaving much less for couples or singles requiring smaller tables. Breakfast food was ordinary and staff tried, but couldn't keep up with demand for food, dishes and utensils. All in all, for the substantial price we paid, the experience was less that satisfactory.
The building was very quaint, clean and bright. We spent two days in the area, hiking and visiting the MoCA and had a wonderful time. The breakfast was wonderful, and delicious with fresh ingredients and a large variety of healthy and nutritious food.
Not being able to spend more time!
Proximity to Mass MoCA Rooms are large and airy
Breakfast room is too small and crowded
Proximity to Mass Moca. Well located near Williamstown, the Clark Museum and other Berkshires attractions.
Stairs outside al the fronts of buildings and inside, to the 2nd floor rooms, very difficult. Minimal, over- worked staff. Breakfast room too small and constant running out of food. Pool and grounds poorly maintained.
The hotel is pleasant and comfortable but nothing special to warrant the luxury price. The marketing way oversells it. The breakfast room is small, cramped and crowded, and the breakfast offerings are limited, not a full breakfast. There's a small pool, jacuzzi and sauna, not much else in the way of amenities. Certainly not a luxurious hotel.
The rooms were lovely & quaint. Rooms were well appointed
Location was not Scenic
Liked the option to have the complimentary breakfast delivered to your room in the morning with newspaper. LOVED the hot tub and pool and the all-night hours. Staff was very helpful with directions and restaurant/hiking suggestions.
We stayed in the yellow building and it was very loud in the mornings with tons of kids running around downstairs & people getting breakfast. It wasn't too bad though. Enjoyed this overall!
It was charming, clean, welcoming, and all around lovely. The staff was very helpful. The coffee and breakfast was fabulous. I couldn't have been happier with my stay.
I loved everything
We loved the old time feel through-out the buildings and the history displayed on the walls. It was a pleasure to stay there!
a little hard to navigate arrival in the dark...
Everything. The staff was lovely - friendly but not overbearing, the room and buildings were beautifully designed and comfortable, and there were many thoughtful details. Breakfast in bed, delivered to our room in a cute metal lunchbox, sealed the deal.
pool, spa and comfortable bed great front desk help(jeff)
Friendly stuff, great location, comfortable rooms, great value.
The hotel is a bit too big to be perfect. But at least it is affordable.
