We were told the hotel was remodeled, but the room we were given was so bad we refused to accept it. The next room a little better but still dumpy for Las Vegas and especially for the money I paid. I checked out early to get a better place to stay.
Manager went out of his way to accommodate us when we added extra days and then had to reschedule our flight as well.
Like all renovations there is noise but we managed.
Charged for an early check in plus the hotel was a construction zone. The rooms and hallsways and elevetors were nasty, carpet was dirty. Room looked like it hasn't been fixed in 50 yrs. Old furniture, carpet, no clock. Our room was also facing the loud outside food court where live band performed until 4am!
Central to everything in Las Vegas. Easy to get around without a car, busses all around. Clean good comfort. Good parking if you are driving in to Las Vegas. Casino all around you, and good places to eat out in the street in walking distance.
Work all around you. Rebuilding the whole thing, starts early morning at 6 AM over your head.
+ Location + 24 hour check in desk
- We booked a non-smoking room and when we arrived they said that there were no non-smoking rooms left. We had to stay a night in a smoking room for 1 night until we could change the next morning. My clothes then smelled of smoke and my wife (who has asthma) struggled to breath when walking through the hallway. - Only get wifi for one device per room - Beware of extra resort charges (c.$24 per night) on top of the booking.com fees - Renovations going on so the pool wasn't available. This wasn't made clear on booking.com - Doesn't look ANYTHING like the picture. Resort is actually run down and old looking.
Location is center strip..that's it..
We stay at the quad religiously, however, we will not stay there again. They have sealed of the balconies without noting it anywhere on website or when booking. Super increased prices...quality does not match high prices at all. Will not stay here again.
Location, that's it
Construction started at 6 am, Resort fees for closed pool, Nonexistent ceiling - wires and pipes exposed, no fridge in room, torn carpets, wallpaper falling off walls, smells.
staff was great. organized. Great location. Walk every where. Stay if you will only use room to get ready.
The rooms are old carpet is nasty old. Nothing to do w it being clean its just what it is.
It's dirty and dusty, still being renovated while being open. It was very disappointing.
this is a very old hotel and new linens do not make up for limited elevator access and poor dining.
The Location was perfect for what I needed.
The hotel was nearing the end of a remodel. They should have closed the entire place down. The first room we were given reeked of vomit and the carpet was soaking wet. The room that I had reserved was not available. I was not a groupon customer but felt I was treated as The second room was acceptable. I have never stayed in a hotel w/o coffee or a microwave in the room. Service was minimal and the staff all looked like they were at the end of their endurance. The matress had springs that were exposed. Overall it was a very poor experience. fortunately I didn't spend very much time in the room.
Price, Location and facilities.
Parking is too far from the hotel and it's quite confusing to get there. Not enough lighting/lamps at the room (too dark).
The location was the only thing going for it.
There are not enough characters to write everything. But the worst was the awful stink in the hallway and room. It reeked of cigarette smoke. Just absolutely horrific. Will never ever step into this hotel again.
The room was fairly clean for an Old room.
1. The hotel renovation was only half done. 2. Two elevators weren't sufficient for the guest, especially when one was only working part of the time. 3. Room carpet needed replaced. 4. The room view was great, if you love looking at trash on roofs and pigeon poop.
hotel being renovated. no signs telling you where to check in.
I'm amazed that the hotel was even open. I had to walk through a hard hat area full of welding and open elevator shafts to get to the checkin spot. And from there proceed upstairs where the carpet was torn up and paint peeling off the walls. After getting in my stain filled room I soon discovered that my slider did not close or open at all so I had to listen to the non stop party out front by the strip. Will never stay again
We liked The Quad for the price & being so close to other popular locations & lots of food venues.
The shower & sink water goes down slowly. This needs the attention of a plumber.
Wifi Refregerator Breakfast
Being a rewards member, I got to check in at an early time without a fee.
The welcoming staff was a bit condescending when I was checking in since I physically did not have my rewards card with me. So I asked if they could check their system to verify my it. Fortunately, the Registration staff took over and handled the situation efficiently.
It's a little run down, not too bad though.
Just about everything.
The view lol
This hotel has been under construction for what seems like forever...longer than it takes some facilities that are 3-4 times it size to complete from ground up. The hallway and room smelled like rotting meat which made all of our clothes smell bad as well. I understand it's under constriction but the smell was awful
Affordable, convenient and super location.
At first, didn't find my reservation (I show screen print from Booking.com with confirmation number). After five min problem was actually solved. But after four my previous visits (Imperial Palace, and later Quad), have problem to find my name in database, look very strange...
