We arrived very late and were given a small room on the 4th floor overlooking the street. It was so noisy we couldn't sleep. After speaking with the staff they upgraded us to a nice corner room on the 12th floor and we slept well for the rest of our stay. The hotel is rated 5 stars. I would not agree with this rating, it is in my opinion a 4.5 star. They are trying but need to offer more facilities, spa, massages etc, or at least be able to arrange this. Does not have the feel of other 5 star hotels that we have stayed at in New York, but definitly higher than a four star. Bottom line, nice hotel, great location, nice rooms if you get the right one
I liked the location and the room once we were upgraded to a corner unit. Modern decor. I liked the Nespresso machine in the room and the electronic menu that you could control climate, shades, lights etc.
