it's not worth the high room rate compare the experience
kindfuly it's quit new,
Construction next door was quiet in the hotel but a mess outside.
The location was New York but not too swank; no icy stares from the too-rich Neighbors.
Friendliest management eve, i had to extend my stay and was offered the best value for money.
Our room was overlooking 57th street and you couldn't fail to hear it. Double-glazed windows might help. And the noise from the shower in the room next door didn't make this stay agreeable either.
my room was very noisy not sure why
Location closed to shopping area, attraction location such as time square and 5th Avenue.
There is a shocking smell of petrol fumes as you enter the lobby which the staff can't really answer why This would definatly put is off staying again as it can affect anybody with a bad chest or prone to headaches
Amazing comfortable beds for new york Great location Great rooms
We had to remind the front desk staff twice, that we weren't provided our turndown service before it was dealt with.
My 3rd visit to new york, and 2nd stay at the Quin. The hotel's location is nothing short of 'Amazing' with Central Park, 5th Avenue, Rockfeller Centre literally around the corner and Times Square only a 20mins walk away. As you enter the hotel lobby, you're greeted with the perfect warm & artisticated ambience. Staff were superb, speedy check-in & check out, super friendly door men, concierge staff with real expertise in the city & great entertainment/dining recommendations, speedy & friendly maintenance supervisor, room service was also speedy and yummy. I stayed here with my 16yr old son, and we had the Premier Queen Room (2 extremely comfy queen beds) that make you want to sleep in all day. Very well appointed, good size room & bathroom. Furnishings are plush, modern & brand new. All rooms have a genius touch pad master control for lighting/music/window shades! The gym is small but well equipped. Beautiful artworks displayed through out the hotel. Even the complimentary umbrella provided for guest usage during their stay is a piece of artwork. Plus free wifi throughout the hotel! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Quin staff, hope to see you soon.
A few creaky pipes occasionally from either the heating system or something else, they were boxed in so I couldn't tell, but this didn't spoil the experience and I'd stay there again.
The location is perfectly placed for everything around midtown and a short walk down to Times Square and all the shows. The room was very clean and modern and the bed extremely comfortable. Great choice of toiletries and excellent shower. The room service menu was varied and the food excellent. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful.
Wayfarer, the resturant, must improve if you want to compete With Rue across the street.
Very nice and efficient room interior
The daily knock by member of staff requiring to check the bar for replenishment, as I was always in the room when this was being done.
The location, the cleanliness, and the staff. The decor is simple but very pleasing.
Shower is modern but water gets everywhere.
Great room service from restaurant, Professional front desk and good quality room with iPad to control everything.
The nosy from out Side is to high
air conditioning - too loud
wifi is excellent
I would advise travelers to request a room looking to the rear, or on a high floor, because the street in NYC is always noisy.
Two things that are unusual in Manhattan: a large, pretty and comfortable room, and a staff that is professional and very friendly.
Great staff, attentive & accommodating. Perfect location, next to all the best UES shopping and restaurants, and walking distance to Lincoln Center. Really enjoyed the attached restaurant, The Wayfarer, great food.
When booking and listed the price we wanted, did not expect another $400 in taxes to be tacked on to the price. It's very misleading. We booked based how much we were prepared to spend and were unpleasantly surprised by the bill.
Beautiful hotel, amazing beds, wonderful and helpful staff. Doormen were friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Room service food was delicious.
Would like a better bar area
Location, everything is new, Good New York views from the window
Bit of traffic noise but I'm not used to NYC these days!
Everyone very helpful. Food was very good - avocado toast and burgers all week. Wifi was quick although seemed to add adverts to some websites which is odd.
Umm...Laundry costs are not the faint hearted or for those on a long trip who need to take advantage of them!
Nothing not to like about this Hotel
The staff could not have been more helpful. I have rarely had such fabulous service.
First time in NY and I was very worried about lodging. I thought this place could have easily been priced twice as much for the quality and accommodations. Professional staff. High end amenities, art and location. Can't wait to come back!
The price was higher than a similarly furnished and centrally located hotel would be in London or San Francisco, so the value seemed a little on the low side. We did not want feather pillows, but the pillows given as alternatives were of the cheapest quality. Our TV didn't work properly, but was repaired, and we had light bulbs that were burned out when we arrived which were replaced.
The location is wonderful with easy access to both midtown and uptown, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant had nice food and the servers were attentive; however, the food was incredibly slow in being delivered.
The hotel was rather hasty to block large amounts on my credit card which resulted in a problem on final payment when the card showed I was over the limit because of the hotels provisions.
