Great staff, attentive & accommodating. Perfect location, next to all the best UES shopping and restaurants, and walking distance to Lincoln Center. Really enjoyed the attached restaurant, The Wayfarer, great food.
Beautiful hotel, amazing beds, wonderful and helpful staff. Doormen were friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Room service food was delicious.
When booking and listed the price we wanted, did not expect another $400 in taxes to be tacked on to the price. It's very misleading. We booked based how much we were prepared to spend and were unpleasantly surprised by the bill.
Would like a better bar area
Location, everything is new, Good New York views from the window
Everyone very helpful. Food was very good - avocado toast and burgers all week. Wifi was quick although seemed to add adverts to some websites which is odd.
Bit of traffic noise but I'm not used to NYC these days!
Nothing not to like about this Hotel
Umm...Laundry costs are not the faint hearted or for those on a long trip who need to take advantage of them!
The staff could not have been more helpful. I have rarely had such fabulous service.
First time in NY and I was very worried about lodging. I thought this place could have easily been priced twice as much for the quality and accommodations. Professional staff. High end amenities, art and location. Can't wait to come back!
The location is wonderful with easy access to both midtown and uptown, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant had nice food and the servers were attentive; however, the food was incredibly slow in being delivered.
The price was higher than a similarly furnished and centrally located hotel would be in London or San Francisco, so the value seemed a little on the low side. We did not want feather pillows, but the pillows given as alternatives were of the cheapest quality. Our TV didn't work properly, but was repaired, and we had light bulbs that were burned out when we arrived which were replaced.
The hotel was rather hasty to block large amounts on my credit card which resulted in a problem on final payment when the card showed I was over the limit because of the hotels provisions.
The thing that stood out for me was the excellent service from the doormen. These guys are great and I think that they are an asset to this establishment.
The concierge services needs some attention. There was a lady that was on duty on New Years Eve and she didn't have a clue on what she was doing. She didn't have any good suggestions to make and had that unhappy tired look to her.
Everything was excellent!
Location and staff were excellent
The fact that I had to wait about three weeks for my debit card refund of £1800
This is a lovely hotel, great staff, comfortable room and good location
Having paid a lot extra to have a good room, and had specifically asked for a high floor and mentioning that we wanted a quiet room, we were given a room with a lot of traffic noise. We have stayed in plenty of hotels in New York with no traffic noise so it is possible to be quiet.
Nice and stylish hotel, newly renovated, room is small but ok for NYC standards - same goes for quietness, very good wifi, well equiped gym, friendly staff and good service
shower water temperature difficult to adjust and sometimes cold
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, 'automated' room (shades, lights, etc.). Nice workout facility.
Noise coming from heating system. Technician came to fix it, and was very courteous but it would 'rattle' each time it turned on (like a rock was in it). Woke up to this a couple of times.
very nice hotel .
the concierge is amazing, the location, service, modern rooms,, Every thing is great!!!
Everything about the hotel, facilities & location. The service was excellent
Staff were great Bed very good
Close to Central Park, Broadway and the shops on 5th Avenue
The best concierge I've come across. We dealt mainly with Bryant, Linda and Peter and they were great. Also Roger fixed a problem for us ASAP. The location is perfect for anything you want to see or do. Also the subway is close by. The Wifi is excellent and the the hotel and rooms very clean.
There's a construction site right next door and it can get noisy early in the morning.
Excellent location close to central park and main sights. The hotel is basically new, clean, modern, tidy. Excellent free Wifi in all areas. Personnel always helpfull.
Rooms were relatively small for a family of four (two king size beds). We had to remind constantly the housekeeping that we need four set of towels as the hotel provided only three. This is a five star hotel so prices are at higher level.
The location was great with easy access to restaurants, Central Park and shopping. The hotel staff were very friendly and our room was clean and comfortable. Perfect for our stay in NYC.
There was construction on the building next to The Quin which caused some noise disturbance on our last day. We also enjoyed appetizers and drinks in the Hotels Bar/Restaurant area and a wider selection of appetizers would be a nice addition to the menu.
The location, the cleanliness, the room the friendly hotel reception staff and the helpful concierge
Building site noise next door at 8am and unfriendly waiting staff in the restaurant that we never returned to after the first day
