The young woman at the reception was extremely helpful. The room was spacious and had a luxurious feel. It is only a five minute walk to the subway and all the landmarks are really close. A minor issue is the giant airconditioning located at the back of the hotel, that makes quite some noise. If you are a good sleeper it is not a big problem. Other than that, there are a couple of hints that the rebuilding of the hotel was done a bit hasty (wallpaper scratched, painted over rusted bathroom fan). But not a big deel. |

The staff were excellent and very helpful for someone needing assistance in getting around DC for the first time. The rooms were spacious and comfortable as well. The windows must be old, because street noise was quite audible. |

The staff was amazingly helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and attractive. I was on the side of the hotel where the waste disposal staff emptied the garbage cans in the morning, and it was quite loud. |

The staff was very accommodating in making sure we got the correct type of room that we had reserved. No breakfast available in restaurant or lobby. Sunday morning, the only place within 2 blocks of the hotel, that served any kind of breakfast, didn't open until 9:00AM. |

The room was quite spacious and the bed very comfortable. We loved the large dressing mirror. The staff at the desk were casual, and very helpful with local recommendations for entertainment. As I was traveling with my college-aged daughter, a larger dressing area with separate sink would have been preferred, but was not unacceptable as it was. The wireless did not work for us, however they quickly supplied a cable for our use. |

The Hotel is very clean! The staff are friendly and professional. Irish Pub Mackey, adjacent and connected to Hotel, had roaches running on the bar! And, the pub can be quite loud with band/DJ music at times. |

The staff was extremely helpful, this includes all shifts. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and willing to help. Really enjoyed my stay. Elevator slow and hot, but this was just a mild inconvenience nothing major. My room was to the back of the building and during the week days around 5 am the garbage trucks were loud. |

The position of the hotel is in the heart of washington DC. The area is safe and lots of shops next to it. all brands of SIM cards are near to it and CVS. the staff are very friendly and helpfull. there is a resturant next to it and it's noisy especially in night. they don't have tourist guider. |

My hotel room was on the backside of the hotel building. Behind the hotel were several office buildings. For a period of 2-3 hours from about 3-6 am each morning, garbage trucks were emptying dumpsters resulting in a lot of noise and lost sleep. I'm not sure what can be done about the situation, but it will make me think twice about returning to the Quincy. |

Staying at The Quincy had two advantages--first of all we were in a suite which allowed us to save a lot on meals and time. We purchased breakfast and snack items at three different cvs stores of which there were three all within a two block radius. The second advantage was its proximity to the metro--it was two blocks away. In just a few minutes were were at the subway and within another five to ten minutes we in the heart of all the musuems and monuments. We returned around 11:45 pm to our room after a long day of sightseeing but were unable to unlock our door. Vernon, the hotel clerk could not unlock the door either. He was very apologitic and contacted the "Engineer" on call. While waiting for him to arrive, we were given the only remaining room which had a broken a/C. Fans were brought in, but we were still miserable and fell asleep in our clothing. After replacing the batteries in the card reader, we were able to go into the room at 7:30 A.M. This inconvenience ruined our morning plans to attend the Sotomayer Supreme Court confirmation hearings. Upon checking out I discussed the issue with the hotel manager and he removed the last day's charge.. |

The room was excellent. It was very clean and full of design. The beds were top grade. If we forgot any of the essentials, the hotel was there to offer a toothbrush or toothpaste. The room was just great and the hotel was in the vicinity of many nice restaurants and shopping attractions. Once we figured out the parking, it wasn't bad either. The staff did not inform me about the parking arrangements until I was directed into the parking garage. I was told someone would let me in but instead a gentleman approached the car and told me he would let me for $32.00, which I should have been told on the phone. As well, the staff could not give accurate directions from Independence Ave., which is only a few blocks away. The guy told me I was somewhere in Maryland and he could not give me directions. |
