Free parking and continental breakfast
The room had excelent features, the location was quite near the main city atractions and the staff was very helpful and agreable.
Nothing to report
Road noise in morning
The hotel is well located, just a few blocks from the White House. It has underground parking. We met nice, helpful staff.
I couldn't believe how friendly and helpful all the staff were - I dealt with several different people over my three day stay and they were all special. Location was perfect for walking this city. Two useful subways stations nearby too and lots of great places nearby to eat etc. Room was huge and comfortable - with Kingsize bed.
Easy walking distance to everywhere a tourist wanted. Loved the size of our room and couch.
- Convenient location, less than 5-min walk from 2 different metro stations, 15-min walk to the White House - Spacious room with microwave oven, fridge and coffee maker - Nice and friendly staff - Safe neighborhood - Many restaurants nearby
Staff members are really nice and they are always ready to make your stay as pleasant as they can.
A good, clean, tidy hotel. Large room, king size bed, couch, wifi. Loved everything. Staff polite, courteous and helpful. Laundry on the premises. Close to the Metro Subway (2 blocks away), safe location and breakfast options available at nearby cafes. Not many restaurants nearby for dinner - a couple of good ones around the corner.
The parking was great, staff courteous and large kitchen fully equipped!
It was clean in a good location and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The price was reasonable because we weren't paying for things we didn't need like 24 hour room service, business centre or gym. We wanted a good reasonably priced base so we could visit as much as possible and the Quincy was perfect for that.
The staff was amazing, very friendly and readily available to answer questions and assist us. Of special note, we received a lot of help from Manny, a fantastic ambassador for the hotel, always with a friendly smile and answers for our questions.
Our room faced a back alley with two noisy garbage pick-up times in the middle of the night. This is outside the control of the staff, and maybe was the reason for the great price.
Big room with a big comfortable bed
The location is fab - lots of small cafes and restaurants near by, a 10min walk to DuPont Circle, and right by Farragut North and Farragut west stations. Georgetown, The White House, DuPont Circle and Embassy Row are all within easy walking distance. The rooms were huge, with nice big sofa areas. There's also an alcove outside the bathroom (lovely) where you get a fridge, microwave and coffee machine, as well as a good-sized wardrobe. The staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. I would definitely stay here again in DC. Great place.
While it didn't bother us at all, the noise from the road outside (L street) in front-facing rooms was considerable. My parents were moved from a front to a back-facing room while we stayed there, and the noise was much, much less, but the view was of the back of other buildings. Choose which you'd prefer and mention it when booking! Our room was huge but had only 3 drawers. Another chest would have been handy. Also the lobby could do with some TLC. When we walked in I was a bit worried - but the rooms were superb and there was actually nothing to worry about at all.
The location, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and easy to reach the main tourist attractions. The size of the room was bigger than expected, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
All of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! They always answered our questions and took the time to chat when entering and exiting the lobby. Room was very nice and having the kitchenette really helped the budget. Subway stations were 2 or 3 blocks away and made travel convenient. Yes it is in the business district so there was traffic noise during rush hours but no more than at home plus it was kind of nice to watch from the 9th floor and not be in the middle. We had a fabulous time!
The only complaint was the light above the dressing table kept burning out but this was due to the fixture. The staff was there within 3 minutes of calling both times we had a burnt out bulb. Once the fixture was replaced there was no more problem.
+ spacious room + staff + facilities
- housekeeping (room was not very clean)
The room was large, the bed very comfortable, and the shower was great. Everything worked, and I was given some breakfast vouchers which was helpful.
No room service. And while the bed was very comfy, it was also rather high. A short person might have some trouble getting into /on to it!
The amplitude of the room,a good bed to rest after a long day walking around the city, the excellent treatment by all the staff and do not want to mention anyone in particular because it would be unfair to all.
Poor lighting in the room, I don't know when they will learn that yellow light of incandescent bulbs spend more electricity than lightday bulbs. There is a serious problem with the shower faucet, you can use hot or cold water, never warm, the person send to repair it,explain to me to be graduating slowly both faucets to reach the desired temperature and then open the shower, never work, you have to be a specialist in open a safe box to graduate the desired temperature.
Staff and location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, location is excellent, bars and restaurants nearby and sights easy to get to.
Room VERY noisy, disrupted sleep, apparently the hotel is working towards fixing this problem, it needs to!
Having the kitchen in the room cuts down on the dining out expense. Highly recommend if you desire a good vacation that is good to your budget. Also love the fact the location is so close that there's no need for public transportation.
Location, friendly and helpful staff
STAFF NICE AND FRIENDLY, GOOD HOTEL OVERALL. TO BE RECOMMENDED
Good location, excellent staff, spacious rooms (in a slight need of refurbishment)
Noisy air con, wifi is slow and requires re-logging continuously (still, it's free).
My friend and I were so amazed at the fabulous king room. Had everything from an abundance of space (huge), microwave, comfortable bed, great location, makeup area outside of the bathroom (fantastic by the way), friendly, helpful staff and value for money. Loved bit!!
Nothing comes to mind.
