Everything but what I put in the what I didn't like.
The air condition made a lot of noise, and there is to much of a big space under the door to the home.
We liked that the innkeeper showed us an alternate room available on a ground level. We are both elderly and needed a handicapped friendly room. It was a beautiful room with a "walk-shower", to our great relief. The food was outstanding and we appreciated being able to chat with the inn's chef who was very willing to discuss his signature dishes. The innkeeper was very welcoming, friendly and cheerful. The innkeeper was gracious enough to print us a route itinerary to get to a particular tourist destination we were interested in. The internet was not working for us.
We were never able to get an internet connection. This is in spite of more than a dozen attempts at linking with the password give us.
Quiet, Staff, Food
A quiet and romantic inn with a very friendly and accommodating staff.
Very friendly, rooms bright, clean and fresh. Chef also excellent
Nothing to dislike!
We loved our stay.
Dinner was not as good. Very big portions but bot as good. A bit in the expensive side.
I LOVED The Red Clover Inn. The staff was superb, the room lovely, and the food terrific. I would absolutely return.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with all the local ingredients. Drinks and dinner were excellent! Love the cozy bar!
Dining room was a bit noisy on Sat night.
Assigned room did not live up to expectations. The bathroom was in need of a complete renovation - sink dripped, stained - claw tub poor substitute for a shower and hardly accessible to elderly couple - door to unit would not shut unless locked - suggest Innkeepeer consider updating this room to match quality of the other rooms which were lovely. Tess - Eastham, MA
The rooms were very cosy and clean. Loved the fireplace. Food was excellent, but dinner for 4 fairly expensive. On a quiet road, 15 minutes from Killington.
Perfect for couples. Also extraordinary breakfast of hot organic local grown foods. The rooms were nice and very quiet. Very friendly staff. !5 min from the base lodge of Killington.
We ate dinner there the first night. Since they did not have many people scheduled to eat dinner that night, and there was bad weather, the chef volunteered to make us a 3 course sampling. We just told him that we were vegetarian, and he made us the BEST meal! He even came out and talked with us. It was just really neat to experience that, and we were completely impressed by his friendliness and culinary abilities. We also really liked the hot tub. It was such a nice experience to enjoy the hot tub while it was snowing. All of the staff were very friendly and will to help or answer any questions.
Staff & Restaurant are wonderful. Public areas very comfortable. Thomas was a great help, professional, and kind.
There was not a good explanation of the facilities and amenities- didn't know that there were multiple sitting areas, or outdoor hot tub. Not all rooms are created equal!!
It was so beautifully decorated and unbelievably cozy. The rooms were simple but so clean. It was actually nice to have no TV. Instead there was an iPod doc so we could listen to our music. There was also a remote fire place and a jacuzzi in the room. The food at breakfast was so good! They start you with these pastries and fruit. THE best I've ever had. And the restaurant for dinner ...AMAZING FOOD and AMBIANCE, music, decor...PERFECT! I didn't want to leave! We hung out there after dinner for a couple of hours! The service and the staff were great too. Very warm and friendly.
The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. They at least need to invest in better mattresses. We woke up with neck, shoulder and back pain. It would also be nice if they put night lights in the hallways instead of leaving the actual hallway lights on all night. The light came thru under and around our door so if you prefer a very dark room to sleep, it's a disturbance.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The place was beautiful and the food was extraordinary!!
Grossly overpriced room
