Score from 145 reviews Wonderful
at 8am landscapers were blowing leaves with loud machines
Room had been a smoking room
The back end is quiet, I always prefer the back end rooms on the highest floor
The second floor ice machine is broke, it was cold and windy and I had to go to main lobby just to get ice
The staff was great, it was clean and surprisingly quiet being near a highway.
Wi-fi had issues, especially during the evening.
The room was to be smoke-free & smelled as if it was a room to smoke in
friendliness and helpfulness of staff
Not being able to open the windows especially since it was humid Not having the option to have hot coffee and liquid creamer Having low water pressure in the shower
Staff is kind and helping. No noise at night. The hotel is a 10 min drive to the beach. Good for a couple nights
Since it´s a pet friendly Inn, there are bugs. They could do a better job with the cleaning. The rooms a a little dark, and some other guests were drinking and smoking in the corridors at night, so it feels a little uncomfortable.
Close to town, relatively clean
Paid more for Thursday night than Wednesday night. Why? Hotel could use some modernization, new mattresses.
The staff was exteremly nice and helpful. This hotel is nice for a day or two to stay at. The room was clean, the bathroom worked fine, and the bed was somewhat comfortable . I can't complain, it was worth the low price .
The only problem with the room I stayed in was the shower made a whistle sound when it was turned on.
The room the desk clerk originally sent us to was not made up.
Very dirty, felt very uncomfortable sleeping here! Would not recommend to anyone!
From two years ago I saw much improvement. The location appearance was nicer. The parking lot was refinished, the reception area had new flooring, paint. The room had new bedding, cleaner rooms.
The bed mattress we not comfortable at all. There were still cigarette smell at night which I thought wasn't allowed in the rooms. It only happen for a few days.
The vanity was outside the other bathroom fixtures. Made it easier to get ready. Room was fine for one night.
Tiny bathroom, had to kind of walk around toilet so you could close the bathroom door. The mattress was much too soft.
Cleaning staff thorough. Beds comfortable
The floor rug needed cleaning
Location (near New Heaven/Yale University) Friendly Personnel Lots of Parking Space
Everything. This place is a joke. Filthy, dingy, smelly, carpet with large unidentifiable stains, sheets smell like clorox and I got double charged. Do yourself a favor and pick some other place.
Impressed for the price!!!!!! The frig in our room, 335, didn't work
I've stayed at a Red Roof Inn before. It was located in Woburn. It was immaculate and comfortable. This Red Roof Inn was the total opposite. The non-smoking room definitely smelled like smoke. The room did not look clean at all. I was even afraid to use the towels. There were a lot of loud people hanging outside all around the Inn. I did not feel safe there at all.
Friendly and accomodating staff.. Good, inexpensive place for 1 or 2 nights,
Towels too small, I'm 6'3" 265 lbs
The rooms smell - probably from smoking being allowed earlier
