The room was fabulous. Bed was so comfortable. So much room. Incredible bathroom, the shower was huge with an enormous shower rose. Hotel is in easy walking distance of Downtown Hollywood . The location was quiet with virtually no traffic noise.
We were warned of music noise on Saturday night and you could hear the bass but not enough to effect sleeping. Food choices limited. Limited breakfast choices and we walked into Hollywood for dinner each night.
Loved the decor of the hotel! Our room was huge and very comfortable and clean. Felt like a high end bohemian apartment.
It was expensive and the view from our room wasn't the best.
If you looking for nice hotel for honeymoon or special occasion. I'd like to advise this hotel. it's very nice one that you can choose.
Decoration is quite fashion. Room is big and with good location.
I was told by the hotel staff that the estimated cost to take a cab from hotel to LAX airport is around 40-60 USD, but actually it tooks me around 75 USD after I took the cab called by the hotel. Also there is no postcard sending service offered by the hotel which I would recommend to be improved.
The hotel is very comfortable , secure and private. Located in the better part of Hollywood. Great atmosphere. Very close to the red line subway which was clean and easy to use. The subway can take you Downtown or directly to Universal studios for just $ 1.75 We overlooked the courtyard and had no problems with noise.it was great to have a kitchen to make our own meals when we wanted.
This is not a tourist hotel. The staff were not very helpful with touristy enquiries. We had to find our own way around. There is no pool, which would have been great on some scorching hot days.
I loved everything. Room. Decor. Parking. Cleo's. The staff! We could not have been more comfortable and pampered. The Redbury made us feel like STARS!
Our last day...Labor Day...the one guy at the front desk was not helpful and kind of rude. We figured that was not a usual gig.
Loved it all, the staff, drinks food, and my room was great...a little noisy from the courtyard, but didn't worry me too much.
Just the TV remote may have been me but found it hard to change channels
The comfort of the rooms and overall decoration, (even a turntable with LP's to play) was excellent. Breakfast although not included was great value for money.
No complimentary tea in the room. Only option was a US$8 sample pack. Also US$10 per day for WiFi, when much cheaper hotels have WiFi included. Both these seem to be not in keeping with an otherwise great place to stay.
- noise outside from street during the night - poor customer service - attention to the detail in the room from housekeeping. Example; there was no refill of shampoo, body wash, towels, laundry detergent from one day to the next. I phone and requested these items to be replaced but no one ever came to supply this re stock.
Flats are comfortable Location is ideal Friendly/helpful staff
Loud music/loud people on the bar terrase as Bar and lounge open till 2am on Friday and Saturday
Big room for a great price. Good style.
Library was closed for a wedding
Very nice and large rooms.
On the weekend very loud because of the bar. Hotel a bit too expensive for what you get.
Large room with kitchen. Comfortable bed. Seemed more like an apartment than hotel room.
Our room overlooked courtyard and Bar. Was so loud until about 1am. It was like we were in the middle of a club. Front desk should issue a warning
Fabulous location, loved how it was like a little apartment, felt like a home from home, great to have a balcony.
Good location around the sights in Hollywood and near the metro. The theme of the hotel is very nice.
- Location - Quality of room - Cleanliness - Staff - Design
- Noisy on Friday/Saturday nights
They gave me an absolutely gorgeous and gigantic suite, complete with kitchen and balcony. The bed was very comfortable. Good coffee at breakfast.
Noise from the bar downstairs and from outside. Earplugs were very useful.
Loved the spaciousness and the decor.
The shower was a bit slimy.
We were spoiled by all the staff including the car attendants. We felt that we had the "town" car at our disposal all day everyday. That crew of guys are the best. Fine dining right at the hotel ....delicious...courteous, professional servers. The rooms are special...appointed out of the ordinary "hotel" décor. Very nicely done. We would stay again, but during the week. One of the better places to stay that's within walking distance to tourist sights and subway. Of course the "town" car is available. xoxox
Is the place to be on weekends if you like PARTY time. Can get noisy in the bar/patio garden area. Ask for ear plugs or go down and join the party. Suggest staying mid week if possible if you don't like to be disturbed into the night.
amazing location, nice rooms, helpful staff.
Spacious apartment with every need catered for including a washer dryer.
Hotel was perfect. The area around it wasn't as nice as I expected.
The room was decorated nicely.the bed comfy .they upgraded my room as i needed i quiet one and although it was weekend and it was very noisy in the bar,i did not get any noise in my room :)i loved everything about them
The lobby is very small n dark .wi fi should be complimentary .
Keith and Daniel in Reception was perfect hosts. As was the Room Manager. They spoiled us every day. The Valet Staff guys were also so nice to us and went out of their way to see that we had a good time. They took us everywhere we wanted to go and we felt like we were the only ones that had use of the "Town" car. We will come back but not on the weekend. Our meal in the dining room was delicious
Very large and LOUD party one night in the garden area. They we asked to tone it down earlier than they wanted to party. Many complaints that night. Weekends are where "regulars" go. So, be prepared to hear some noise coming from the garden and bar area. We were only bothered one night out of 3. They changed out our couch and replaced it without cleaning floor underneath so I'm sure that room has more dust bunnies hiding
Almost Everything !
- The view from balcony - The noise from the club
Room area is very large and fully equipped
Close to night clubs where the noises come from the street till 3 am can wake you up if your room view is on Vine street.
