Location was great really liked the room.
The first night the people above us made lots of noise walking around.
Everything except noise above us
Comfortable, clean and very helpful staff.
(1) Suggest better signage on the main road - somewhat difficult to find - easily confused with the townhouses which are sale units (2) Heating unit noise is very loud
My husband and I were looking for a weekend getaway since we have 2 small children and another on the way. Our experience at the Residences was wonderful!! I couldn't ask for a better experience! We will be back!
Pretty much everything.
Toilet paper holder
I just had a weekend getaway and was sceptical about the price of the hotel but is truly a remarkable deal.
Rooms are spacious with updated amenities. Nice balconies, and fireplace with gas logs in cozy family room. Complete kitchen with modern SS appliances incl.dishwasher and granite counter tops. Unit complete with all needs including washer & dryer, just bring your own food and make yourself at home.
Well these comments are my opinion of course but my wife and I found the furnishings lacking the usual comfort we find in our travels, ie. mission style sofa and bedding mattress. As a final critique the sound proofing between floors for the complete unit non existent. Everyone walking or moving above makes an awful racket. (Maybe they should have improved in this area during the retrofit) My suggestion try to book the top floor units.
Generally, it was a nice place. Good location, maybe half a mile from the Biltmore entrance and on a road that ran straight into downtown. Clean.
The bed was a real problem. Felt like a low quality matress. My companion said she felt like she could feel the springs at times. Neither of us slept that well.
This is our 2nd time staying at this hotel in Asheville. The studio we stayed in was more than big enough to accomodate a family of three. The room itself is very comfortable. It even had a washer and dryer which came in handy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again next year.
The wifi signal was a little weak.
Staff was extremely helpful; wonderful bath and kitchen facilities; 4 th floor with some view of wooded area good. Request that!
Parking lot or pool view most everywhere; awful hard utilitarian bench and 2 hard chairs at table:(; lighting in BR and reading by sofa extremely inadequate for reading; sofa utilitarian
The room was nice and clean. The balcony was nice and peaceful.
I didn't realize you could not smoke on the property. That is my fault as I must have missed the fine print when booking. My husband is a smoker which is why I wanted to book a room with a balcony. I am not a smoker and wanted a non smoking room, but wanted him to have access to smoke outside. The parking was terrible. The back lot was under construction. We had to go up around 15 steps to get to our room. There was no option for the elevator. My husband and I are able to climb stairs but it's a little inconvenient when you aren't expecting it and have a lot of luggage you are trying to lug up the stairs. I've never been to a lodging facility where you didn't have the option for the elevator. The room was nice, but we will not stay here again.
Noise from other rooms. No sound barrier between floors.
Condition and cleanliness of the property. Comfort of the room.
Staff wasn't as knowledgable and helpful as they could have been. Hot tub was broken the first night of our stay.
The room was great…the bathroom incredible. Nice fitness center. Friendly person at the desk; couldn't get the TV remote to work she figured out it was the battery and replaced them. ALL AT A TERRIFIC PRICE!
No wifi in the fitness center…plus no wipes to wipe down the equipment after use. The fireplace was a little hokey.
The rooms were extremely clean and spacious and very well kept. There were no loud noises and it was a very peaceful getaway. It was a perfect location to downtown Asheville and to the Biltmore.
I wish the pool/hot tub would stay open later than 10:00 but other than that I wish we could have stayed longer!
As usual, our stay was just great. Thank you to the staff. Mel & Linda
Location, comfort, cleanliness!
Everyone did their best to accommodate us. They offered information of things to see and do while in NC. Overall stay was a pleasure. I will stay there again for sure. Loved it.
Making arrangements was a bit sticky but was taken care of on the premises.
The area and the proximity to the shops and Biltmore Manor.
The front desk person in the AM was friendly and helpful and let us check out early after one night. The bathroom was nice. Otherwise, this hotel was a bust.
The room felt small due to oversized furniture. There was not enough electrical plugs near bed. There were no parking spots in parking lot. There was not a night stand on both sides of the bed. The walls are so thin, every sound from units around you radiate through the unit. They have blinds instead if curtains on the windows, so a lot of light came through. We were on second floor at street light height and it was very bright in the room all night. We checked out early after one night.
Beautiful suite, nicely furnished, comfortable and private. Convenient location for exploration of the Asheville community. Professional and helpful staff.
Lack of bathroom towel bar space for drying towels and variation in water temperature during showers.
Everything was just perfect
Smoking area was not pleasant
We love to option of a separate living area with a full kitchen and two TVS. Very comfortable .... The bathroom was spacious and beautiful.
The property is very conveniently and quietly situated at the end of Biltmore avenue at #700. The Residences at the Biltmore not to be confused with The Biltmore Residences, An identical property but only in layout and service. Our one bedroom site was actually a one bedroom apartment, appointed very comfortably with a gas fireplace, stainless and granite kitchen, and huge jacuzzi bath, two person tiled shower, and great flat screen TV in both the living room over the fireplace and bedroom opposite the bed. Toiletries, towels and coffee service were abundant, well stocked and refreshed daily, plus the 24 hour concierge service was available for you to fulfill service needs and stock-ups! The beautiful pool was immaculate, as well as the convenient location of two keyed restrooms. The pool area was also graced by a gentle water fall feature, and a gas fire pit for for those evening chit chats.
We experienced a heavy walker above us, but was able to drown out the heavy footsteps and squeaks with our air conditioning/heating fan. The only time it became a bit annoying was when we were trying to enjoy some seldom watched Telly. A full holiday weekend did not test the service of the staff but did did put a strain on the parking when we arrived back from a wedding in a rainstorm and had to ask the concierge where we might find a place to safely park after checking both the lots. All in all minor inconveniences, that did not spoil a lovely weekend at The Residences at the Biltmore.
Loved the room. Great for honeymoon night. Great bathroom
