The view. The rooms should be just as awesome as the view...and they were not.
The room smelled along with the club house...it was not updated...very dissappointed...Will not go back
Locations , decor , and staff was nice
Felt that you were under staffed I think all the employees did what they could
The salt cave in the SPA and the comfort of the beds.
Comfortable and clean. Friendly staff. Many amenities.
They were unable to find my reservations, but were able to accommodate us. Fortunately, I had my confirmation number to show it had been booked.
This was a getaway for a few friends. We enjoyed our stay. Very scenic, comfortable and quiet.
A free continental breakfast would have been nice.
Attractive physical location with attractive architecture and landscaping, particularly including an excellent golf course. Room was clean and comfortable with a large TV and a balcony with a pleasant view.
The only dining available is at the restaurant, in that there are no refrigerators or microwave ovens in the rooms, and the closest off site restaurants are about 4 miles away in Boerne. We only had a snack at the bar and breakfast at the restaurant. The food was average and fairly priced, whereas the liquor was rather expensive. Also, the bar and restaurant are several hundred yards away from some of the rooms.
The central areas were very pretty, the location - in the hill country was beautiful.
The individual rooms were fair, what you wold expect from a Holiday Inn or similar chain. The restaurant was okay, once again what you would expect from an average economy hotel. Nothing was horrible but from the web-site I expected a "resort" feel and that was definetly not the case. Also watch the hidden taxes and fees. The room prices was about 35% higher per night due to these water/bed etc taxes.
Had a very comfortable and clean room overlooking the golf course. Playing golf on Thanksgiving afternoon, we almost had to course to ourselves and that always feels great! Very nice place to spend a few days to unwind!!
Guests with pets should not be housed next door to guests without pets. Two yappy little dogs next door "almost" ruined our relaxing get away. Their inconsiderate owners obviously left them alone for too long and they barked incessantly.
Nice large clean room, comfortable beds. Beautiful location. Good restaurant.
No fridge in room, bathroom door stuck on floor.
Location and the quietiness. The live music Friday night was nice around the fireplace.
Mildrew around the bathtub. We stayed in 291
athmosphere friendly staff view food SALT CAVE!!!!!!!! pool Comfortable beds
had issues with our tub not draining water properly :(
The room was spacious. Worked great for 3 ladies to share. The staff at the restaurant was exceptional. Especially our waiter Matt. The view is awesome. Very nice place overall.
No frig in the room.
The location is beautiful and peaceful which is exactly what we were looking for. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable.
Our original room was booked next to a wedding party by the pool. After a quick call to the front desk, the hotel graciously moved us to a quieter location and won us over.
The room was large and very comfortable, the resort is beautiful, the concierge was very helpful, and the maid was sweet.Cole our waiter was amazing.
It's a resort and spa, the pool...could use a cleaning it had things floating in it, I do not know if disgusting explains it. My family was there on a holiday weekend and the spa was closed! The bartender I think his name was Tim, was pompous and should be fired. The stairs to our room were very dangerous and 3 of the 5 people with us fell on them.
The staff was very sweet and helpful. The location makes you feel secluded. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.
The pool was great. Restaurant was very nice The bar (Tim) was awesome. He is very entertaining and fun and very hard worker.. Love the scenery. Had a great stay and will come again.
Golf, patio entertainment, food
Ceiling was very thin, people above us sounded like a heard of elephents and they were just walking around normal.
Enjoyed the spa and salt cave
Everything else, was horrible. The bed was rough the pillows were lumpy, the walls were paper thin, the patio view was sorry. And we actually were snubbed at the restaurant. We will never visit this place again.
Location Setting Facilities
Understaffed Ants in room Noisy children above No spa information in room No dining information in room
Our room was at the entrance of the resort, all incoming and out going traffic went thru there Pool and convention hall were near by and the noise level was high will not return
Had a couple of minor problems that staff attended to within five minutes-QUICK
Location was nice.
Rooms felt old, felt not clean. It wasnt dirty. But it didnt feel like it was clean. I looked under the bed and it obviously wasnt clean. Television is outdated / didnt work. And a bug fell on my head when I was asleep. Pretty nasty. Not a horrible place, but I thought I Was getting better for the reputation.
Its closeness to hill country towns seclusion from the hustle of life quite and peaceful with abundant wildlife in area
Could use more pools and a lazy river around resort
