Score from 295 reviews Very good
restaurant staff is very polite and understanding
Desk clerk and valet staff do not communicate well. Waited 1 and a half hours to get car after checking out. Desk clerk told us he would put the order through to get our car, we asked valet how long it would be, he did not know we were waiting. We were put at the back of the line. I complained to the desk...no help. If you need your car, go straight to the valet...do not rely on the front desk.
The room was newly renovated and was very nice for a solo traveler.
Staff was very attentive to needs
No Refrigerator or Microwave in room No Continental breakfast.
I liked everything about this hotel the staff very friendly and extremely nice the hotel was gorgeous and clean just wish they had complimentary breakfast overall its a great place to stay
We loved the view we had on the 6th floor. We could see the cruise ships coming in,and also their was a outlet mall right across the street.
no fridge or microwave The pillows on the bed makes it a little uncomfortable, but if u remove a couple of pillows will make for a goodnight rest!!! The room sort of had an odor when we first arrived, but nothing air freshener couldn't take care of air!
The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. One of the young ladies at the desk was questioned closely by a guest concerning the fact that the hotel had changed hands. She answered each questioned thoroughly and completely without becoming contentious. All in all a great staff and a beautiful hotel.
At first it was hard to get the temperature adjusted but that was taken care of the next day. Also the light in the hallway shone brightly under the door into the room at night. So a little too much light in the room at night.
great location if you have to get to convention center
wifi in the lobby usually doesn't work
restaurant food great
reservation for double beds made in april 2014 and didn't have room available had to use roll away bed reserved room 7 months ago should have made sure our room was available
It is not the wyndham anymore. Omni bought the property and we were not notified prior to arrival.
new renovations location was perfect size of room was huge everything was amazing
Super friendly staff, beautiful, renovated rooms
We arrived just when the facility was switching over to an Omni hotel. The staff did the best the could with the changes being implemented. I am sure once the dust settles, it will be awesome. Restaurant wasn't open yet for example.
VERY LOUD AND INTERFERED WITH SLEEP DURING THE DAY, IF WE HAD KNOWN THIS WAS GOING ON AND HOW LOUD WE WOULD NOT HAVE STAYED AT THIS LOCATION.
location and cleanliness of room
horrible hidden fees that raised price by almost $150 dollars. bed tax, local tax, state tax, some other tax, oh lets not forget the tourist assistance fee all charged on a per day basis.
It was clean and the staff was friendly. Our room was more than sufficient. The continental breakfast was included and was standard.
They are currently undergoing construction, which they tell you about at check in. They make you aware of it and ask for your understanding in making the hotel better. It literally sounded like there was someone in our room with a saw at 8am. I actually was awakened and shocked not to find anyone there with a drill it was so loud. I was going to complain but someone must have beat me to it and it stopped shortly after, and resumed again at 10am. We are not complainers so we dealt with the inconvenience, but many would find it unacceptable. Other than that it was clean and in a good location with friendly staff and a free continental breakfast. If there was no construction this would have been a great place to stay. I just found it sort of rude that they didn't warn you of it ahead of time. You were made aware upon check in.
Booking.com did not inform us that the hotel was under renovation. Cab driver said it was closed.
The hotel staff and all the amenities were excellent. The location is also great, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The renovation was very well done!!
Although free, the WiFi was weak at best. Stronger WiFi (even with a fee) should be provided, especially for business travelers.
I didn't like the valets. One in particular was a little too excited about getting to drive my car(a nice sports car) and I found some settings on my car changed when I got back in it after i left.
Hotel, area and rooms were beautiful. We walked everywhere so we didn't need to rent a car. I will stay here again on the next trip down to NOLA!
some construction going on in the lobby but the staff was very accommodating and it didn't bother us at all.
Great view! We overlooked the Riverfront Mall and we had a peek-a-boo view of the river, saw the cruise ships in port and overlooked the parking lot where our rental car was parked. Nice clean rooms, very comfortable bed. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
Wi-Fi was very low or did not have a connection at all. Hotel was under renovation so we had to enter via a back entrance.
It was under construction. Restaurant & Lounge were closed. Had to go around to the side to get in. Ended up having to paying for parking. Very disappointed.
Chose this hotel for a group trip with some girlfriends and we are so glad that we did. The location was spot on, right across from the Riverwalk Mall, a block or two from Harrahs & Canal Street, and just a 5 minute walk from the French Quarter. We were definitely satisfied with the convenient location. Close enough but yet not too far. The staff was beyond helpful from the time we got in from Atlanta. James, Ren & Precious are your go to people if you choose your stay here. Very knowledgeable and just accomadating. Our room was beautiful, seemed to be one of the newer ones in the hotel seeing as how they've been remodeling. Very clean, modern & swanky. And spacious. Overall our stay here was a very pleasant one and I would certainly choose this Wyndahm again.
The wifi was a little weak. Barely connected at times. And our bathroom door had some issues that we never got resolved but the front desk accomadated us for it towards the end of our stay.
like the staff & helpfulness of all there
Did not like not knowing ahead of time that the hotel was still under construction
Location near the Convention Center.
Construction going on. I hope it was to renovate, because the rooms need it.
Excellent location, down by the french quarter but not in the quarter.
I was so disappointed to learn that the property had been purchased and will be a Omni soon. I am a Wyndham gold person.
