This historic New Orleans hotel was built in a refurbished bank and still features some of the original vault doors. It is less than a 15-minute walk from the French Quarter.

Score from 427 reviews Excellent
We liked everything about the hotel, from the location to the staff. Everything was great.
The halls of the hotel had to be as cold as outside, about 40 degrees
My purpose of visit / stay was for an event at the Convention Center. It's less than 5 min away, and directly opposite the Riverwalk Outlet Mall (for shoppers).
Close to the French Quarter but not too close to the noise.
Location. Size of room. Clean.
Location, large room, great staff and gret food
No pool, no wi fi that we were able to locate/use.
Staff friendly, tried to be helpful. "Trying" is the operative word.
Too many inconveniences, especially with the restaurant. Served the wrong dinner. Ordered "oatmeal with raisins and fresh berries," got oatmeal with half a sliced banana on top. One coffee pack in room, etc. Currently undergoing painting, etc., so dodging construction workers as well.
Close to Convention Center The hotel was newly Renovated with updated rooms and nicely done bathrooms The staff was polite and helpful
Property was good and the house keeping and the rooms are nice
Didn't like the front desk staff. We were early to check in and the lady at the reception told us the rooms are not ready and since we requested interconnecting rooms we wait. We waited and got one room first and then they called to get the key to other room and when we checked it was not an interconnecting room. When I went to check it out the gentleman told that's all he has and didn't even listen and was trying to get me out his desk. I explained that the lady said we have inter connecting rooms when we checked and even before I could finish explaining he ran inside the office making me wait nd came back telling that it was wrong info. I requested to see the manager Jennifer and he said she told him to offer a $50 voucher which was an insult. Very disappointed and annoyed the unprofessional way we were treated and when the day we were checking we got our statements with a letter saying that the manager is available for any feedback and to call. What a shame. They didn't bother to listen to us or check on us but what good is it to ask them to call when we completed our vacation. Will not go there again. Sorry have to be honest.
The staff was incredibly helpful and gracious. Pleasantly surprised and grateful! Shoutout to Shaun and Kurt!
lovely accomodation. a bit of a walk to the french quarter, but then I didn't want to pay that price.
The valet parking was ridiculouslying slow!! We waiting for 45 minutes for our car, twice!!!! Not wOrth the $40. Park elsewhere!
restaurant staff is very polite and understanding
Desk clerk and valet staff do not communicate well. Waited 1 and a half hours to get car after checking out. Desk clerk told us he would put the order through to get our car, we asked valet how long it would be, he did not know we were waiting. We were put at the back of the line. I complained to the desk...no help. If you need your car, go straight to the valet...do not rely on the front desk.
The room was newly renovated and was very nice for a solo traveler.
Staff was very attentive to needs
No Refrigerator or Microwave in room No Continental breakfast.
I liked everything about this hotel the staff very friendly and extremely nice the hotel was gorgeous and clean just wish they had complimentary breakfast overall its a great place to stay
We loved the view we had on the 6th floor. We could see the cruise ships coming in,and also their was a outlet mall right across the street.
no fridge or microwave The pillows on the bed makes it a little uncomfortable, but if u remove a couple of pillows will make for a goodnight rest!!! The room sort of had an odor when we first arrived, but nothing air freshener couldn't take care of air!
The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. One of the young ladies at the desk was questioned closely by a guest concerning the fact that the hotel had changed hands. She answered each questioned thoroughly and completely without becoming contentious. All in all a great staff and a beautiful hotel.
At first it was hard to get the temperature adjusted but that was taken care of the next day. Also the light in the hallway shone brightly under the door into the room at night. So a little too much light in the room at night.
great location if you have to get to convention center
wifi in the lobby usually doesn't work
restaurant food great
reservation for double beds made in april 2014 and didn't have room available had to use roll away bed reserved room 7 months ago should have made sure our room was available
It is not the wyndham anymore. Omni bought the property and we were not notified prior to arrival.
new renovations location was perfect size of room was huge everything was amazing
Super friendly staff, beautiful, renovated rooms
We arrived just when the facility was switching over to an Omni hotel. The staff did the best the could with the changes being implemented. I am sure once the dust settles, it will be awesome. Restaurant wasn't open yet for example.
VERY LOUD AND INTERFERED WITH SLEEP DURING THE DAY, IF WE HAD KNOWN THIS WAS GOING ON AND HOW LOUD WE WOULD NOT HAVE STAYED AT THIS LOCATION.
location and cleanliness of room
horrible hidden fees that raised price by almost $150 dollars. bed tax, local tax, state tax, some other tax, oh lets not forget the tourist assistance fee all charged on a per day basis.
