Front desk personnel was pleasant and helpful.
Double booked into the same room as another family. Stairs and uneven walkway in halls.
They were nice about switching us to another room, read dislikes for further info. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was decent, could have use a meat dish.
When we walked into the room the smoke detector was beeping from a low battery, since it was late and no maintenance, they switched us to another room. This place could use some major updating!! Location is hard to get to since they are on a one way street next to the freeway.
The hotel was extremely convenient to downtown. Very comfy and clean.
well furnished room and comfortable.
standard of the toilet needs to be promoted to meet room's level.
Location, cost for the room, the breakfast had 2 types of eggs, hash browns, waffle maker. The breakfast room was clean and the staff were very efficient. The room was quiet and clean. The sheets were pretty worn but not awful.
There were broken beer bottles in the hall and on the stairs for all 3 days of our stay. The halls and the stairs were worn and filthy.
I saw some bad reviews and was skeptical. But the staff was great. Breakfast beats 90% of the other hotels. The first day I told the attendant that the coffee was Luke warm and in 2 minutes he brought me a hot cup and refilled the main container. I stayed five days and it was great.
Nice big rooms. Had all the necessary equipment in the room. Nice grounds, pool area.
The breakfast needed help. Had all the right components, but not very good quality of food. Very good coffee.
Help getting a better hotel
Room reaked of smoke and mold. Poorly lit. Small tv Room was located by construction site yet the hotel was not full. We left to find a better hotel.
Convenient to freeway
Carpets need cleaning and bathroom wallpaper is worn
The swimming pool and the breakfast
The location was awkward
The staff. Excellent
SunTran station right outside. However it took us 45 min to travel the 3-4 miles to the University.
We couldn't check in until 3 and the staff refused to help us with holding onto our luggage. The restaurant didn't open until 5 so we had nothing to do. Our room was old & dirty and we had no towels. The safe was broken.
The breakfast was good nice and cool
The room was a bit dirty
All in all very good just the breakfast area was being cleaned and packed up while people were still having breakfast half an hour before its scheduled closure by a noisy grumpy employee.
The staff was excellent. Brandon, Tony and Rosa went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Loved their hospitality. The breakfast was great. I also liked that we could go to the lobby and have drinks. The streetcar was very conveinient, we used it a couple of times to go down town. Over all it was welcoming and the facilities were great and the room was clean.
The vent in our bathroom didn't work so we had to leave the door open while we showered. It seemed like the room needed a little over all maintenence.
Bed was comfortable
I have fought the battle with wireless internet connections at many hotels in the past. When I saw that the Arizona Riverpark Inn had wired internet I disregarded all other hotels in the area and booked here. I was in town to help a friend, but I still had work of my own to do online and I needed a constant and fast connection and that is what I got.
Don't miss the turn in to the hotel, because if you do you have to go all the way around. For some reason I missed the driveway to turn in twice during my few days there. I would suggest they put a small sign, down low at the actual driveway entrance.
The location. This is the only hotel that has a stop on the new streetcar route. The breakfast was good.
Our 'non-smoking' room smelled strongly of smoke. They list a bar on site on the web, but the bar is not open on weekends!! The pool didn't have clean towels and did not appear to have been cleaned that day.
You have a excelant breckfast beds are comfortable my last experience was really nice so we came back this time :-)
:-( this visit was not a good impressionat all !!!!! Room was smelly had to ask several!!!! times to come spray room because of the odder! When the young lady finley showed up she told us she had to go purches the spray her self the hotel needs to be remodeled carpets are badly Worren down needs a new paint Job and needs pluming work badly our friends had sewer coming up in to there tub gross :-[ we are not sure if we will return next year or not unless changes are made!
The staff was pleasant, the room was very clean with no odors, the pool was huge. Towels were soft. Beds comfy, even the hideabed. The grounds are gorgeous and peaceful. We were given a variety of flyers for places that delivered food as the restaurant and bar are closed on Saturday nights. Rosati's has great pizza. Freeway noise is not heard. Breakfast buffet was included, with many options to choose from. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, breads, cereals, coffee, juices, more. A pull out clothesline in the tub/shower to hang our swimming suits. Coffee pot in room with good coffee. Ice machine worked, vending machines worked. Convienience store not far to the south and under the interstate, easy to return up the access road to come back under the interstate right at hotel. And the street car has a stop right next to the hotel to take you through downtown to the university. We felt safe here as the gates into the hotel were locked at night with cardkey entry, security was visable and friendly.
Restaurant and bar closed on weekends.
Location and the room was all good. Hotel still in great shape. Grounds are still nice and kept up. Great room and stay for the price. Ps. Don't raise the rates.
No real bar or restaurant, but not necessary due to the new trolly running threw downtown.
I liked the staff, very friendly and Helpfull.
Well first of all i stayed when there was a convention near downtown too many people at hotel, then I got a room in a annexed Building which was not my favorite, but they were short on rooms. The room was okay.
Very clean and quiet and the free ,full breakfast every morning, and a little coffee pot in the room. Everyone was so pleasant and friendly.
In the hot climate there were a few bugs to greet us on the floor. We used to live in Las Vegas, so we know all about that problem. Our son used to have the foundation sprayed every so often.
Breakfast buffet was good.
The pictures on the website do not apply to the rooms that are available. The room my daughter and I had was nothing like the website pictures. It was old, the bathroom was dated and quite ugly.
Large facility, and we had a clean large room with double beds. Came in late so pool and hot tub were closed but looked like they were refreshing. Large hot breakfast available in the morning. Pleasant staff and even the security guard patrolling at night was easy to talk to.
Hallways are open at either end to the outside but the carpets were dingy looking.
