No picture on wall asked for one and was told they would get one ; never got one. Lights over beds didn't work.
Location is great. Clean rooms and nice grounds.
Steps alot of them to get to my room 2304! AC was noisy - more channels on TV - mostly sports stations yuk - cut off for bar food was 5pm need to extend their hours so we can come off beach and drink and eat - the place could use a little tlc - no washcloths in room - maid skipped my room one day - food was excellent albeit pricey though
Brian the bartender - Yousef from the front desk - location block from beach - food was good but pricey - pools were clean - back of resort quieter than front - room was clean and comfy!
There's nothing negative that I can say about this establishment and its staff!
Jeff was very kind during our arrival. He was professional, friendly, very personable! The resort was clean and inviting. We felt safe and secluded in our room. The noise outside wasn't noticable. I enjoyed the hanging shower head from the ceiling! The resort is very close to the beach and walking distance to local bars, restaurants, bike rentals and more. The free parking was a plus very rare in this area.
Sponge pillows, old mattress, broken gate access, no phone in room, noisy ac, huge shower yet tiny bath, protruding bedframe killed my shins, venetian blinds allowed in too much light
Nicely designed decor, great Beach access but off main Boulevard
Our room was extremely clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The staff was so very friendly! We had one breakfast, two lunches as well as drinks at the poolside bar/cafe. The meals were delicious and reasonably priced. We are excited to be returning for Memorial Day weekend!
Food and drinks was amazingly reasonably priced..didn't feel the need to buy food elsewhere
nothing at all. would come again in a heatbeat
Poolside bar and food. Sunday afternoon live DJ and party.
Charmed staff , very clean rooms , lovely brkfst by pool ☆☆☆☆☆
We arranged a wake-up knock and let the office know we needed a cab for 0430 hr. No knock and no attendant on duty to call cab so my husband had to run 5 blocks to a big hotel to find one.
Friendly,convenient, great accommodations!
Service horrible Staff not friendly Nobody ever answers phone at front desk Staff not always present at front desk Don't clean room until 4pm Parking problematic
Aesthetically pleasing facility
Listed on the Gay websites as all male. Not true, their own website states adults only, not true. Other than the bartenders, the staff was less than friendly. The bed was terrible, sunk in the mattress, never sweep the rooms, left trash on the floor, and don't look under it. They are doing construction on the property, so had to listen to that noise during day while trying to relax at the pool.
having the bar on sight and the bartenders and its close proximity to the beach.
the mattress was a little lopsided and could stand to be rotated on a regular basis. Also on Sunday afternoons there is a party catering mostly to gay men with the DJ and drink specials which was fun but got a little noisy if you had a room near the pool.
The exterior of the hotel is loaded with mid-century, old Florida charm, but the rooms are clean, comfortable, modern and beautifully decorated. The staff on every level was pleasant and friendly. there is a tasty modestly priced menu available at the pool bar for breakfast and lunch. The clientele is mostly gay men of all ages and some straight couples who appeared to mix easily amoung the crowd. The location one block from the beach is superb.
The night we arrived it was 39 degrees and the heating system didn't do the job and we couldn't get extra blankets. The bed was uncomfortable. On arriving it was hard to find the entrance.
The staff was great. Breakfast was terrific. It has a great location. The pools were fun. Parking was easy.
service was inconsistent, kitchen would take too long to process orders, monitors are great but expensive
great location and possibilities
They need more staff in the bar/restaurant area during peak hours. They did not bring an extra bed that had been requested at check-in. Not the hotel's fault yet some questionable characters stay here (trashy people).
I wished they would have been more informative about the area, how to get around and restaurants to dine at
We loved the staff especially Brian the bartender. The hotel was clean and in a great location. The spa was a nice touch
Inattentive staff at bar, no staff attending to/"upkeeping" outside/pool areas or acknowledging patrons
Great food, clean room, nice location and heated pool.
We had an issue with communicating about getting into our room earlier than the 3pm check-in time. The person on the phone told me one thing (that we would be able to check in early, while the desk reception person informed us upon arrival that we could not get into the room until 3pm). All other staff members and services were very good.
I had to leave.
First the complete staff at Royal Palms are friendly, welcoming and available to assist in every way. Great location within one block to the ocean, restaurants etc. Free parking and wifi. Loved the mixed group of guests and that it was a adult environment. Complimentary strong coffee and ability to order food at the pool.
This place is perfect for the price! The staff was very friendly and accommodating at all times. Brian, the evening bartender was very sociable and funny. We spend the majority of our time chatting with him. Two pools! Only a $10 uber to Wilton manors.
There was all men stayng there. Not that theres anything wrong with that, it just should have been detailed more prominently in the description
That we were able to stay for the night.
It used to be a clothing optional gay hotel and now it no long is.
Smokers are plentiful. ..thank my lucky stars they have 2 pools and beach near by
If you are there to RELAX bar in site. Really a friendly spot
