Rooms were all redone and new and clean and comfortable!!
Dress code in the bar
After a brief snafu at check in which Maritsa quickly fixed, I was greeted by the lovely decor of the hotel. My room appeared to be an art exhibit in comparison to other hotels in which I've stayed. Loved it!!!
Due to location of room picked up some traffic noise. No refrigerator nor microwave in room.
They redone. the rooms and they did an excellent job
Staff and Hotel. Especially the guy who was in the front desk when we checked in was very helpful. Sorry, I could not get his name.
The connecting door adjoining the next room. There were some guests in the next room # 141 who were too loud and noisy. No sound proof on the closed door and could not sleep in the night.
This is a fresh clean and friendly hotel, they take pride in the appearance and its beautiful inside out. The bedding is comfortable and the bathroon is lovely. Great place to stay
I hated the fact that the room was not fully equiped with all the necessary small appliances. There was no refrigerator, microwave, iron or iron board. There was no closet space for hanging anything. That was just annoying to me because I think those a basic complimentary things in a room I had to pay for getting a refrigerator in the room.
The staff is Good
The rooms were trash. The first room I was given the lights didn't work. Then the second room the TV's was so out dated still had a Tube Style TV. Food over price.
Odor of Hotel (musty)
The front desk staff was kind and courteous. I had a situation where I lost my cell phone in the city and the manager personally took an interest in making sure I got it back. Very impressive!
I didn't like that there was not a fridge in the room and the continental breakfast could have stepped up.
Room disgusting mattress need to be replace bathtub was nasty and not worth more than $50.00 a night I been in motel 's better than this hotel.
The A/C was good.
The room offered was in the old section of the hotel, old TV. I had to call to get the remote working. No pressing iron.
They had an elevator great to acess to room.wifi ready.a/c unit, ki.g size bed comfortable .
Breakfast wasn't what I expected . the sink was clogged up, no microwave, no closet to hang clothes, not enough linens.
Although it was dated the lobby had a lot of charm and was probably really nice in its day. The lounge was fun.
Stayed in a renovated room. Hated the sliding wall partitioning the bed and bath. It looked like a cheap shower door.
The staff was pleasant and tried to be accommodating. The room was fair. The breakfast buffet was fine & satisfactory. The Wi-FI in the room never worked properly. The cleanliness was borderline, but at the price (relatively cheap) and for the stay of one night, it was okay.
Very convenient location for me -- easy to find; convenient perch on the north side of New York City; useful adjacent services
Some of the lights in my room didn't work or had no bulbs
Lightbulb in bathroom shower was not working, TV in room was old (tube) and a major network was unavailable.
The continental breakfast was nice.
the room had an air freshener built into heater that was so potent that it caused us to have headaches ...we choose to be cold rather than turn up the heat; remote didn't work, nor did the replacement we requested; and walls too thin, could clearly hear our neighbors.
Bathroom primitive and when you flushed toilet it made a huge noise that could be heard throughout the building. TV was old and had bad picture Bed mattresses were like rocks Elevators were slow We didn't stay and chose to return home after a party and forfeited our room fees which came to $175 even though room was booked at $139
The staff was very helpful and professional.
Curtains were dirty looking. Small bug was on my night robe. No refrigerator or microwave upon arrival. Door was not adequately secure. Breakfast was not so good. Parking was not adequate-guest of hotel should not have parked to far from hotel because of weddings parties, etc be held at hotel.
the room was"ent any good
Main parking was not at the lobby level and ice machine and vending machine were on opposit wings of the hotel.
The Hotel was not what we are used to, it actually gave us some concern as to safety in the area. Would probably not stay there again.
the hotel was easy to find, right off the interstate = convenient to get into NYC, and a free breakfeast was provided. Also, the hotel lobby was attractive. The rate was reasonable.
this is an older hotel that has not been remodeled / upgraded = the bathrooms were very small...no luxury there! Also, the hotel hosted events each night we were there (Fri. & Sat.) which were very noisy and went on well into the night.
Location of RRH was in safe area. Parking was included.
Slightly over priced and out dated rooms.
