Location, big rooms, staff
Dinner bill from other guests, used almost 30 min during check out to explain that this 250+ dollar bill was wrong. After a while they found the signed receipt and understood the mistake.
Someone of the staff and expecially the girl at the front desk in the SPA; she is very dishonest! The rooms are old and absolutely need a renovation; the high price is not justified
Concierge was not very helpful
the staff is very bad expecially the girl in the spa; very unmannered and not honest.
The location was really nice, close to the beach and shopping etc. Pool area was very nice as well and the beach with service very conveniently located.
Our room did not have view of what so ever... About a meter from opposite wall with some pipes pushing steam out. From living room we could see a bit of the sky and other rooms, but that's it. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and our son could not sleep in it, he moved to the sofa instead.
I like the staffs . They were very holpeful
In my opinion the hotel entrance need some repairs
Poor and slow service - Waited two days for window to be fixed that wouldn't close (so super cold during nights); as well as hotel room phone (couldn't call reception, had to call with own cell phone); Waited 20min on shower cap and received 5 mending kits instead; Left the room at 11am in morning, but when back at 5pm, room still wasn't made... Terrible location - No view of anything, just of pipes blowing steam of neighbor hotel; lots of noise from street and adjacent hotel rooms. This area of SoBe is also nothing special. Very tacky and poor service at other places (restaurants etc.) too. Low value for money - We paid for 3 persons in room per night, but on beach they made us pay $10 extra for use of 3rd bed (after multiple complaints they finally waived the fee at check-out). Very poor quality of tv and wifi. Overall just a bad experience; totally overpriced for what it is...
Great public spaces, room accomidations as expected, and the staff was wonderful
The furiture could have used updating. The side tables were a bit beat up and the leather couches were scuffed.
The Sagamore has a very good location.
We stayed in a "Studio" that looked directly into the hotel next to us. There was no natural light. Our bathroom and kitchenette could really use an upgrade. There were water streaks on the walls. The bar wasn't open the entire weekend, which was a holiday. Overall, the Sagamore was disappointing despite its location.
cleanliness comfort facilities
Good location, clean and trendy
The bald guy at the front desk was having a bad day but the rest of the staff were ok. The lounge furniture in our room had no leather left on it at all and was down to bare threads. Nothing says "don't care" more than old rotten furniture.
location was ok, private beach area nice. Bar personal were nice and helpful. Room size nice, 2 tv if you are watching tv in your vacation ? Separete wc and bathroom.
Rooms deco old and used, our room sofafabric broken etc. Kitchenette without any equipment only two coffee cups and class. Wifi works sometimes. I told it to hotel but nothing happend to fax that. Room prices Higly overpriced. View from window next building.
Hotel staff was friendly.
1) Room smelled like mold. 2) Couch was supposed to be white, however, was filty. 3) Needs remodeling. 4) Bar was not open, and it was New Year's Eve weekend. 4) We heard the conversation next door. 5) Dark hallways and gloomy.
I was assigned the worst bungalow in the hotel. Considering the price paid during Christmas holidays, the bungalow was far below expectation ( old bathroom, ughly kitchenette). However, after complaining, I was accomodated in a better accomodation.
The boutique hotel feel with attentive staff was a huge plus. Felt it was a very good price for the area we were in. Definitely 4 star.
That we didn't stay for another week
Not clean at all There is only one elevator This hotel is outdated
A little to quiet
Interior design is very well done
The gym is too small. Two people at the same time already too much and no space for floor exercises
I liked the location but, that does not justify the price you ask.
Did not have bedroom slippers we had to ask for one Did not have tea we had to ask for it Mattress was in poor condition Sofa was so bad and dirty we had it exchanged Coffee shoppe on first level did not have healthy choice for eating TV did not have good reception
Location, store across the street to buy normally priced goods, 5min walk restaurants and bars,
Miami in general, they'd tax you for breathing....actually they do!
The size of the room!
location was excellent. the room was nice and big
we had to ask for dishes. would have been nice to have them there
The hotel is excellent and the best part of the hotel is the staff. The Beach and Pool teams are the very best. The guy in the pool bar is one of the best bartenders that I have met. He is very friendly and polite. Congratulations to him. My stay was smooth, I was very relaxed and my family loved the facilities and the art collection. It is an ocean-front hotel and they offer 2 beach chairs and umbrella for $17/day. The pool is very good as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend the hotel.
Even though they are located maybe in the most touristic place of Miami, the restaurant prices are completely out of reality. Does not make any sense charge $10 for a bottle of water or a beer can. On the top of the price, there is a mandatory 20% service fee. In average, a beer can cost $12 in the hotel. It is unimaginable. The same logic is applicable for the breakfast. $5 for a coffee, $25 for a continental breakfast/person. Plus 20% service fee. I will not mention the valet - you are obligated to pay all stay upfront, $39 a day.
