Location is not convenient-older hotel
Full of life, affordable, comfy
Everything was perfect!
The Art Deco look The location The El Jefe is convenient , the price is right and the food is good
Clean hotel. Refrigerator in each room. Pool party on Saturday was a fun atmosphere. Two jacuzzis. Free shuttle to Palm Canyon Drive. Check out at noon.
shuttle service ends at 9pm
Relatively large pool area, great atmosphere as being well embedded in hotel building
The colors and design were a pleasant change from the more traditional hotels. It was useful that a supermarket was just across the street.
I paid $399 for the night when someone set off a fire alarm at 2am. The alarm continued for about 45min during which time guests were not told what was going on. Music was playing in the courtyard around the pool like nothing was going on. As a weary traveller this disruption to sleep had a major impact on our next days activity. Another problem was that the water was never cold in our rooms so it meant putting a glass on water into the refrigerator for a cool drink.
The staff were amazing! Very helpful, attentive, just amazingly friendly! Never have had staff so great!
Ping pong table in entrance but not that big of deal. Screaming kids playing while your trying to check in not the most welcome / first impression of the hotel for a first timer like I was.
The layout of the hotel was crazy, difficult to get anywhere quickly within the complex. Adverstised shuttle to airport but neglected to mention the limited time it runs. Charged for "resort" fees ....this is not a resort this is a motel. Would not recommend for anything more then a quick stop to lay your head.
Staff was friedly, not a bad place to stay for the money.
Loud hip hop Vegas douchy pool scene. Drinks at pool are horrible... Not fresh ingredients, light pours, bartenders inexperienced, overpriced. It used to be great poolside. Also Tinto was closed
Clean bathroom, comfortable beds and soundless air conditioning
Disappointing not at all a 4 star hotel, tacky corridors, old paint work looked really shabby, bed cover really poor quality, no breakfast included
The location, bus shuttle, pool and bar.
Beautiful premises, great service and location. A memorable stay!
The location is close to downtown and the pool is the perfect balance between party and being able to relax. You get to bring dogs for no extra charge.
We had our a/c on full blast the entire time we were there and never really felt cool once. Our friends had to change rooms because their dog had tried to eat 2 cockroaches it found! Also, the pool isn't chilled so it can start to feel like bath water on a really hot day.
I loved everything the decor, the staff was very friendly, both restaurants were good I had an amazing time!
The spa and staff were outstanding
People that were not guests of the hotel using the pool.
Had the best time, I was there for the 4th of July celebrations. travelling with tots throws up different requirements, my 18mth old baby had a beautiful crib and our room was quiet and peaceful with a view of the pumping pool party. Helpful staff, very cool details in the room, free bikes to tour around the town. Loved every minute.
The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't stay longer.
The colours, the surrounding scenery, it was just so beautiful and just my style! Oh and adorable hummingbirds flying around near the pool!
The disco at the pool.. I realise it's part of the appeal but being from Australia I just think it's hilarious that there's dance music by pool during the day!
Liked the room, bed air condition, location and services to downtown by bus. Also the pool and bar
Awful experience. There was a pool party/DJ Saturday and Sunday that was so loud we had to leave the hotel so we could get away from the noise. There was no mention of this pool party on Booking.com's description.
A little difficult to navigate our way through the complex.
I like the relaxed feel of the reception, quality of water, general ambiance, pool.
the pool waitress, Shea(sp?) on the first day really nearly killed it for me. I came to the desk to ask for the menu, she promised to come over and I was waiting for her observing her make rounds back and forth yet never to our corner. This happens, I know I feel sympathy to waiters. In this case, though, additional training is wished for. When I came up to her to order, she asked "are you hungry" I did tell her, she needs not to ascertain those sorts of things, especially since I already told her and she promised to come over. She delivered a few things, then casually walked by asking if we are ok, somehow it didn't sound right as though she was saying "are you ok NOW?" not great. then she was quick to announce that the kitchen is now closed, when I wanted to order some more. Hospitality wasn't part of her game, little things--I requested 4 towels, as we are 4 people, she handed me 3 saying the maintenance is about to switch shifts and will bring more shortly, needless to say, the 4th towel never came. I fell in love with this hotel and was willing to pay a premium rate this time around because of the excellent pool service which was given by a person called Isis. What a difference this time! Not sure I will come or bring my family back.
The pool and bar are excellent.
Fantastic party atmosphere
