Nicely renovated character property. Great breakfast
Helpful people on the desk good location parking provided round the corner. This is a quality place to stay. Son aged 8 liked the accommodation particular the bed and wifi and that easy walking distance to historic sites and places of interest other than just witch related
I got this room for my parents - both in their mid- eighties. They loved it! I was lovely to have an historic room when visiting Salem - it added to our experience! Breakfast was delicious and charming, staff helpful and room spacious, clean and comfy. Try this one!
We had a great experience at the Salem inn. We had a very comfortable nights sleep & they catered for our needs such as wifi & continental breakfast. The room was like a bedsit which was fully equipped but without the kitchen sink or fridge. I'd highly recommend this Inn. Salem is a very quaint & tranquil place & the Salem Inn just added to it.
What's not to like
Nice breakfast in a lovely room. Size of accommodation.
Looked like it had been furnished from a second hand shop - all mismatched. Would have expected luxury - soft furnishings, fireplace etc. but was very basic. Second bed was a put- u- up.
The look of the room, the AC unit, the location.
The shower, the soap dispenser is at a bad location. The bathroom door is also hard to open and close.
Proximity to attractions continental breakfast
One of the beds in our room needs to be replaced.
I enjoyed the fact that it is a historic building and within walking distance to many attractions. The included breakfast was good.
The shower in the room I stayed was very small. Charging twenty dollars extra for a roll away bed was not necessary.
The stairs to reach our room
Decor- cleanliness-authenticity- nice breakfast
Wifi did not work, parking is horrible and be prepared for no modern conveniences, but I was aware of that going into a historic hotel.
Location was great - you can walk to everything
Breakfast was only just OK - nothing hot. I couldn't adjust the room temperature & was freezing.
Bathroom door has no handle . No screwholes to suggest there ever was a handle .
Spacious rooms in Victorian style. We had a family room with kitchen. Location: directly near all the mean attractions and restaurants (and the hospital which we unfortunately needed). The complimentary Port in the lobby room ! Nice breakfast, but typical for USA: lots of sweet food. Great quiche though !
No safe. One woman at the desk who was not friendly at all.
Great hotel friendly staff walking distance to area attractions
Location Comfort, look and feel of the room & house . . .
We enjoyed the Salem Inn being in the center of Salem. We did not have to move our auto during our stay, everything is in walking distance. The breakfast at the inn was a great start to a busy day, delicious food and enjoyed the room in the basement.
We liked everything about the inn, but did find Salem lacking in seafood restaurants. Also, was very disappointed on the cemetery. Nice plague on the front of the cemetery, but no way to determine where the grave sites are inside the cemetery. They need to be marked.
We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a full kitchen. Inn entry was beautifully decorated. The included breakfast was very good.
The kids' room was close to the street and noisy - even at night. The master bedroom didn't have a TV. The bathroom sink did not drain properly.
Walkability to all the tourist sites in Salem. Room was very clean and quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Shower stall very small. A bit pricey.
Quaintness of Inn. Check in girl very sweet and went out of her way to get us more pillows. Older woman in breakfast room so nice!! Breakfast was also very good. Very clean cute room.
Pillows were terrible. Bed very uncomfortable. No parking even though site states ample parking.
I liked that it was historical.
The Salem Inn is 3 houses. I was in the Curwen House, 3rd floor. The bed was very uncomfortable. It was definitely worn out. We could feel lumps in it and it was hard. My pillow was so flat it was nearly nonexistent. It is not located next to the main house therefore we had to walk around the block to get to the continental breakfast. My recommendation is based on my experience with the Curwen House. The other two houses may be acceptable.
Wifi was not available in our 3rd floor room. Had to go down to living room to connect. It was advertised as available in the rooms.
Place was great .
Charming! In the center of Stowe and nice, friendly little town.
Airconditioner was in the lower wall blocked by the bed. Very chilly for the person right next to it! (Me!)
Loved the claw foot tub, spacious bathroom
The bed was as hard as a rock, no vending machine for bottled water.
