Hotel is old and dated. Really needs a makeover.

I like the ocean view, the facility access.

I didn't like was when we were grilling was a lots of dogs in the area. The dog owners have them going around the barbecue area.

no clean towels for pool, ran out of continental breakfast only 45 minutes into time frame, had to call for maintenence for cable television because it was static and unable to watch (never did get it fixed). No extra pillows, none available.

Sink in the bathroom. Bathroom right next to the bed.

Checkin was easy and informative- The room was clean and did not smell which had happened to us perviously at ocean shores (not at the sands) The bathroom was great with the update!

Higher price when I got there then the quote and it took half hour for the hot water to finally get to the tub and continental breakfast was not like the other places I have been to. I expected it to be like comfort inn.

Location/proximity to beach ambience

Ice cold bathroom floor inadequate bathroom heat no bathroom ventilation ridiculously low shower head (made for midgets) no towel or clothes hooks at all! Limited choices on "continental breakfast" (not worth paying extra for)

Room was very nice on inside Staff was very hospitable and gave great recommendation on local food and entertainment.

Outside of building is old and weathered. In need of being updated so it does not look so much like a dive.

The bed was very very saggy. It could be worse though :)

I liked the location near the beach. I liked the size of the rooms when I got what i paid for

I was put in the wrong room, there were not enough beds. I had to sleep on the floor the first night. I ask when I was checking in about the amount of beds and was told that this is what they had. i was tired and did not realize that i had paid for a two bedroom suite. the next day after sleeping on the floor I went back and looked at my reservation and found that we should have been put in the wrong room. I brought this to the attention of the person at the desk and we were moved to the correct room. we were given a discount of about 50 dollars. this mix up sour our visit a lot.

The location was very convenient. The breakfasts were as good as most other places I've visited. The staff was friendly but you need another person, especially at breakfast time and for evening check-in. Wis I would recommend the Sands to budget-minded friends, but it was not

No pbs tv channel! The Fox network is a lousy substitute. I was grateful that the bathroom felt clean though it would have helped to have a fan to clear out the shower fog. Also, the lighting was not good for those of us who like to read in bed. The windows were cloudy and should be replaced. We had an ocean view but it was pretty hard to see through the moisture between the panes. Wish you had a "maybe" category for #5. I would recommend the Sands to budget-minded friends, but it lacked amenities that many people are used to.

Tne spa, continental breakfast, easy access to the beach

No Fan in bathroom!

Great location. Friendly people. Comfortable, clean large rooms. Nice fireplace. Kitchen equipped with necessities.

Beach access from the hotel was challenging because of water but it really did pose that big of a problem.

It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was quiet too.

Not the hotel's fault, but no view.

Location .... Steps from the beach and shopping don't need your car much at all

The building is in serious disrepair, dirty rooms, old nasty towels, guests party hard noise level quite excessive all night long, staff no where to be found after 11pm -8am pool very dirty, literally and large naked drunk chicks, clam cleaning area hasn't been cleaned all season...... Disgusting

poor Continental breakfast lack of hot water

I had requested a non-smoking room. The first room I was given smelled horrible, like stale old smoke. The second room was better but the deadbolt didn't lock and I felt uneasy.

Room was clean kitchen resonably stocked with basics kids enjoyed the game room and pool

Pet friendly and you could smell a damp dog febreeze and a great product called fresh wave could help with that.

The room was adequate

No ice machine. Not enough morning help to cover the breakfast
