Very large, stylish and well equipped room. Service was perfect - from the exceptionally helpful receptionists to the excellent team manning the doors and lift. A grand hotel which has kept up to date without losing its style. Perfect location.

Air conditioning a bit noisy

The hotel is excelent. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the location is also great because you can enjoy the upper city and the subway is right in the corner! Totally recommended!!

Super service, elegance, and comfortable rooms with the best decor and beds. When in New York The Sherry Nederland is a very good choice and it is in the center of all things to do. Our stay could not have been better.

It takes a long time to get hot water

- Big room, small bathroom - big beds - roomservice ok good food - helpful people at front desk - small bottle of champagne on NYE - Complimentary coffee - Complimentary wifi

- Airco was loud and blowing cold air when stand by - janitor came to fix it and told me in very bad English I should cover it with towels or blankets because it's normal cold wind is blown in airco (in a 750 dollar per night room???) - Eventually asked him to check again cause room was so cold - cold air was caused by broken window. He jammed it down so cold air stopped. - On NYE we were back at 3 in the morning hoping for good rest, at 7am family next door were so loud I was thinking they were standing in our room. Rooms are interconnected with just a door, so you can here everything in the other room. Same story every morning during our 3 night stay - No view in courtyard king 750 dollar/night room - Room was not clean. Bathroom had shower curtain with hair in. Toilet was not clean on sides. - We could use bathrobes but one had a big obvious hole in the front Overall, nice looking hotel in very good location if you are visiting just for few days and mostly 5th ave and central park. But for this money you expect the best in NY, and that was definitely not our experience. Been to 3 hotels on this trip and there were much better hotels with same space and amenities but located between 40th and 50th on 5th ave. If you can't open a door and you really need a bellman to do it for you, or if you can't push a button in the elevator, this is the hotel you're looking for. Otherwise, find a better hotel that is much cheaper or same price but much better standards.

This was my second stay at the hotel in the past two months. I really have enjoyed both my experiences. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Anything you need they try to provide always with a smile. The hotel is perfectly located to suite my tastes and needs. I love how elegant but comfy the rooms are complete with everything I need during my stay. For me the hotel is perfect and I never want to stay anywhere else when visiting NYC.

this is a gorgeous hotel, right across the road from Central Park and walking distance to Times Square, old world charm, friendly staff, couldnt have asked for anything more.

Room was large and comfortable- staff friendly and helpful. Level of service including lift attendants is so much nicer than the experience given in most modern impersonal hotels

The location on 5th Avenue opposite Central Park and within easy walking distance or short taxi ride of the main New York attraction was excellent .The staff are friendly and knowledgeable of the sites and the best way to get to them.The housekeeping of the room was of an excellent standard.The room was very quite considering the traffic outside.

Had trouble with setting the right temperature with the air conditioning to avoid it coming on and off during the night.

It has been a pleasure to stay at sn, the park view is espectacular! Do suggest to request a higher level Room. They are in the middle of an redesign of the rooms so you should also request a room far from the hammering.

помимо того, что за проживание деньги списали в день бронирования, при заезде списали с карточки еще 1000 долларов как залог. оставшуюся сумму (часть проели в ресторане, в том числе завтрак) вернули, но в первый момент испортили романтическое настроение.

Hotel excelente, serviços impecáveis, localização fantástica, WiFi nos quartos, chocolates Godiva como boas-vindas, nos sentimos em um hotel de luxo.

Não utilizar o restaurante anexo ao hotel (Cipriani). Muito caro!

O Hotel tem uma excelente equipe, educada e atenta às necessidades dos hóspedes. Na chegada fomos recebidos no quarto com flores, chocolates Godiva e um cartao personslizado. O hotel oferece internet gratuita, jornais diarios e bebidas de cortesia no frigobar. Fiquei com meu marido e meu bebê de 7 meses, tivemos um berço no quarto, pedimos para que esquentassem algumas papinhas pra nós, tudo correu bem. Também pude receber encomendas por correio livremente, e foram entregues no quarto.

Uma experiência fantástica. Excelente localização, excelente atendimento, excelente conforto. Como o prédio é misto com apertamentos particulares e quartos de hotel, tem-se uma ideia muito próxima do estilo de vida de NY.
