Many stuff in room don't work but housekeeper ignored them, for example, clock beside bed stopped. It's really inconvenient for us because we from NYC where have different time, I can't know what the exactly time everyday. Second, there is a tissue box without tissue everyday. So why you put a box there????????
Place of the hotel,near to metro,helpfull stuff,clean rooms,good breakfast
Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Check in is easy and staff accommodating ,
Interior design appealed to me. Nice exercise facility.
Restaurant was too expensive. Had to venture out to find an affordable place.
Prefer more drink options at bar!!
The location is prefect!! And the staff was really nice too. I enjoyed staying there.
The food... I mean the dinning, not the bar.
My only compliant is the fact that there are no ice machines available on the floors, it is inconvinent to have to call someone or go to the front desk.
The ambiance of the hotel as well wonderful. Our room was clean, spacious, and decorated beautifully !
Construction in front of the hotel...
Location. Parking situation. No ice machine in room. No bathtub
This hotel is in the loop, near everything we wanted to see and do. Since it is right on the Orange Line, it was really easy to get from Midway Airport to the hotel. When I called the hotel before arriving, the gentlemen at the front desk provided excellent information about how to get to the hotel. When we arrived, the same gentleman was at the desk and gave us great suggestions about where to eat nearby. This was especially important because the 5th worst snowstorm in Chicago history hit while we were there. Another staff member went out of her way to help us warm up some drink. Great experience all the way around!
No microwave in the room
The cleanliness of the hotel and its modern updates with the preservation of its heritage. The staff were awesome. The beds were so comfortable.
We have no feed back on how to improve as everything was awesome!
The localization of the hotel is very good, in the heart of the city. Very easy to go to the main tourist points. the employees are very polite.
It was clean. It was quite.
Higher speed for internet.
Great location, close to the loop and within walking distance of all the attractions. Warm when Chicago was experiencing minus 26 Fahrenheit temperatures
Wifi not particularly strong but wasn't important to us
Nice room Staff was helpful Manager worked with us to compensate for poor experience
When arriving in our room it was apparent the bathroom was not clean. There was pubic hair in our bathtub, hair on our sink and spots in our shower and toilet. They tried to switch rooms but that was not possible. Unfortunately there is no cleaning staff after 11pm so they sent a security guard to our room to clean it. He tried his best but we didn't really want to use the bathroom. He also left the cleaning solution in our room. The next day I spoke with Hans the manager and he was very sorry for our poor experience and comped us. We will try the hotel again and hopefully have a better experience the next time around.
Bed, bathroom, heating system, hospitality, everything is top class..
Nothing not to like here...
Price and location
Room size small for 4 persons
Good location, beautiful interior, friendly staff.
In one room a pipe broke in the bathroom and water leaked. In the other room the bathroom door was somehow crooked so that it got stuck. It happened in the middle of the night, so we had to call someone to open it. They did not worn us about a quite large deposit that they charged.
everything. The location is just 1 block from everything.
The best features of the hotel were the helpful, hospitable employees and the truly excellent cocktail lounge. The bartenders were top-notch as were their craft cocktails. The chef was also very accommodating, adjusting menu items to suit food allergies and picky eaters in our group.
For all their spaciousness the rooms aren't really that commodious: a lot of "walking around space" but not a lot of decent storage or horizontal space, especially in the bathroom. Water temperature was so hard to control we risked scalding and the low water pressure made washing hair impossible. The pull-out bed is really only big enough for 1 person, not two. If you have two small kids I guess it might be okay but never big enough for two people. There was only one ripped up cotton blanket. My daughter froze. Management was very nice about our complaints and left milk and cookies in our room.
super low speed wifi. Almost like nothing
It is very clean and modern, and in a great location. Even though the L was near-by, it was not as loud as at the Palmer House.
There are no ice machines or towel racks. The heat seemed to alternate so sometimes the room was hot and other times cold.
Staff was super friendly & helpful. Was quiet enough next to the L Walk in double sized shower. Bedding was fantastic.
Restaurant fare was a little off the wall if you are a regular meat & potatoes person. Kind of expensive if eating in, but the food was excellent.
We were taken back by how large the hotel room was, the decorations and the overall cozy atmosphere. Staying in the room made our vacation that much more enjoyable!
No extra pillow case for spare pillow in closet.
You were able to hear the L running all night
