Cozy little apartment
Would have liked if wash clothes and basic cleaning supplies like broom, sponge dish soap and trash bags were provided
I loved the location
Toilet handle was broken ...it work just had to push in
Free wi fi, kitchenette, Gym & view.
Staff not so friendly. Not so clean, in fact the bathroom floor was full of hair from previous guests & shower curtain was so mouldy. It looks like the cleaning crew just suface clean. Waiti g for someone to come down & get u is just pathetic & while that particular block is ok, one block over to thr right or left is so bad & not what u would expect from San Francisco. This area is home of the homeless & the smell of urine in the streets is overwhelming.

Roomy and it looked like the pictures.
The people who I called through booking.com were very rude, unorganized, and wouldn't have given me the room I booked if I didn't call a week before. Im glad room looked good but they were awful.
they gave us a great discount to compensate for not honouring our Original booking, so we had a great apartment at a bloody great price. We used the money to buy the toilet paper which was missing from our room.
They did not have our booking and gave us one which I did not think was a fair equivalent. I get the impression this happens quite frequently which is a shame as it brings down the quality of their service. There was no toilet paper in our room and no way of contacting someone to help.
I got in very late at night and I got a very warm welcome from the guy at the reception. I read lots of reviews from so many sites after I book the room and I was quite scared and I was there by myself for a week.I ended up feel like home and I will definitely go back again. What I like about the place the room is good big and cosy, kitchen, view from my room, gym, security system, location is best for me to get around by walking to market street and union square, close to super market, restaurants are walking distant, easy to get to bus station.staff are friendly.
This hotel is more like service apartment so don't expect to have someone come clean your room everyday, there are so many homeless and junky around but they weren't harm for me. There is no parking if you come with car uou gotta walk a few blocks away to park and the parking price is like 19$a day...some closer space like Holiday Inn is way too expensive to park. It might be hard to get hold of the staff cos they on 19 floor on another building so you gotta try to email and call them a say or to in advance to make sure you got everything.
Comfortable and homely
Checking in and out was a nightmare. Worst experience ever. Staff is very unprofessional and always late.
The room was ok.... If you can get one. Don't go in the summer though since there is no ac.
Took over 2 hours to "Check-in", was told there were no more rooms available and that they over booked. Was forced to drive around to other buildings in bad neighborhoods to look at other rooms they owned, one of which was occupied when we walked in with the soma staff. Soma Suites overbooks all the rooms and shuffles you around to different peoples apartments in various neighborhoods until you find one you like. If you book with them it is at your own risk, don't let them put you anywhere else. Demand that they put you in a room at the address you made your reservation!
I loved the view and the spaciousness of the apartment plus the fact that it is so close to the Powell Street station and the shops on Market.
I think the apartment should have a microwave and cleaning products. Also, it was very difficult to contact someone in the building by telephone to get the key. My advice is to go directly to the location and the front desk security can contact the office.
The staff and management were Unwilling to help when I requested to pay for an extra night due to my flight delay, they don't reply to emails nor do the answer the phone,
Close to the highstreet
Bad area. Meeting point of Homeless and crazy people. Be carefull if you travel alone. I wouldn't book in this area anymore.
The room is incredible! It is such good value for money - exactly like the pictures. Our stay was very comfortable, we would stay there again.
The check in process went well for me, because the staff member was at the door on his way in checking someone else in. However - as we are from Australia - we did not have a local cell phone to call if anything went wrong, or any way to book our check in so we were lucky. We also asked for a late checkout by emailing the address which we were given to contact staff and no one replied. This wouldnt have been a problem if we were local and had a local phone number, but makes it a bit trickier for international guests.
Location provided easy access to the city by foot, bart or MuniSF» Clean & tastefully decorated suite. B uilding very clean & quiet @ any hour! All kitchen appliances & technology in working order. Concierge was courteous & efficient!
The room was beyond my expectations
The waiting time to check in
Central location in a new building with modern design of the suite. Huge glass windows, with a nice view from the 23rd floor. Huge bathroom, nice little kitchen. They let check-in a few hours earlier, and let us leave the bags in the office for the rest of the day the morning we checked out.
At times the office did not pick up my phonecalls. No paper towels and salt-pepper in the kitchen.
Great view from 23rd floor, perfect location. I was worried about homeless people mentioned in the reviews but they are part of landscape in SF and never bothered me
The apartments are really cutE, the beds are amazing. Great price for what you get.
Separate WiFi for every apartment, close to BART station.
My expected apartment was occupied so I needed to stay for one night in the other apartment and then to move to the first one. Nobody apologized. The one-night apartment wasn't bad but the toilet was absolutely dirty and disgusting. Just was too tired to go back to the office after the long flight. The second apartment was clean with a beautiful view but it wasn't cleaned during a week. It is also difficult to reach the office, so if you, for example, need to leave your luggage after checkout you should know that sometimes it is possible only after noon and you may need to wait for a long time to get your luggage back.
The view was great at night. The room was spacious. Comfortable bed.
The view was horrible during the day. You're directly across the street from a homeless shelter. Check in is awkward and uncomfortable!
The staff were helpful and we enjoyed the flat very new and well furnished.
I have booked 1 month ago. When i go to san francisco, the plane was delayed so i called to office that i will be late and i will be there 9:00 pm. Finally i arrived, but they said no more room and will return my money. It was 30 dec!! it is so expensive for booking another hotel sameday. But they just said it was overbooked and they can refund. The services totally poor and I don't know why they were working there
The place, the staff and the apartment, in general.
Poor maintainance follow-up, with some out of order equipments and kitchen missing items. A very, very, small table...
The design and layout of the flat was excellent. It captured a stylish but homely feel that a hotel cannot offer. Spotlessly clean and with all the utilities I could have needed.
Staff were not available for queries and didn't fix the broken toilet despite that fact I logged a call. On arrival it took a long time for them to come and show me the flat key.
