The ability to use the facilities are Congress Hall
Cleanliness of hotel Location to heart of town center Pool usage at Congress Hall
Room is a bit on the small side but we don't stay there too long except to sleep!
It was on the beach. Rusty nail with the fire pit and live musicians. Sat on our balcony, drank wine and listened to live music.
Everything was awesome. Maybe the decor was plain, but I didn't mind that much considering the spot/view/pool. Wifi didn't work...only wanted to search area, but map was fine.
Great location in a beautiful town. fantastic beaches and natural park.
Bed was very uncomfortable!
The location was ideal for going to the beach and using the Congress Hall pool. The staff were very friendly, helpful and informative.
We stayed in the inn and found our room to be extremely tight for two adults and two children. After going to the beach, we didn't have many options for placing sandy, wet beach towels and clothing to dry. More hooks would have been wonderful. I would recommend families choose a larger room or stay in the efficiencies.
Love everything, from the swing in the front yard to the bench in the back yard, not mention the full facilities in the suite, I can cook! I was staying in Star Inn, closer to the beach and quiet.
Great location. Bit pricey for small room but they all are in Cape May. Can use Congress pool so that's definite bonus. Will definitely return but probably spend extra for a bigger unit with balcony and kitchenette.
Great location...right next to Congress Hall/Blue Pig Tavern, the beach, and the downtown shops of Cape May. The Star Inn has an antique feel with all the modern amenities. The room was cozy; the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was contemporary. I would definitely go back.
Use of congress hall amenities and location to beach and Washington street mall.
As always, we enjoyed the central location for all we like to do..especially parking. We like to be able to enjoy the amenities of Congress Hall...the efficiency unit provides us comfortable surroundings and especially appreciated the newly planted impatiens in our back garden.
It was a little inconvenient to have a huge diesel crane running at our front door...sound and fuel odor...we realize the job had to be done however this time it did spoil the natural beauty and peacefulness that we enjoy 1-2 times a year
room size and price
location was great.
very confusing with check in. Had to find Congress Hall in the pouring rain. Should have had sign or arrow pointing in the direction of Hall.
We stay at the Star frequently. We love the way the rooms are set up, very comfortable and efficient. Breakfast at the Blue Pig is also excellent and the location is perfect.
One minor point - the shower faucet is very awkward. Otherwise, great place!
the good reaction of the receptionnist after we were given a dirty room
very dirty bathroom. outdated equipments except the reception gentleman on arrival, the barman and the young russian girl at breakfast , the rest of the staff is specially unfriendly, not smiling,
This inn is part of a larger historic hotel. All registration staff are across the street at the hotel. Somewhat inconvenient for late arrivals. I booked late afternoon on day of arrival and ended up in an attic room, two flights up with no elevator. Small room with view of rooftop. Nice amenities but overpriced at $120 plus per night. Foyer coffee/bakery wasn't open the next morning.
Proximity to the mall and beach and restaurants
The nosie of the fan in the room overnight. (heat*air conditioning)
Bar and restaurant
Bed was not comfortable at all
I loved the building, location, bed , bathroom, color scheme
I was wondering why I Got a room on third floor in back with one small window and no view when as far as I could tell I was the only one in the building
Room was so small and only one small chair to sit in,could hear people in the next room across the hall. Not what we were expecting.
comfortable bed and location to Congress Hall - we very much enjoyed our evening in the bar/lounge
stains on sofas
The Ice machine did not work. They put is on the top floor with a sharp angled ceiling. We each bumped our heads at least once.
Location, design, coziness, cleanliness, access to Congress Hall; dinner at the Blue Pig - excellent; unexpected and appreciated breakfast to go ; on a birding trip so had to get out early so ability to pick up coffee and breakfast sandwich at the Folly was perfect
