Overall liked it, though would have liked it more without the very sparing water-saving showerheads that let out a very weak stream. We had a sink that barely drained at all, which you would think they would have noticed, but I suppose these things happen.
For the quaintness of the place, it was surprising that the breakfast was not much more than shrink-wrapped pastries like you'd get in a gas station, and when they ran out of coffee, it was a long wait before another big pot was ready. But, oh well, so for breakfast go to Perreca's on North Jay Street - wonderful place with outdoor seating and their own bakery.
Charming, with very friendly staff. Quiet street, not far from some nice restaurants, like Thai Thai just 2 blocks away, and a short drive to Ferrari's, which is wonderful Italian. Rooms are lovely, with a bed-and-breakfast feel (though breakfast does not).
