The surrounding neighborhood was not safe. The hallway smelled like smoke and I woke up with bug bites. I will not be staying here again.
Most of the staff were more then willing to help me. The owner even gave me his parking space when the lot was full! On my last night I got a newly remodeled room that made my last night comfortable after putting me in a non-smoking room
My first room smelled so bad I had to buy air freshener, candles and plug inns! The air conditioner was leaking which made the carpet wet to which the mildew smell was fierce. I kept complaining but the hotel was booked up! Then they switched my room to another that smelt worst! They stated that my reservation which was made through booking.com was for a smoking room to which I don't smoke! Most of my bad marks come from this it kind of out weighed the good!
Good location to go by car. Walk is little bit scaring (seem to have some gang action around)
The location was great....sleeping was good.
I had a reservation with booking.com for 188 for two nights. When we got there the girl at the desk was amazing and helpful. The manager was rude, talked under his breath and overcharged us. Our total went from 188 to 311
The rooms are very small unless you book a suite. The suites are about the size of a regualr hotel room
The service from the staff was wonderful. And plenty of fresh coffee throughout the day.
The room accommodations were aweful and the rooms have an odor.
The Front Desk Officer-Monica was excellent in customer service and reception...
The Environment didn't seem Safe...
The serenity on the pplace and connectivity.
They need to serve breakfast.
Switched rooms three times due to smells and dirtiness. At last, they sent us to the third floor (supposedly newly reno ated) . Non-smoking room smelled like smoke.....no remote controls for the TV's and light bulbs were missing. The attentandts tried to accomodate the poor condtions but nothing can excuse the "newly renovated" hotel where the windows didn't work and the caulking covered up rotten wood and mildew. Pay a little more or expect what you pay for in this area. Ps-reminded me of "The Shining" or some rehab facility!!!!!
the hotel staff was very very friendly. Anything we needed they helped.
Hotel smells like major water damage had to change rooms. Windows were off track. Baby critters in bathroom. Mildew smell. My bed was broke slanted on left side no box spring .
Worst Hotel ever! I would never go back. None of the appliances worked because the sockets didn't work! There were roaches in the room. The shower is small.
hotel needs upgrading ,very small room, comfort poor.
Location to concert
Only 3 lights worked and no bath tub
It was only a couple blocks away from piedmont park. It was cheap and affordable, and comfortable enough.
Our pull out couch sheet was dirty and we noticed there wasn't any fire alarms.
It was in a convienant location and good rates
The shower water was cold
The staff was by far the best thing about this hotel, very friendly and courteous, they went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible
Location from midtown concert was within walking distance !
The day before I was to leave to arrive I call to check my reservation and they couldnt find it however the problem was resolved later :)
Convenient location, friendly staff
tiny room (could barely open the door); only 2 out of 6 outlets worked (one for the tv and one for the fridge...all other outlets didn't work); found French fries under our bed...we were there 3 nights and had no food in the room.
The staff was not helpful at all. They lost my reservation and didn't tell me until they made me wait around 30 minutes. Didn't seem to care that they were a huge inconvenience to me.
Smelled like smoke. Right when we walked in our room the place was a dump. None of the previous trash was taken out. Also, there was crumbs all over the floor. When we walked in the bedroom, none of the beds were made. There was no sheets in the room or pillow cases. Then when we checked out the bathroom, we noticed a good bit of mold growing over the shower. The location felt extremely unsafe too.
I did not like the room at all! The lobby looks nice and neat with some new refurbished furniture, but little did we know that was just a store front. When booking the hotel the pictures they show of the rooms look some what decent. The rooms didn't look too big or too small! My boyfriend and I weren't expecting anything outstanding, but we were expecting a room that would be cleanly and bigger than a cube. When we walking into the room we were very surprised of how small the room was, how dirty the carpet was and the very small full size bed. I was very disappointed with the stay, and when I asked to change rooms nobody was of any help. I do not recommend staying here
Cheap when I booked on booking.com but not when I got to the hotel.. Hotel manager said to cheap and charged me double.. Luckily Booking.com made up the difference
I showed and they had overbooked hotel. Sat in the lobby for an hour then the room magically appeared but they would only hold the reservation if I payed double the price that I was promised on booking.com... This was the grossest and ruddiest hotel I have ever stayed in.. Serious black mold problems.. Sheets were very dirty and room was not cleaned during stay.. I can't believe dhec lets them stay open......DONT Stay here if you care about your health....
The Free Wifi, and the front desk receptionist when we checked in were excellent.
Hotel had a damp smell, carpets were terrible, there was a roach in the shower, and the outlets by the sink did not work. If you need a quick place to stay on short notice, then this is the hotel for you.
My room door would close all the way and the room smelled like dead rats
The staff was very courteous and helpful
the facility itself was run down. furniture in the rooms were just placed that didn't make sense.I think the price should have been cheaper until all the renovation were complete.
