Quiet, clean, quite roomy and well equiped appartment; Secure Neighbourhood; beautiful historic site; Subway Station and supermarket just 1 minute away; friendly and helpful landlord; on our last day we were allowed to check out late afternoon without being charged - very nice; subway ride to centre (42nd street) only about 15 minutes and about 30 minutes to WTC (A-Train express)
- beds are comfortable (matrice) but very narrow; very constricted room in bedrooms but not too bad because the livinroom is quite roomy; no towels changed; no cleaning during stay (six nights)
Everything! Excellent apt for by daughter & I and 2 grandkids. Close to Times Sq Front desk personnel - the best! Clean, very attractive. Excellent value for the $ they let us leave our baggage after we ck'd out until we left the city. A++++
The Owner is very friendly ,and really switched on. the facilities are great ! the place is clean , full equiped . We had a great stay !
Close proximity to subway and grocery store. Nice quiet street. Apartment is really cool.
There was confusion over which apartment we were supposed to be in, owner contacted us by phone to give us instructions and said he could see us but we never saw him at all during our stay! And when we tried to contact him to ask questions on a couple of problems we had we could not make contact at all.
I enjoyed the neighbourhood and location. Transit from this location was easily accessible and so were the necessary amenities, like laundry, grocery stores, etc.
The website gave a very unclear portrayal of the exact suite we payed for. It clearly showed pictures of our suite as well as the 'large' main floor house that we thought we were paying for. There were no options given on the website for the basement, which was what we stayed in, or for the upstairs main house, which all four travelers thought we had paid for. Imagine our huge amount of disappointment when we arrived after 11 hours of road travel to find that we were definitely misled into paying for a place we would not have booked having known the truth that we just paid $2400 for a basement when we expected an above ground place with outdoor patio, bbq, 4 beds, etc.. Instead, we had to take turns sleeping on the couch. Lastly, two days into the rental the internet went down, and the landlord was unreachable for the rest of the week until our final day. So you could only imagine how difficult it was for everyone to communicate with each other being that we were all from out of town.
