ambiance was great
Great location and view of the Hudson. Retains historical look. I love coming back and staying here!
Even a very small continential breakfast would have been nice. The window seal in our room was broken, the window was so foggy we couldn't see the beautiful view of the Hudson.
Location, location, location. Visiting cadets at West Point and found the location wonderful. Very friendly staff. Loved the history of the place.
Nothing not to like - great place
Very nice hotel. Great staff and very good restaurants Beautiful views of Hudson River Will stay here on all future visits to West Point
The breakfast at MacArthur's was not even mediocre. The buffet eggs were cold, the coffee luke warm and the service was poor. We dined at Patton Tavern on one evening and had a positive experience. Kudos to Jason, Agnes and Larry for their friendly service.
It was a clean, comfortable stay with accommodating staff.
THIS WAS THE WORST NIGHT EVER SPENT AT ANY HOTEL. WAS WARNED BY THE FRONTDESK OF RAILROAD NOISE.WAS OFFERED EAR PLUGS BUT NOT A DIFFERENT ROOM. UNRULY GUESTS. SOUND PROOFING NEEDED.
Despite the luxurious appointments, the soap and shampoo dispensers on the wall of the shower were pedestrian and difficult to use. I went down the street to by soap and shampoo.
The linens and towels were top-notch. The room was well-lit and the wifi was fast and easily accessible. The highlight of my stay was the staff and the service they each provide. Excellent, outstanding, and superb!
Food options, train noise
History and connected theme to west point. Staff.
location, delicious lattes, charming of the hotel
No bad experiences, but it is pricey.
You can't beat the location. If you are visiting West Point, that is the place to be.
the convenience of staying on post is immeasurable.
The people staying next to us were sick vomiting and we could hear EVERYTHING.For the price expected more...like not hearing every heave from our neighbor!
Room was cold, drafty, and small.
The buikding is beautiful. The pub and restaurant delicious.
Somewhat expensive. Dinner at the hotel was also expensive, but very good.
The staff was outstanding, very friendly and welcoming. Every interaction with staff was positive.
Great and responsive staff. Very polite and accomodating.
We got an upgrade to a suite from a double which was really nice. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
The room was cold, then hot and we could not regulate temperature in one spot. The blower on the heater/air conditioning unit was too loud to sleep.
The food and history!
early morning evacuation prompted by hotel fire alarm (precautionary because of broken steam pipe); no direction from hotel staff about where to assemble or when to return inside hotel.
Staff was friendly; room overlooking Hudson River was wonderful.
The freight train going by every 3 hours during the night is eough for me not to stay again. I don't think it matters what side of the hotel you stay in, it will sill wake you up.
The staff was excellent and attentve. Teh room was very clean as well as the bathroom.
Not a bad experience . Do you know when the hotel will honor American Express Credit Card? Would like to have put room on credit card.
Excellent location for trip and friendly staff.
Lighting in my room was only fair.
Hamburger in the bar was flawless.
the bed was extremely comfortable..and the staff was very friendly and accomodating
