Ease of getting anywhere on cape
Noisy, heavy footed people above us
Location to Main Street LOVE the 50's Diner Pond & BBQ area
The bed was a little on the hard side
Restaurant, hearing the People in other rooms. And the pools closing early
the tidewater is a very clean place to stay everyone there is so nice.
I wish it had a loveseat instead of the chairs for watching tv .
Extremely accommodating. Perfect location on the main strip.
Friendly, very helpful staff. The front desk was busy on arrival, but there were enough staff that there was no more than a minute wait. The rooms were clean and roomy. I definitely would stay here again.
It was a pleasant experience, nothing to write negatively.
We got in very late on Friday/Saturday. We got up early Saturday morning to get on the ferry to Nantucket. So we did not get to walk around the premises. Like we wanted to, we plan on coming back before the end of the summer. I believe our children will really like Tidewater.
The staff person who checked us out, may have been having a bad morning, it was reflected in our check out.
Bathroom floor had mold. Beds were hard. Musty smell in room and hallway. Vacuuming upstairs at 7am woke us up. I was happy to have a fridge. TV was extremely small, but good channel selection. Was glad to see there was at least no bedbugs.
Loved the playground for my two year old, the pool and breakfast was great. Location was perfect and having our own private deck with water view of marsh was nice on the hot summer night. The room was average. Comfy bed and shower clean.
The only gross part of my stay was the carpet. My sons feet were black walking around bare foot. That was gross... I would replace those rugs or get them steam cleaned!
Room very comfortable and nicely furnished.
Parking spaces should have been plowed as guests left, to gradually reduce the snow and ice near the downstairs rooms during recent snow storm.
convenient location &friendly staff
the room was outdated and unclean. it could really use some updating some paint and a new carpet. at least the sheets and the shower were clean. I was uncomfortable letting my 11 month old crawl on the floor. thin walls and a lot of banging and noise
Very clean and well kept...have been going here for years!!!
Not perfectly located, but Tidewater made up for that in the friendliness of the staff, value, facilities, cleanliness and comfort. And not forgetting the amazing on-site breakfast diner! The guy on reception was very helpful and gave hints and tips on local eateries and things to do. It was very quiet (perhaps the time of year) and the indoor pool was a big plus.
As mentioned, not the best location for food/sights within walking distance. But most things were a reasonably short drive away.
When we checked in the man in the office was incredibly nice.
Being unaware they were going to be testing the fire alarms. Would have appreciated being told upon check in that it was going to be done or having a note put under the door letting us know.
Charles on the reception desk is extremely nice, and very helpful. We liked the scenic view from our room, and the walls are quite thick which eliminates a lot of noise....quite a bonus!! We will definitely stay here again.
The fact that there isn't anyone on the front desk overnight....I think this would be a huge improvement!
Clean and affordable. Room was extremely nice and the staff was wonderful! Late check-in was very convenient.
location was great ....mid cape able to go any direction to go where we wanted....price was great deal for 2 nite stay
no elevator....and air fresher used in rooms blew out my alligies
Location. Staff was friendly. 50's diner food was amazing
Room smelled of some frebreze or something overpowering remained intire stay. turned heat on due to cold nights smoke alarm went off. Not able to use indoor pool because of children running around. Children in hot tub Felt like area was a daycare center at 8:00pm
Friendliness, Clean, Helen's Diner, Price, Location, Quiet. Beds comfortable and do not have duvets!
Wish there was an elevator. We like top floors so we'll do the stairs but no it is not going to happen. That's all though we don't like.
half price at Helens diner for repeat guests. we stayed there twice before and loved it each time
staff was very helpful. A budget friendly hotel, Location only 5 minutes from Hyanas, secure, beds firm. clean room
It was all very nice. You were recommended by a close freind. But she was able to receive a cheaper rate.
It's a good location, close to Hyannis. Maps and other info are provided.
It took some time before a receptionist, who was absorbed in her conversation with her colleague, noticed our presence and started serving us. Everything (walls in the hallway, bath, toilet bowl and facets in the room) looked a bit worn-out. The carpeting in the room and in the hallway was smelly and didn't look clean. It give you 70's- 80's impression. The entries at Helen's diner are way overpriced.
The room smelt like cats had messed on the rug. We were offered a different room and it also had the same smell
Everything was clean staff was excellent. Diner on site was very good.
