Time Hotel  

Location was excellent. We used the bar on the ground level and this was very nice also. Christopher, the bell hop in the hotel was excellent. When we got to the hotel, it was early and he secured our luggage and the brought it to the room. He was easy to talk with and made sure we new where we was going when leaving the hotel to journey for the day. All in all!!! Excellent stay.

I really appreciated the friendly staff. From our early arrival at check in the staff was very accomodating and had some great tips for enjoying the city and the woman checking us in wanted to make sure we had a safe experience. The valet Christopher even volunteered himself to get us coffee and hot chocolate and muffins since I was travelling alone with children and might not want to step out without them. A+ service! Everyone was very polite and had a smile on their faces. Also, the bedding was soft and comfortable.

- We was in Room 2001, very noisy by the noise of elevator whole night long (can't sleep) - I booked in the booking.com the King ROOM, but they gave me the Queen ROOM (I can dustinguish by the room pictures in the web)

The hotel is realy close to the time square, in the middle of everything.

My Room was ending in 1, so I'm telling this for all room ending in xx1: - The Room smells like kitchen oil. - The Room has a huge elevator sounds that NEVER STOPS. - The Hot Air Conditioned wasn't blowing air (the temperature outsite was 14F). - - Front desk when I first arrived offered me a "upgrade" to the disabled room, that has a bathroom that is usable only for disabled (I'm not). I asked to change, then they moved to the 601.

The only thing satisfied me was the location of this hotel.

First, the frontdesk forgot to give us the room keys when I checked-in. That made us have to wait more than 25 minutes (for slow key preparation service), and it was unbelievable that I still got keys that were not usable!! Besides, I cannot accept a hotel which charged >400 usd per night but has no hot water for shower. However this problem happened every day.(i stayed for 3 nights, and we had to call frontdesk every night to beg for hot water!! Even their "engineer" came to help us in the first night but same problem happend again and again!!) And finally, this hotel did not service in a timely manner, which is so slow and not satisfying customers. I will never reccomend this hotel to anyone I know.

Location

The hotel is very tired.It needs a major facelift and redecoration. The staff left dish racks,room service racks, etc in the hallways. They were there all day long. The carpeting is worn, the bell staf stacks luggage in the entry way which makes it difficult to get thru the lobby.

Location was great!

They have reserved extra 400 dollars (100 dollars per day) in my credit card account although the room price has already been charged. Although it has been 4 days since I have left the hotel they have not released that amount. They try to charge everything they can charge. Removal of an item from the minibar was enough to be charged even if that item has not been used or consumed. It is completely none-sense! They charged me 12 dollars for 2 bottles of mineral water that I have never drunk because of this none-sense minibar policy. Another difficulty was that we had to take breakfast in an adjacent restaurant which was inconvenient.

Location, location, location

A few cans of paint and a refresh would do wonders for this hotel.

The location for theatre, movies, music and museums.

It is extremely well located and the price was excellent. The staff is friendly. We had problem with the heating system and were changed room in an instant. The restaurant nextdoor offers a 25% discount to hotel guests. The food there is excellent.

The rooms are a little small but you don't go to nyc to stay in your room all day and I have seen much smaller rooms in big european cities.

The location was fantastic for ny city and for the price. It was a few blocks fromTime Square, Rockefeller Center, and theatres. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and simple. We will come back for sure. The reservation was for one double bed, but they gave us a room with 2 double beds so my son and I each had a bed.

Great staff amazing position perfect service.. My room was just a little bit small but that's a really superficial thing, I was lucky cause i've paid whit 25% off! Whitout sales it's expensive.. But for the right reasons! A+ staff molto cordiale, posizione incredibile e servizio perfetto, la mia camera era leggermente piccola ma in una grande metropoli in quella posizione è il minimo.. compensato da un servizio da hotel di lusso (bottiglia di vino offerta, bigliettino con le prevision metereeologiche ecc..) veramente bello, pulito, il ristorante dell'albergo è molto buono pe gli standard ny! (detto da un toscano appassionato di cucina!!).. direi perfetto. io però ho pagato il 25% in meno quindi era il massimo, giri l'angolo sei in time square.. riconosco che sensa sconti è caro.. ma ne vale la pena!
