The location is excellent. I really liked that we were given two bottles of water every day. The room was clean and we got clean towels every day. Our windows looked at the Geary street and it was quite noisy. The hotel's hallways were kind of smelly. I don't know if this was because of the cleaning products or something else, but I didn't like it. |

The hotel staff was very helpful and kind and had gave me a room size upgrade for no extra cost. I liked the security with locked door at night. Clean basic room. The pillows. They were old, flat, and disgusting, with no pillow covers/protectors. had a hard time sleeping on them. Also the street was extremely noisy all night long. |

A lady staff provided us a friendly, detailed & excellent services. Really appreciate that. Although the hotel room looks clean, there was a light bad smell which I need to spray purfume. However, the smell din really cause bad experience to us while during 3 nights' stay. |

We enjoy the small friendly nature of this hotel so close to Union Square San Francisco There is now excellent Internet access both wireless and a private room and 25% discount on breakfast at lovely Davids cafe next door. This was our third stay there. |

The staff were nice, the room was serviced well. The free wireless was great. The decor and furnishings were old. The tv was so small I never turned it on (hulu on free wireless made up for it). The general cleanliness was a little worrying. Bring earplugs, but if you do you will sleep well |

The people were wonderful and very helpful, the place was clean, and very centrally located. Wasnt too expensive and was close to all the bus/rail/cable car connections. Maybe a little old fashioned, but for the price in the city it was good. Wish there had been a small fridge in the room. |

We liked the small, un-corporate feel of it. Very old-fashioned and cozy. It was also centrally located in the city, which was why we ended up choosing it in the first place. It was cold, and we would have appreciated in-room information about the radiator. We ended up needing an extra blanket. Also, there were no washcloths, only hand towels. And I felt that overall, with taxes and fees and parking, that the price was too high. |

Hotel is cheap, bigger rooms than e.g. Adante Hotel though cheaper! Romms with window towards street very loud at night. Close to Union Square. Breakfast not included although "Davids restaurant" is right next to it and somehow belongs to Hotel since staff is the same and Hotel makes advertising for restaurant and vice versa. Even opening times of restaurant and lobby occupance is the same. Lobby occupance not 24 hours |

Great location in the center of the city. Cute little hotel rooms, with no extra amenities, but with everything you need for a low key stay in the city at a very affordable price. Who cares about coffee makers and a large hotel room, when you are staying in one of the most beautiful cities of the world??? Get out of the room! We love this little charming hotel. Low prices, great rooms. |

The bed was extremely comfortable. Location was excellent, even if it was a bit difficult to find it walking down the street. The room was small and ackwardly designed (i.e., the sink wasn't in the bathroom). There was no "do not disturb" sign and maid service came at unpredictable times. The TV was small and dated with only over-the-air channels. |

The room vs the money was ok. The location is perfect. I would recommend this hotel to everyone why looks for a chip hotel in a perfect location in San Francisco. The furniture, The installation and all the facilities are very old and in a very poor conition |

It was conveniently located to everything I wanted to do and the places I wanted to go. The staff was very professional , although the front desk was not manned 24 hours...If your looking for a place with a bed and a bathroom, this is the place-- no frills Staff at the front desk only there 13 hours a day. |

The location is perfect, in downtown with the cheapest price. As the price is quite low, you cannot expect the room to be large enough. |

The proximity to public transportation Shower does not drain as it should. Overflow of water on floor was very uncomfortable. Also, the wash handles leaked water |
