Location is excellent. Very near to shopping malls, bars and restaurants.

Central location. Stylish diner with good food great pancakes. Friendly helpful staff. Room was simple and nice.

The airport shuttle they organized left 10 minutes early, almost driving off without me just to then wait for about 10 minutes at another hotel.

Noisy and no A/C

I liked that the Hotel was in the center of Union Square. Cable Cars and Buses easily accessed. Jane at the front desk was always willing to go out of her way to show us how to get to places we wanted to visit.

Our room was facing the alley way behind the Hotel. Very noisy all throughout the night. After four nights of that we were ready to get on our way. Other than that every thing else was lovely.

Friendly staff. Great location. Boutique hotel with good atmosphere.

staff was very friendly, room was clean, only a 5 minutes walk away from union square

the bathroom was very small, almost too small -- i don't know if the bathrooms have the same size in all of the rooms though

Location, near F line. Free breakfast since tv didn't work. Shuttle to and from hotel.

Towels spotted, TV didn't work the first night, no closet space, tv didn't tilt down. Hard to vent steam from warm shower.

I like it because it is close to the Union Square, China Town and the Mall. Also, they have the best food downstairs, so convenient,

Our room is facing towards the street so it is noisy and you can hear people yelling outside till 4 a.m.

Ideally situated for everything. In Union Square in 2 minutes and easy access to all forms of transport. Staff were friendly and helpful and the diner next door excellent. Everything on the doorstep. Being in the city centre meant it was noisy at night but earplugs were provided. We slept very well without resorting to them. Very happy with it all and thoroughly recommend the hotel.

The only thing we would have liked would have been a little more water pressure in the shower but that is being very picky!

The room was ready and clean when I arrived. It is most assuredly not a luxury suite. But the price is right

Nice staff, clean, good location, nice food at David's!!

Internet didn't work on my ipod but 2 computers available in lobby so ok. Beds a little bit old, futon style so back ache a bit. If you have back problems, ask staff they will accomodate you.

I was very safe and comfortable here, the room was clean, the bed was good and I had the choice of a few different television channels. The concierge also booked my airport shuttle in the morning for just $15 (as opposed to $10 to walk several blocks with all my bags to the bart) or $50 for a cab.

My room looked right out over the street and as it was a Saturday night, it was quite noisy throughout the night.

Staff was very attentive and polite. Location was great.

I had read the rooms were small but I was still surprised. They are REALLY small. Bed was clean enough but there were stains on the walls. The street is VERY noisy during most of the night and there is no air conditioning in the room.

The location was excellent.The rooms were clean .Its a good place to stay for a day or two.

The room was very small and had very poor ventilation since it was situated at the back.It was also very stuffy.
