The takeaway cafe/coffee shop on the ground floor was good and it was useful to be able get coffee first thing in the morning. Room service is very slow and expensive.
No bath tub in bathroom, only a shower. Room is under furnished, no comfortable chair to sit on. You either have to sit on the bed or the hard desk chair.
Great hotel. great location, great suite, great staff, great food, great room, great everything. Had special trip in New York and this hotel was big part of that reason.
Perfect midtown location, beautiful and spacious Towers Room with superb view, swift check in service, clean and efficient, excellent value for money and good, witty and friendly door/bell staff. Did hear some complaints from other guests about prices, but this is an upmarket 5 star Manhattan Hotel, and if you have to think about whether you can afford it, you probably can't.
Room service was a little slow on occasion and staff were slow in responding to a plumbing emergency - however they did move us quickly and apologised and attempted to recover a bad situation well
Beautiful suite and was upgraded to corner suite. Staff was especially friendly and helpful. Location was great. Room service was excellent as well.
Had no premium cable channels, even though not in room too much, but should be offered given prices of rooms. And, restaurant not open yet for dinner, only breakfast.
Wonderful stay with heavenly views, busy hotel but the Towers gives you the element of exclusivity. Lovely staff.
No functioning restaurant on the premises but it is mitigated by a great restaurant right next door
High price 600$ for normal room.
We loved our Tower suite on the 50th floor overlooking St.Patrick's Cathedral. Excellent decor, everything felt fresh and new, also the lobby and restaurant. The accommodation is superior to what you would get for that price at the Waldorf (where we used to stay), although the ambiance of the Waldorf lobby and common parts remains unsurpassed.
We liked everything.
The staff was great about getting tickets for us.
The two bars did not serve any food.
Perfect upscale hotel for a NYC trip. The view from the tower suits on the skyline are amazing and enhance the NYC experience. The consierge service is very helpful and arranges even at short notice reservations at new/in locations.
View. Room. Location.
The man at the reception desk in VIP zone didn't explain anything about hotel facilities. And promised to call back when the room was ready but nobody called. For 550$ per night I expected more than this kind of service.
WATER PRESSURE IS VERY WEAK
wifi/ every thing
water pressure in shower is very very very weak
speed of response to overflowing toilet cistern which resulted in flooded room
We loved everything about our Towers room. This was the second time in 7 mos that we stayed here. Both stays were exceptional.
The only negative, if you can call it that, is each night I needed to call to get ice. No big deal at all.
Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Accommodations were beautiful and spacious.
It was great fun to stay in the hotel very good service, luxurious place but laid back and at the same time professional approach to service. We liked the room in the Tower
Nothing considering how crowded NYis over Xmas the place was not chaotic and the hotel never felt like a train station hall. So all great!
We were upgraded to the Tower Suites, it was amazing! We felt like royalty!!
