Clean, quiet, great location.

The rude staff who basically accousted me one night. Yes, I do stay here and don't treat me like I did something wrong.

Location, neighborhood, price.

Street noise (you could choose a non-street-view room to mitigate this).

Great for budget travel. I would gladly stay here again, comfortable bed and great location for a walker. Wonderful place to get out and explore a great city.

Good location, close to nightlife & shops

Basic accommodation, towels were quite old

Clean rooms, free wifi and a great location for restaurants, bars and general nightlife.

Shower facilities were very poor with the door not even fitting the frame, so unable to lock. Only one per floor too. A little overpriced in relation, however a clean and tidy place to stay.

Its location to public transportation (bart/muni); tourist and nightlife locations (Castro St/Market St, Delores Park); safety; and helpful staff member.

Expensive overall but price competitive with similarly rated hotels. Common shower and bathroom were not cleaned, room was not freshened daily. Slow and restricted internet access--based, I believe, on religious restrictions of the owner/manager.

It is in a great location right in the heart of Mission and very close to bars and restaurants and public transport.

The rooms were tiny and made smaller by the presence of a giant fridge, television and microwave which I thought were unnecessary. The bed was too soft and the shower up the hall was dirty and lacked any shelves to put your things on. For the rate we paid I would expect more; otherwise charge less.

The hotel is conveniently located 2 blocks from the public transportation in San Francisco (bart) and was also in a youthful neighborhood. There were plenty of restaurants and small shops around.

The staff wasn't very nice to us until we checked out. The room was very disappointing. The walls were stained, the chest of drawers was falling apart and there was one communal shower and toilet on our floor.

Price, location

The rooms were extremely noisy (walls not insulated). We heard the owner's baby crying all night long from what I assume is their home downstairs. We were on floor three. The owners did not make themselves available or have available times posted. They kept the door closed, and did not respond to ringing of the bell after hours. Our room was not cleaned daily. We didn't even get fresh towels on a five day trip! No telephone. They would vaccuum extremely early in the morning. Not very traveler friendly. I'm just doing this to help them.

Staff was unwilling to store a minor, negligible amount of luggage for a few hours after check out - after this had been agreed on before. At a room rate of over $ 200 per night incl. Taxes, this lack of willingness to accommodate customers is deplorable, even if I expect to pay high prices for an accommodation in San Francisco.

Location

the staff was rude and the room was very tiny for the price.if you wanted new towels or toilet paper or anything for that matter you had to ask 2-4 times before someone would finally get it. they did not clean our room our whole stay of 5 nights. we had 3 full bags of trash sitting on our floor and theres no a/c

It was in a pretty cool part of town, a part of sf I've never stayed before. Close to great pizza and markets.

Clean and secure

The location is fantastic.

I thought it was a bit pricey for what it was but don't really know the going rate in San Francisco. The room was pretty basic and I couldn't get the shower to work.

I was completely happy with the room and the hotel and the location can't be beat. It is in the middle of a very interesting city neighborhood, there's easy public transportation, and there is so much dining, shopping, and entertainment all around. The people were friendly. I'm going to stay there again.

I didn't like anything about the Hotel Tropicana

I was there a week and they didn't clean the room one time or take out the garbage. The room smelled, the whole hotel smelled bad. it was poorly decorating. The bed was uncomfortable.

千万不要再和这家酒店签约了，无论设施还是服务的质量太差！太差！尤其气味太熏人了！ 我们预定的房间，居然入住时里面放满了其他物品。让我们住其他房间，可是和我们预定的完全不符，条件极差！- 根本就像是个家庭小旅馆！我们预定两天，其实只住了一天，如不是来不及预定另一家，连一天也无法住！ 该酒店的网上宣传与其实际严重不符，国人千万不要上当了！ 另外，该酒店是家庭管理，应是伊斯兰文化，要注意适应性！

Avevamo letto le recensioni ed eravamo seriamente preoccupati, ma probabilmente siamo stati fortunati perche' la camera era pulita, luminosa e areata con 3 finestre. Chiedete della camera 209. Lo staff e' inesistente ma per noi non e' stato un problema poiche' ci interessva solamente fare check in, check out e avere password per wireless. La zona di Mission e' tra le piu' comode e belle, ma la consiglio ai giovani che vogliono essere in una zona cool, con locali, artisti, negozi e mezzi di trasporto. Non la consiglio alle famiglie con bambini.

Lo staff ti da solo l'essenziale, ma per noi era ok.

Das Entree war O.K.

Empfang kurz angebunden, alte abgelebte Möblierung, laut, nicht klimatisiert. In der Badewanne hat das Umschaltung auf Duschen nicht funktioniert. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis beurteilen wir als skandalös.
