Score from 245 reviews Good
Good value. Center of town, access to public transit.
Mission District. Close to metro.
Far from piers
Mosaic floors were festive.
I asked for a senior discount and they frowned snd refused. 200.00 per nite for a tiny unventilated room. The first room offered was so small you could not walk around the bed and the bed so soft I had to ask for a different room. A very little bit better, that one. No window screens , sirens frequently, and second night I heard pot shots - like a gun, several times waking me. Noisy toilet. Would not stay here again for that kind of money . The young Indian woman covering her face I felt was rude to me to ask for a discount . They downgraded me to a one bed room Which should have cost less!
The back fire escape was fun to hang out on
Shared 1 bathroom & 1 shower with whole floor. Over priced, 350 a night for 3 small single beds in a closet like space
location that's about it
The hotel smelled everyday like Indian food
Location Room with 2 double beds had it's own bathroom The in-room bathroom was spotless
The prospect of shared bathrooms when I booked
Mission district is the best! Rats in the hallway is the worst...0
Very nice and helpful people. Clean and spacious room.
Noise coming from the street and from the adjacent nightclub, but after long days of visiting SFO, you easily fall asleep and the noise is not a problem anymore.
The price isn't affordable
Outside looked appealing
Didn't like the fact that their was no restroom in the room! The shower and bathroom were shared among all of the people who booked a room. I felt uncomfortable and not even a light fixture. I ended up not sleeping there, because of fear and uncomfort.
- Great location (Castro): lots of bars and restaurants next door - Quite clean
- The room wasn't ready (3 hours after official check-in time) - Small rooms without air conditioning (it is a bit stuffy in the room)
It is nothing more than a really expensive hostel in a dodgy area which is a long way from where the tourist really wants to be. Do not stay here.
Can't think of much, honestly, besides the location.
Rude staff, way to expensive. We wanted a room for two but payed for a room for three. The room was not clean, smelled funky, and the mattresses were a whole different story.
parking problem but it's not a big deal.
lively area, simple and small but clean room, close to BART station (Mission/16th)
price, but the whole city is very expensive.
Great location, valencia street is a nice area
Price is a little high as rooms are very basic. But San Francisco is expensive...
Smells horrible inside.
The room was very clean.
Lack of screens on windows since we had to open then for ventilation.
Clean room Location
Hotel was very clean and well maintained, and service was fast. Location is surrounded by restaurants.
Hotel would not hold luggage before check-in time.
Good location. Close to bars and shops.
Leaking toilet. No maid service, they didn't clean the room or make the bed. We felt like we were being watched by the owners.
Staff was helpfull to suggest sights to see and public transportation to get there.
Good value for money, clean
It was clean enough, and not too noisy. No frills - but was adequate. When I spend almost $200/night I am used to more amenities. I'm sure it's all about location and what's going on in the city...
