The price isn't affordable
- Great location (Castro): lots of bars and restaurants next door - Quite clean
- The room wasn't ready (3 hours after official check-in time) - Small rooms without air conditioning (it is a bit stuffy in the room)
It is nothing more than a really expensive hostel in a dodgy area which is a long way from where the tourist really wants to be. Do not stay here.
Can't think of much, honestly, besides the location.
Rude staff, way to expensive. We wanted a room for two but payed for a room for three. The room was not clean, smelled funky, and the mattresses were a whole different story.
parking problem but it's not a big deal.
lively area, simple and small but clean room, close to BART station (Mission/16th)
price, but the whole city is very expensive.
Great location, valencia street is a nice area
Price is a little high as rooms are very basic. But San Francisco is expensive...
Smells horrible inside.
The room was very clean.
Lack of screens on windows since we had to open then for ventilation.
Clean room Location
Hotel was very clean and well maintained, and service was fast. Location is surrounded by restaurants.
Hotel would not hold luggage before check-in time.
Good location. Close to bars and shops.
Leaking toilet. No maid service, they didn't clean the room or make the bed. We felt like we were being watched by the owners.
Staff was helpfull to suggest sights to see and public transportation to get there.
Good value for money, clean
It was clean enough, and not too noisy. No frills - but was adequate. When I spend almost $200/night I am used to more amenities. I'm sure it's all about location and what's going on in the city...
Location is perfect.
You get what you are paying for. The hotel is very cheap and the location is great, so don't expect any luxury. The rooms are very small but comfortable enough to sleep.
It's more like a hostel them a hotel. Old beds.
Excellent location in the best street of SF. Nice staff.
The hotel stays at Valencia St. between 17th and 18th St. It's a very good place with many restaurants, delis and drug stores. The room and bathroom were clean. There was a bathroom at my room #317.
There aren't housekeeping at the hotel, so you have to maintain you room clean. There isn't elevator.
The location is good; relatively quite room if you aren't directly over the club, which we were the first two nights.
The level of cleanliness isn't good: I had to ask specifically for the bin to be emptied (there is microwave and fridge in the room so there is an expectation that you will be eating in the room). I had to specifically ask for the room to be cleaned (e.g. clean towels; towels very small and thin). At over A$110/night (minimum booking 7 nights) this is completely unacceptable.
Over priced run down bad reception
Staff not welcoming - acceptably clean - too expensive for a very small room with a small bed and a shared bathroom( tiny: just the size of the shower). i booked for 3 nights, stayed only one.
1. No air condition 2. Room was very small, very different from photos 3. Non-working shower 4. Very strange smell 5. The room was exactly just for sleep, no more, it was worst... Don't go there
