We stayed at the Vegas several times and were always impressed with the service comfort and price.
We think we got bed bugs on the last visit. Called the property to alert them but never got a call back.
The improvements are helping the looks. They kept some of the good staff. I manage a motel and we don't change quoted prices upon check in, unless the customer changes 1) the amount of people 2) has a pet not declared when making reservation.
Well where should I start, how about check in, was quoted one price "which I mentioned while checking in" charged a different rate. Second went to the room and noticed a certain truck in the back next to a car they were talking then there was an exchange of something "my guess drugs". Then I guess the subject was waiting for another. Went to the lounge and same friendly staff that was there last year, restaurant was open this year but way too high of prices, and I think (from what I saw of the menu) 1) was over priced 2) I think they got the region really, really wrong, I don't want to insult them but not many people like everything blackened or not that many Cajun style food in MONTANA you really missed the boat on this one. Sheets on the bed were two flat sheets that don't fit right. Next night same truck, same car. Then Truck was out back with a different car. My guess is drugs again. The staff should pay more attention to the prices at check in, I was quoted one price and paid another, Something seems fishy about that.
Clean room Quiet Comfortable bed
No free breakfast
very quiet, clean rooms.
restaurant wasn't exciting limited menu. the hamburger that I had tasted like it had been cooked in the microwave very tasteless.
There was no pool table. Was was missing that.
Room size Very comfortable bathroom Cleanliness Helpfull staff Efficient and free shuttle from and to airport
Location: at 9:00 PM there was nothing open in the neibourhood. We hardly found a shabby casino where we found beer and munchies.
Easy to find,an get out of.food and gas close by.
Older part of town
After a long day of traveling, although small. The bar was open till midnight and the younger female bartender was nice, professional and freindly. She was able to answer the few questions I had about the area. The rest of the staff at the hotel was more than helpfull. Especially for as late as my check in was.
The walking distance to any food places still open.
Pillows are flat
Much better than I expected. Good wifi. Restaurant was nicely decorated, had great staff, and served the tastiest pancakes I've ever eaten.
Carpet was stained in some places.
Room was quite, clean, and bed was comfortable. Restaurant food was excellent, and staff was superb. Best onion rings ever.
Limited parking for truck and trailer. Restaurant price was a bit high.
The hosts were very pleasant and cordial.
The area is poor, more industrial and wife was hesitant to stay. The old facility, could use updating, though if is used mostly by construction or various other workers, I can understand the hesitation to updating the building.
Day staff were superb and helpful Clean Handy to airport Handy to I-90
Casino night crowd a bit edgy.
Very quiet facility.
Gap in bottom of door and pillows.
I hated just about everything about this place. As you walk in, the "hotel" was dingy and outdated. The staff were not overly helpful or friendly. The drapes in the room do not close all the way and I had to use a hair clip to make sure no one peered in from the parking lot. There is a door that adjoins to the next room with no handle lock, only a chain which means someone on the other side could see into your room 3+ inches. The floor was elevated off the solid ground so you could hear every foot step. The floor sounded hollow. The mattress was the hardest bed I have ever felt and the linens were old.
we were put in a section with long term renters it was noisy and felt unsafe although we had no problems.
It is very close to the Interstate - especially of you are traveling east and want to get an early start out of Billings. It was a fairly quiet and clean room - older appearance with basic amenities. But the price is as good as you can get in Billings for just a rest stop - not for a longer stay.
Very poor reception/check-in. Clerk was watching TV in the lounge when I arrived, then stated I had no reservation - although she admitted she had put it in herself the day before. Booking.com was very helpful and confirmed the reservation (clerk probably "fat-fingered" the wrong date of arrival). Then she refused to accept my military ID as a photo ID - so I had to search among other credit cards where I had misplaced my driver's license, then tossed it on the counter. The clerk became very irate and stated she will not issue me a room "for treating her like a dog". I had to demand to see the manager as I was getting booking.com to search for another room nearby. The manager supportered her clerk for demanding a driver's license (although there check-in sign and the clerk only asked for a "photo ID" not a driver's license). Booking.com had found another room, but a few miles back west and I had already driven 12 hours and didn't want to drive backwards. So I apologized to the inept clerk for tossing my license on the counter and the manager checked me in. All-in-all, not the best experience after a full day of driving (from Seattle). I would never use this hotel again - would not have used it that night had I not been so tired. Again it has a good location and a the best price for just an 8-9 hour stop-over. But Booking.com was a great backup, I was highly satisfied in their response to my predicament.
Wasn't impressed with Bijou Café. Need to have more of American style restaurant.
The location is great - right off of I90. Downtown Billings is a short drive down the street.
It's too bad that a breakfast isn't offered.
new hotel with very good large rooms.Good restaurant also
No complaints apart from the shower did not work but it was too late for them to fix as I only found out about it in the morning
Easy drive to.
