the hotel is really good. The only restaurant where you can eat well, without spending a fortune is the Canaletto. Other restaurants are definitely too expensive and the food is average.
the majority of the restaurants are too expensive and definitely not worth it.
The room and facilities
The pricing of the room , taxes and resort fee charges not very clear upfront
The Venetian is a large busy hotel with great amenities and restaurants. Our room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
The room is clean and open make you feel relaxed. Also, the service is very good and polite.
No bad experience with this trip.
The location, the room size. The bed was amazing. Very clean. Bars and restaurants nicer than most on the strip as some are just slap bang in the middle of the casino so don't really get their own atmosphere.
The mandatory resort fee as with most of the strip hotels is just an added extra that you don't really get any benefit of.
Short walks to Coluseum, the ferris(sic) wheel, and great restrauants, bakeries and bars on property. Frankly, we liked every thing about the Venetian/Palazzo hotel.
Caution...we were charged for in suite refreshments, when in fact, we did not touch any of the "treats". One phone call and we were immediately issued a credit against the total bill without any harassment. Needless to say, we plan on coming back.
The Venetian along with most other mega casinos on the Strip have increased their advantage by paying blackjack 6:5 instead of the traditional 3:2. gamble off the Strip for better odds.
Lack of hot water access to pool restricted due to renovation room overlooking roofs and plant location latter blamed on Booking.com
The room was huge and spacious for just me and my fiance
That we didn't have a view of the strip and not enough time to enjoy more of the hotel amenities
The room is not as big as It seems in the picture! They just use the reflection of the window to make a illusion. And it's not as good looking as it seems to be. We have four people in the suite. But the beds are really small. Four people living in the same room is too crowded.
Great pool, lovely rooms, unbelievable surroundings.
Takes 30 minutes to get from place to place within the hotel - very confusing to get around. When I asked if I could get mail delivered to the hotel, I was not told there would be a $7 handling fee, so that was an unpleasant surprise.
The room was amazing. We had a king suite and everything was just great! Really comfortable and spacious with a huge bath to relax in.
No adaptor for overseas travellers to charge their phones or other appliances.
What I liked about the Venetian was the helpful staff. They certainly went out their way into making sure we were taking care of.
When you think of Vegas. A few points come to mind. Buffet. I looked forward to having the option to choice what to eat vs going to a restaurant undecided of what to have. Its okay if your doing things on your own. Families, is another key point. Kids don't often appeal to what adults marinade their pallets with. Suggestion; incorporate some of the non hot spot gambling areas of the casino and set up a 100/max seating space for a buffet.
The suite, the in suite breakfast every morning (included with the room fee) the staff, shops, restaurants, decor, casino, location on the strip....everything!!!
room location was awful (1521) no sun at all at the pool, no view and shower head was broke
Needs better signs! The hotel is like a maze and due to poor signs didn't get to see all of the facilities. Also tea and coffee facitlities in the room!
Poker room, restaurants, staff, wifi, rooms...
Too big , hard to find right way
Loved the choices of foods, shopping and fun. We could have stayed at the hotel the whole time in Vegas and never left. Incredible hotel and awesome service.
Is in the center of the strip, conveniently located boulevard, the gondola ride inside is better than OUTDOOR, the gondoliers are excellent singers
They charge a Fee (resort) as other hotels in Vegas, but in others you are given a coupon book for discounts on meals and games, here only one (well certainly in bad presse cafe) coffee and a free beer if you buy other , breakfast in the room (no big deal)
Wonderful suite, great location, beautifully clean everywhere, very helpful staff
It's an absolute maze, quite corporate in that it lacks any old Vegas charm, and the food and drink is grossly overpriced ($4.50 for a croissant and $5 for a cappucino)
