Great customer service. No ice machine but management went out and procured ice for us! The room had 2 entrance / exit doors!
Location is excellent. Extremely close to Attititash, and not far at all from North Conway and Wildcat Mountain.
The staff were rude and unhelpful. They seemed visible frustrated that we had to check in late due to a slow drive due to heavy snow. The walls are extremely thin, and it is not difficult to hear your neighbors next door.
Very nice staff.
Walls needed to be finished painting, not done, only partially. Refrigerator needs a handle. Otherwise, it was fine.
This place is great. We especially liked that we were able to back the car right up to the room so we didn't have to lug all of our belongings up a bunch of stairs. We had stayed at the Attitash Mountain Village the night before, and we both agreed that the Villager Motel is MUCH better! It's a bit further down te road but it's so much cleaner. The previous place smelled terrible and we tried to stay out to dinner longer to keep from spending time at the hotel. Anyway the Villager Motel was a great stay for a fantastic price. The proprietors were very nice and helpful, too. The kids were so cute :) thanks!
Everything was great
Snow removal after storm.
Kind staff who promptly changed our room when the first wasn't clean to my satisfaction. She showed us 3 others to choose from, and was very sweet and accommodating.
I didn't like that my tub was full of hair, (and not the kind from your head, eew!) The beds were so hard and springy, our family of 4, no joke, probably slept about 4-5 hours all night. A total of 7 pillows in the room, and unfortunately, they were either monstrous and waaaay to high and fluffy, or flat and resembled the feeling of a cement bag beneath your head. Just a terrible nights sleep, and wish I spent a little more for a better value.
What more can one say. Non communicative staff. Nice place. Not a wow, but a nights sleep.
Very clean, comfortable accommodations, convenient location, friendly staff. We were expecting a queen bed and got a king. That was nice.
Price was inflated due to the Fryeburg Fair, but this should be no reflection on this motel because all accommodations in the area on both sides of the Maine/NH border do it. The only other thing in noticed was the chain lock on the inside of the door was missing. Otherwise everything was great.
Flies in the room and dead bugs on the windowsill. Loud drunk people net door after midnight. Creepy
Paper thin walls. Could here the neighbors talking perfectly
I like the location of the motel.
I did not like the the smell or how outdated it was; also was not happy that on our second day when they were cleaning our room they took all of our hygiene products because they thought we had checked-out. Overall I will not be staying there again.
Drab . Poor coffee facilities. Wi-fi slow. Shower next door woke us up
The room was clean . The area was quiet and the staff pleasant .
Wi-Fi signal was weak. The bed was firmer than most .
beds were comfortable, nice spacious room, large outdoor areas for kids with play equipment, fire pits and grills to use if you wanted, nice friendly people that run/own it. convenient location to many area attractions, surrounded by a wooded setting, real country feel.
no breakfast, just coffee and tea, but we went out for breakfast. walls a little thin could hear neighbors at times.no locks on bathroom door
The beds both had old mattresses on them. Very hard & uncomfortable. Woke up sore and stiff every morning.
I needed to cancel due to my mistake but the Villiager wanted us to forfeit one nights lodging so we drove way out of our way to get there in order to stay and have something for our over charged room. I agree with the John Woodburns only that they have lousy pillows.
The location was fantastic, the front desk staff was friendly, and the bed was comfortable enough. We really just wanted an inexpensive place to get a good night's sleep in between hikes.
They could have done a better job cleaning. I found other peoples' hair in the bathtub and on the walls. It seemed like someone gave it a once-over with disinfectant but it could have used a good deep clean.
Mold in the bathroom Toilet and shower NOT clean bugs in the room windows falling out of casings not well-maintained
Loved the personal fire pits out back! Quiet and comfortable--
The hotel was just outside of North Conway the staff was very nice. The room was very clean and came with a mini fridge and microwave. This hotel was a great value for the money would definately stay here again.
Comfortable room Quiet
conditions of the towels coffee not available early enough
We loved the outdoor play area geared toward our small children. It took us less than 10 minutes to get to Storyland. The room was clean and large - perfect for our needs.
The beds were very firm and we didn't sleep great but it was a great stay.
The room was clean and comfortable.
It seemed there were people living there with families. Not an issue for us but, one of them threw up in front of his room and lobby.
handy for photography hiking and nearby restaurants overall we enjoyed our stay in Bartlett.
location was good. bed was comfortable
there were bugs in the bathroom staff was not friendly
