If you want to stay in the Arlington/Rosslyn it's a great position. The Shuttle to the Metro works well and it's a 7 minute stroll to the Cemetary where you can pick up the hop on/off tour buses. The room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Value for money.

The best deal - really! The Metro (train) was super easy to visit DC and the hotel bus drove us right to the local station. A little outdated and the service was super slow (you have to call to ask for plates, cups, etc for the kitchen - it took > 1 hour for them to bring up 2 water glasses the first time, then they forgot to bring 2 plates the second time).

Shuttle bus service was good, but only 7:30-9:30 and 4:30-7:30.It is convenient walking distance to Metro station and Georgetown. Safeway shuttle bus service was good as well. The room was big enough with full kitchen. You should ask dishes, cups and pans if you want to cook. You can use pc with wireless internet in a lobby at anytime. I do not need gring my pc with. Room 621`s bath room had a problem. The faucet has dripping water. The door chain was broken.

Not overly impressive but comfortable and staff friendly and it is a older Hotel. Exercise equipment could be updated. Had to go into Rosslyn to the Hyatt for a good resturant. Kitchen was good for breakfast. All in all satisfied with the stay. Stairs from front door to front desk made it hard with bags.

The rooms were spacious and big. There was a fully equipped kitchen attached. The furnishings were great and we had wifi access. They also allowed nearby hotels to deliver to the rooms which was great considering the fact that the hotel didnt have any restaurant within the premises. No restaurant attached to the hotel and none within the walking distance. Nearest eatouts are at the metro subway station and again the options are limited here. The hotel is situated a little off the main highway and a bit isolated so it isnt easy to get a cab once you are on the road. Reviews said that the hotel has an house cab that can be used for moving in and around nearby locations, but the staff there never offered the facility to us even when we asked them directions to a nearby places.

Good size room. Great to have a kitchen. Good staff My room was hot for some reason, even with an open window. Strange given that it was mid November. The bed pillows were not comfortable and the basic cable package didn't offer that many options for tv watching. Ended up being too far for my needs (going to dc Convention Center)

Loved the fact that there was a fully equipped kitchen which meant that we could prepare our own meals and eat in at the end of an exhausting day sightseeing. Lovely large space with heaps of storage.

It wasn t clear to us at checkin that there would be a $150 charge for our dog. We think that was way unreasonable and we would not have stayed at your hotel if we had know.

We liked the proximity to Arlington and Washington, including Georgetown. We enjoyed the art deco feel of the suite, and yes, we enjoyed the suite itself.

Location, convenience to transport, ambience and decor. We arrived, tired after an18 hour trip from South Africa, only to find that the hotel was full and there was no room available to us even though we had a confirmed booking, We were transferred to a motel up the road and accommodated there for 1 night. This motel had a malfunctioning bathroom and was a great disappointment. On day 2 when I phoned to ask if there was a room available, I was assured that there was, but again on our arrival there seemed to be some problem and we were made to wait for about 30 minutes while this was sorted out. Fortunately, the 2 nights we did spend there were very pleasant.

Proximity to the city sites and the friendliness of the staff added to our enjoyable stay. Depending on how tired we were at the end of each day ( 4 days ), we liked having the option to cater for ourselves or eating out. There is so much to see in Washington we wished we'd stayed longer. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others visiting the area.

The suite was so spacious. The staff was exceptional. We loved it and will be returing again. No complaints...only the steps to take your luggage up to the elevator was a bit inconvenient, but no real problem.

“My boyfriend and I absolutely loved the Washington Plaza Hotel! Our room was very spacious and unbelievably comfortable; it far exceeded our expectations. We really liked that it was a short walk from the McPherson Metro Station, so it was very easy to commute to all of the major attractions, and it is also was conveniently located near a lot of restaurants and bars. All in all, the Washington Plaza was a great deal, especially for two college students looking to get away for the weekend! ” Lydia, North Bergen |
